  • Table filtering in jquery - a more elegant solution please

    - by Neil Burton
    I want to filter certain rows out of a table and am using classes to categorise the rows. The below code enables me to show and hide row data categorised as "QUO" and "CAL" (eventually there will be other categories. Can someone point me towards a more elegant solution, so I don't have to duplicate code for each category as I have below? Thanks! <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <html> <head> <title>Untitled</title> <style> </style> <script src="Javascript/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { $("#toggle_ac_cal").click(function() { var checked_status = this.checked; if (checked_status==true) { $(".ac_cal").show() } else { $(".ac_cal").hide() } }); $("#toggle_ac_quo").click(function() { var checked_status = this.checked; if (checked_status==true) { $(".ac_quo").show() } else { $(".ac_quo").hide() } }); }); </script> </head> <body> <input type="checkbox" id="toggle_ac_cal" checked="checked" />CAL<br/> <input type="checkbox" id="toggle_ac_quo" checked="checked" />QUO<br/> <table> <tbody> <tr class="ac_cal"> <td>CAL</td> <td>10 Oct</td> <td>John Barnes</td> </tr> <tr class="ac_cal"> <td>CAL</td> <td>10 Oct</td> <td>Neil Burton</td> </tr> <tr class="ac_quo"> <td>QUO</td> <td>11 Oct</td> <td>Neil Armstrong</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </body> </html>

  • JavaScript: How to get the instance name of an object

    - by Quandary
    I use the below code to write code to query a web method in a specified interval. now in the this.Poll function I have to do this.tmo = setTimeout(this.strInstanceName + ".Poll()", this.iInterval); instead of this.tmo = setTimeout(this.Poll(), this.iInterval); because IE looses the this object after setTimeout So I have to pass the class it's instance name: var objPoll = new cPoll("objPoll"); How can I get the instance name without passing it as parameter ? I want to have it outta there ! <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > <head> <title>Intervall-Test</title> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript"> function test() { alert("Test"); test.tmo = setTimeout(test, 2000); test.Clear = function() { clearTimeout(test.tmo); } } function cPoll(strInstanceName) { this.strInstanceName = strInstanceName ; this.iInterval = 2000; this.tmo=null; this.cbFunction=null; alert(this.Name ); this.Poll = function() { this.cbFunction(); this.tmo = setTimeout(this.strInstanceName + ".Poll()", this.iInterval); } this.Start = function(pCallBackFunction, iIntervalParameter) { if(this.tmo != null) this.Stop(); if(iIntervalParameter && iIntervalParameter > 0) this.iInterval=iIntervalParameter; this.cbFunction=pCallBackFunction; if(this.cbFunction!=null) this.Poll(); else alert("Invalid or no callback function specified"); } this.Stop = function() { if(this.tmo != null) { clearTimeout(this.tmo); this.tmo=null; } } } function CallBackFunction() { alert("PollCallBack"); } // test(); // test.Clear(); var objPoll = new cPoll("objPoll"); </script> </head> <body> <h1>Test</h1> <input type="Button" value="Start polling" onclick="objPoll.Start(CallBackFunction,3000);" /> <input type="Button" value="Stop polling" onclick="objPoll.Stop();" /> </body> </html>

