• More SharePoint 2010 Expression Builders

  Introduction Following my last post, I decided to publish the whole set of expression builders that I use with SharePoint. For all who don’t know about expression builders, they allow us to employ a declarative approach, so that we don’t have to write code for “gluing” things together, like getting a value from the query string, the page’s underlying SPListItem or the current SPContext and assigning it to a control’s property. These expression builders are for some quite common scenarios, I use them quite often, and I hope you find them useful as well. SPContextExpression This expression builder allows us to specify an expression to be processed on the SPContext.Current property object.   I upgraded my computer from Vista Home Premium x64 to 7 x64. I was able to use the solitaire application for about 24 hours but since then it freezes when it tries to load. Specifically the program freezes with the title "Solitaire - Loading Resources... (Not Responding)". Any suggestions?

  If I type in domain.com and www.domain.com, they both show the same website, but show different urls in the address bar. I'd like visitors and search engines that just type "domain.com" to be redirected to "www.domain.com". I'm using IIS 7 on a godaddy hosting account. How do I redirect all requests for "domain.com" to "www.domain.com"? I have the default DNS setup, "domain.com" as my "A record" and the cname "www" points to my "A record".

I have found multiple suggestions on various websites where to download it from, but all of them lead to the same section of the IBM website which actually only has the Lotus Notes client, despite the page title. • 500 internal server error on certain page after a few hours

  I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error on a certain page of my site after a few hours of being up. I restart uWSGI instance with uwsgi --ini /home/metheuser/webapps/ers_portal/ers_portal_uwsgi.ini and it works again for a few hours. The rest of the site seems to be working. When I navigate to my_table, I am directed to the login page. But, I get the 500 error on my table page on login. I followed the instructions here to set up my nginx and uwsgi configs. That is, I have ers_portal_nginx.conf located i my app folder that is symlinked to /etc/nginx/conf.d/. • Is the Core i5 Processor from Intel like the Celerons of yesteryear?

  The title pretty much says it. I know that the Core i7's are Quad Core and Hyper-threaded (so 4 cores, and 8 logical), and the Core i5's are Quad Core as well but not Hyper-threaded, does this really make a difference? Or are the only people who are going to care are the ones who CPU intensive operations? I'm a developer, so I'm more concerned about hard drive speed most times than CPU speed. Any thoughts?

• Is there an IIS 7 Application Request Routing equivilent of Apache's ProxyPreserveHost?

  Title is basically it. I have tomcat running on localhost:8080 and I'm attempting to use IIS 7 with ARR to reverse proxy to it, which half works. The request is getting to tomcat but with the Host header of 127.0.0.1:8080, which the servlet is complaining about.
