• Windows Service WebBrowser DocumentCompleted Bug

  I've been building a Windows Service to create a WebBrowser object to navigate, login, and download a site's HTML. However, I recently discovered this bug which prevents the DocumentCompleted event from firing if the WebBrowser is not visible: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/259935 I've got to assume this is because the Windows Service doesn't allow for a GUI and therefore this bug is tripped. What is the best workaround for this? Thanks for your help.

We currently have 4 different build machines building different things at different times and have a bit of a headache to manually balance the load somehow.   Does anyone tell me how to block system calls within a program, please? I am building a system which takes a piece of C source code, compiles it with gcc and runs it. For security reasons, I need to prevent the compiled program from calling system calls. Is there any way to do it, from the source code level (e.g. stripping the header files of gcc, detecting malicious external calls, ...) to the executable level?

  I'm trying to update and install the latest Android SDK (API 8) and keep getting the following error: Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target I'm running on OS X 10.6.3 If I visit the url in a browser I'm not getting any errors about an untrusted cert.