    I need help getting the file to run in Firefox: I have tried adapting scripts so that my file runs in both IE and Firefox but so far it still only works in IE. (The file can be tested at http://www.eyle.org/crosstest.html - simply type the word Mike in the text box using IE (doesn't work in Firefox).The HTML document is: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>Untitled Document</title> <script type="text/javascript"> var xmlDoc; //loads xml using either IE or firefox function loadXmlDoc() { //test for IE if(window.ActiveXObject) { xmlDoc = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM"); xmlDoc.async = false; xmlDoc.load("books2.xml"); } //test for Firefox else if(document.implementation && document.implementation.createDocument) { xmlDoc = document.implementation.createDocument("","",null); xmlDoc.load("books2.xml"); } //if neither else {document.write("xml file did not load");} } //window.onload = loadXmlDoc(); var subject; //getDetails adds value of txtField to var subject in outputgroup(subject) function getDetails() { //either this or window.onload = loadXmlDoc is needed loadXmlDoc(); var subject = document.getElementById("txtField1").value; function outputgroup(subject) { var xslt = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XSLTemplate"); var xslDoc = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.FreeThreadedDOMDocument"); var xslProc; xslDoc.async = false; xslDoc.resolveExternals = false; xslDoc.load("contains3books.xsl"); xslt.stylesheet = xslDoc; xslProc = xslt.createProcessor(); xslProc.input = xmlDoc; xslProc.addParameter("subj", subject); xslProc.transform(); document.write(xslProc.output); } outputgroup(subject); } </script> </head> <body> <input type="text" id="txtField1"> <input type="submit" onClick="getDetails(); return false"> </body> </html> The file includes books2.xml and contains3books.xsl (I have put the code for these files at ...ww.eyle.org/books2.xml ...ww.eyle.org/contains3books.xsl) (NB: replace ...ww. with http: // www)

  • CSS rules not getting applied in JSPs ?

    - by lakshmanan
    Im building a web application using struts2. I have an authentication interceptor at the top of all the interceptors (I have set it up as such) which checks whether a user is logged in. If not, it will give a login page as result. In login page, I have some set of standard CSS rules which I use for all the JSPs in the app. But that login page coming via that interceptor is not getting applied with CSS rules. Don't know why. Here is my JSP login page. <%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" pageEncoding="ISO-8859-1"%> <%@ taglib prefix="s" uri="/struts-tags" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles/styles.css" type="text/css" /> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"> <title>Projit Login </title> </head> <body> <div id="header"> <h1>Projit</h1> </div> <div id="col1"> <s:form action="/login.action"> <s:textfield name="some field" label="Enter somefield" /> <s:textfield name="username" label="Username" /> <s:password name="password" label="Password" /> <s:submit value="Sign In" /> </s:form> </div> <div id="col2"> <h3>Login</h3> </div> <div id="footer"> some footer </div> </body> </html> the css file is present in WebContent/styles/styles.css I am using eclipse for development. this problem of CSS rules not getting applied occurs at times for other jsps as well inspite of the CSS file being present in the correct location. I guess there must be some URL thing behind this problem. I have tried hard but it is not working till now. Please help.

  • Problem with PHP 'PHP_SELF'

    - by shinjuo
    I am having a bit of trouble. It does not seem to be a big deal, but I have created a page that the user can edit a MySQL database. Once they click submit it should process the php within the if statement and echo 1 record updated. The problem is that it does not wait to echo the statement. It just seems to ignore the way I wrote my if and display the whole page. Can anyone see where I went wrong. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title></title> </head> <body> <form action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" method="post"> <?php require("serverInfo.php"); ?> <?php $res = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM cardLists order by cardID") or die(mysql_error()); echo "<select name = 'Cards'>"; while($row=mysql_fetch_assoc($res)) { echo "<option value=\"$row[cardID]\">$row[cardID]</option>"; } echo "</select>"; ?> Amount to Add: <input type="text" name="Add" /> <input type="submit" /> </form> <?php if(isset($_POST['submit'])); { require("serverInfo.php"); mysql_query("UPDATE `cardLists` SET `AmountLeft` = `AmountLeft` + ".mysql_real_escape_string($_POST['Add'])."   • Performance of tokenizing CSS in PHP

    - by Boldewyn
    This is a noob question from someone who hasn't written a parser/lexer ever before. I'm writing a tokenizer/parser for CSS in PHP (please don't repeat with 'OMG, why in PHP?'). The syntax is written down by the W3C neatly here (CSS2.1) and here (CSS3, draft). It's a list of 21 possible tokens, that all (but two) cannot be represented as static strings. My current approach is to loop through an array containing the 21 patterns over and over again, do an if (preg_match()) and reduce the source string match by match. In principle this works really good. However, for a 1000 lines CSS string this takes something between 2 and 8 seconds, which is too much for my project. Now I'm banging my head how other parsers tokenize and parse CSS in fractions of seconds. OK, C is always faster than PHP, but nonetheless, are there any obvious D'Oh! s that I fell into? I made some optimizations, like checking for '@', '#' or '"' as the first char of the remaining string and applying only the relevant regexp then, but this hadn't brought any great performance boosts. My code (snippet) so far: $TOKENS = array( 'IDENT' => '...regexp...', 'ATKEYWORD' => '@...regexp...', 'String' => '"...regexp..."|\'...regexp...\'', //... ); $string = '...CSS source string...'; $stream = array(); // we reduce $string token by token while ($string != '') { $string = ltrim($string, " \t\r\n\f"); // unconsumed whitespace at the // start is insignificant but doing a trim reduces exec time by 25% $matches = array(); // loop through all possible tokens foreach ($TOKENS as $t => $p) { // The '&' is used as delimiter, because it isn't used anywhere in // the token regexps if (preg_match('&^'.$p.'&Su', $string, $matches)) { $stream[] = array($t, $matches[0]); $string = substr($string, strlen($matches[0])); // Yay! We found one that matches! continue 2; } } // if we come here, we have a syntax error and handle it somehow } // result: an array $stream consisting of arrays with // 0 => type of token // 1 => token content

  • IE is ignoring Z-Index on positioned elements

    - by Mike
    IE yet again is proving to be the bane of my existence. The top of a site I'm working on has a horizontal menu, an item of which triggers a pure-CSS menu that is positioned absolute within the parent menu DIV (positioned relative). This places the menu perfectly in both IE and the W3C compliant browsers. The problem arises when I have more positioned elements further down on the page. These are also positioned relative, because there is data inside them that needs to be positioned absolute... again, this displays properly in all browsers I've tested it on. The problem is, that then the top menu is opened, part is obscured by the positioned elements further down the page - in effect, it's positioned BELOW these elements even though there are z-index properties defined on all. (in both the CSS file and inline). The only way to get IE to display this properly is to place the actual HTML for the menu at the bottom of the page, below (in DOM terms) the positioned elements elsewhere on the page. I would only do this as an absolute last resort. All Elements are the same type (div). Here is the relevant HTML: <div id='menu'> <div id='cat_menu' style='display:none;z-index:10000;'> <table cellspacing='0' cellpadding='0' class='brmenu' width='100%'> [data] </table> </div> <div class='product_new' style='z-index:20;'>[data]</div> <div class='product_listing' style='background-color:#FFFFFF;'>[data]</div> And the relevant CSS: div#menu { height: 26px; padding: 0; position: relative; } div#cat_menu { position: absolute; top: 25px; left: 115px; width: 300px; z-index: 1000; } div.product_new { background-image: url("/images/sp_images.png"); background-position: 0 -108px; background-repeat: no-repeat; padding 0px; height: 40px; font-size: 9pt; margin-top: 5px; position: relative; z-index: 20; }

  • Why facelets ignore href-attribute of a link when I use <a href="url" jsfc="h:outputLink"> ?

    - by Roman
    I have next facelet composition: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"> <body> <ui:composition> <ul id="navigation"> <li> <a href="http://google.com" id="google1" jsfc="h:outputLink">google.com</a> </li> <li> <h:outputLink id="google2" value="http://google.com"> <h:outputText id="outputtext" value="google.com"/> </h:outputLink> </li> </ul> </ui:composition> </body> </html> There must be a mistake because what I expected to see is almost the same final html-markup. But actually here is what facelets generated: <ul id="navigation"> <li><a id="google1" name="google1" href="">google.com</a></li> <li><a id="google2" name="google2" href="http://google.com"><span id="outputtext">google.com</span></a> </li> </ul> Why it ignored href attribute of the first link? What is the correct way to do what I'm trying to do? One more additional question: if I'm using jsfc everywhere I can then what should I do with components from f: namespace? Where should be <f:view> placed? Maybe in the template.xhtml? Or I should simply ignore it?

Any info on this would be great. import org.w3c.dom.Document; import org.xml.sax.SAXException; import javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory; import javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilder; import javax.xml.parsers.ParserConfigurationException; import javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory; import javax.xml.xpath.XPath; import javax.xml.xpath.XPathExpressionException; import java.io.ByteArrayInputStream; import java.io.IOException; public class test { public static void main(String args[]) { String xmlStr = "<aws:UrlInfoResponse xmlns:aws=\"http://alexa.amazonaws.com/doc/2005-10-05/\">\n" + " <aws:Response xmlns:aws=\"http://awis.amazonaws.com/doc/2005-07-11\">\n" + " <aws:OperationRequest>\n" + " <aws:RequestId>blah</aws:RequestId>\n" + " </aws:OperationRequest>\n" + " <aws:UrlInfoResult>\n" + " <aws:Alexa>\n" + " <aws:TrafficData>\n" + " <aws:DataUrl type=\"canonical\">harvard.edu/</aws:DataUrl>\n" + " <aws:Rank>1635</aws:Rank>\n" + " </aws:TrafficData>\n" + " </aws:Alexa>\n" + " </aws:UrlInfoResult>\n" + " <aws:ResponseStatus xmlns:aws=\"http://alexa.amazonaws.com/doc/2005-10-05/\">\n" + " <aws:StatusCode>Success</aws:StatusCode>\n" + " </aws:ResponseStatus>\n" + " </aws:Response>\n" + "</aws:UrlInfoResponse>"; DocumentBuilderFactory xmlFact = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance(); xmlFact.setNamespaceAware(true); DocumentBuilder builder = null; try { builder = xmlFact.newDocumentBuilder(); } catch (ParserConfigurationException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } Document doc = null; try { doc = builder.parse( new ByteArrayInputStream( xmlStr.getBytes())); } catch (SAXException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } System.out.println(doc.getDocumentElement().getNamespaceURI()); System.out.println(xmlFact.isNamespaceAware()); String xpathStr = "//aws:OperationRequest"; XPathFactory xpathFact = XPathFactory.newInstance(); XPath xpath = xpathFact.newXPath(); String result = null; try { result = xpath.evaluate(xpathStr, doc); } catch (XPathExpressionException e) { e.printStackTrace(); //To change body of catch statement use File | Settings | File Templates. } System.out.println("XPath result is \"" + result + "\""); } }

  • ASP.NET AJAX Doesnt Work

  • How to add a chart created in code behind to the rendered html page?

  • Menu Control in Master Page fails to use CSS styles

    - by Shaun
    I'm working on a web application that uses ASP.NET 3.5 and C#. Structurally, I have a master page with a menu control on it. The control serves as my navigation, and it gets its items from a SiteMapDataSource control and a corresponding Web.sitemap file. The problem is that some styles do not render properly when you specify the CssClass property. More specifically, the selected and hover styles don't respond to css styles. Consider the code below: <%@ Master Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Site.master.cs" Inherits="Site" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.or/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head runat="server"> <title>A webpage</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <div id="page"> <asp:Menu ID="navMenu" Orientation="Horizontal" StaticMenuStyle-CssClass="staticMenu" StaticMenuItemStyle-CssClass="staticMenuItem" StaticSelectedStyle-CssClass="staticSelectedItem" StaticHoverStyle-CssClass="staticHoverItem" runat="server"> </asp:Menu> <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="srcSiteMap" runat="server" ShowStartingNode="false" /> <br /> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder id="ContentPlaceHolder1" runat="server"> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </div> </form> </body> </html> Suppose I had a corresponding .css file with the following: .staticMenuItem { background-color:Red; } .staticSelectedItem { background-color:Green; } .staticHoverItem { background-color:Blue; } What will happen is that my item backgrounds will properly be red, but my selected item will not be green and the item I'm hovering my mouse over will not be blue. This seems true regardless of whether or not I include the style in the head of the master page or in an external file in default theme as specified in the web.config file. If I specify the styles in the asp.net xml like so: <asp:Menu ID="navMenu" Orientation="Horizontal" runat="server"> <StaticSelectedStyle BackColor="Green" Font-Underline="True" Font-Bold="True" /> <StaticHoverStyle BackColor="Gray" /> </asp:Menu> It appears to work properly in Firefox, but the style is never embedded in the html in Internet Explorer. Odd. Does anybody have any insight into what is causing this problem and how to neatly work around it? I'm aware I might be able to programmically determine the current page and select the corresponding menu item manually so it receives the proper style class, but before I resort to hacking C# and Javascript together to fix this functionality, I'm open to ideas.

  • IE8 web slice - CSS problem

    - by rjovic
    Again me with IE8 web slice :) This time i have following problem. I created web slice for IE8 and created button for users where they can choice to add it to their browsers. Code is : <input class="add" type="button" value="Dodaj Xica web slice u IE8!" onclick='window.external.AddToFavoritesBar("http://localhost:51914/Home/GetWebSlice", "xica.rjovic.com", "slice");' /> There is everything fine, and web slice is added to IE8 and web page is displayed correct. But I have problem with CSS in web slice. I defined css in it, but when web slice i rendered there are only black fonts without any css properties. My web slice is defined as : <%@ Page Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > <head runat="server"> <title>GetWebSlice</title> <style type="text/css"> p {color: white; } body {background-color: blue; } .container {background-color: red;} </style> </head> <body> <div class="hslice container" id="xica"> <h2 class="entry-title container">Xica web slice</h2> <div class="entry-content"> <h2>Saldo : <b><%= ViewData["total"] %></b></h2> <p><%= ViewData["cardNumber"] %></p> <p>Status : <%= ViewData["status"] %></p> </div> </div> </body> </html> When I try to see web slice directly in my browser then everything is ok, and css is show as expected. Thank you...! EDIT : here is the picture of problem : http://www.deviantpics.com/share-2F10_4BD73E25.html

  • Why is zIndex not working from IE/Javascript?

    - by Vilx-
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" /> <title>Problem demo</title> </head> <body> <div style="background:red; position:relative;" id='div1'>1. <div style="background:lime; position: absolute; width: 300px;height: 300px; top: 3px; left: 30px" id="div2">3.</div> </div> <div style="background:blue;position:relative;color: white" id="div3">2.</div> <script type="text/javascript">/*<![CDATA[*/ window.onload= function() { // The container of the absolute DIV document.getElementById('div1').style.zIndex = 800; // The lowest DIV of all which obscures the absolute DIV document.getElementById('div2').style.zIndex = 1; // The absolute DIV document.getElementById('div3').style.zIndex = 1000; } /*]]>*/</script> </body> </html> In a nutshell, this script has two DIV elements with position:relative and the first of them has a third DIV with position:absolute in it. It's all set to run on IE-7 standards mode (I'm targeting IE7 and above). I know about the separate z-stacks of IE, so by default the third DIV should be beneath the second DIV. To fix this problem there is some Javascript which sets the z-orders of first and third DIV to 1000, and the z-order of the second DIV to 999. Unfortunately this does not help. If the z-indexes were set in markup, this would work, but why not from JS? Note: This problem does not exist in IE8 standards mode, but I'm targetting IE7, so I can't rely on that. Also, if you save this to your hard drive and then open it up, at first IE complains something about ActiveX and stuff. After you wave it away, everything works as expected. But if you refresh the page, the problem is there again.

  • Error in jquery attribute selector and IE6-7

    - by Guillermo Vasconcelos
    Hi, I'm trying to implement a JQuery script to process some areas inside an image map. I'm using $('area[shape="poly"]') as a selector to obtain the areas I'm interested in. It is working fine in IE8 and Firefox, but it is not selecting the elements in IE6 or IE7. This is a test page that shows this problem. I don't know if this is a JQuery bug or I am doing something wrong. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> //<![CDATA[ $(document).ready(function() { var areas = $('area[shape="poly"]'); alert('areas: ' + areas.length); }); //]]> </script> <title>Test</title> </head> <body> <img id="img1" src="nothing.gif" style="width:300px; height:300px; border: 2px solid black" usemap="#map1"/> <map id="map1"> <area shape="rect" title="rectArea" coords="126,112,231,217" alt=""/> <area shape="poly" title="polyArea1" coords="274,72,262,70,251,68,240,67,228,66,217,67,206,68,194,70,183,72,181,63,192,60,204,58,216,57,228,56,240,57,252,58,264,60,276,63" alt=""/> <area shape="poly" title="polyArea2" coords="241,194,235,193,228,193,222,193,216,194,196,119,204,117,212,116,220,115,228,115,237,115,245,116,253,117,261,119" alt=""/> </map> </body> </html> This is showing 2 in IE8 and Firefox and 0 in IE6-7 Thanks, Guillermo

  • IE8 rendering of local-files is wrong

    - by Eric
    It appears that IE8 is not rendering properly a local file: Consider this simple webpage: http://sayang.free.fr/ie8render.html (html code below) extracted from a w3c tutorial on opacity. Save it locally and display it again: the local file has no opacity! That's very annoying, especially when one wants to design complex pages on prototypes placed in local files. Do you have a solution to that ? <html> <head> <title>IE8 Local File</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" /> <meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache" /> <meta http-equiv="cache-control" content="no-cache" /> <meta http-equiv="expires" content="-1" /> <style type="text/css"> div.background { width: 500px; height: 250px; background: url(http://www.w3schools.com/css/klematis.jpg) repeat; border: 2px solid black; } div.transbox { width: 400px; height: 180px; margin: 30px 50px; background-color: #ffffff; border: 1px solid black; /* for IE */ filter:alpha(opacity=60); /* CSS3 standard */ opacity:0.6; } div.transbox p { margin: 30px 40px; font-weight: bold; color: #000000; } </style> </head> <body> <h2>Save this file locally and open it to see the difference</h2> <div class="background"> <div class="transbox"> <p>This is some text that is placed in the transparent box.   • PHP script loading took over 10 seconds

    - by Misiur
    My again. I've promised to not come back today, but I've got another trouble. http://www.misiur.com/me/ - it took over 10 seconds to load. Whole site code: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="pl" lang="pl"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>{site('title')}</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{site('themeDir')}/global.css" /> </head> <body> <div id="site"> <div id="footer"> <p>Site Managment System {site('version')} by <a href="http://www.misiur.com">Misiur</a>. Copyright &copy; 2010-{$currYear}.</p> </div> </div> </body> I think the trouble is in this piece of code: private function replaceFunc($subject) { foreach($this->func as $t) { preg_match_all('/\{'.$t.'\([a-zA-Z,\']+\)\}/i', $subject, $res); for($j = 0; $j < sizeof($res[0]); $j++) { preg_match('/\([a-zA-Z,\']+\)/i', $res[0][$j], $match); if($match > 0) { $prep = explode(", ", substr($match[0], 1, -1)); $args = array(); for($i = 0; $i < sizeof($prep); $i++) { $args[] = substr($prep[$i], 1, -1); } } else { $args = array(); } $subject = preg_replace('/\{'.$t.preg_quote($match[0]).'\}/i', call_user_func_array($t, $args), $subject); } } return $subject; } It has to find functions from array ($this-func), cut out arguments, and call function with them. I think that I've messed up. Help.
