What's the best way to force a user (or bot) to fill out a captcha after a specific number of failed login attempts? Does authlogic have a built in mechanism for recording how many consecutive failed attempts came from the same ip? I'd appreciate any help.

For example, they enter their favorite food: userid favorite food ------ ------------- 1 french fries 2 tacos 3 fish sticks 4 chipotle When I use Facebook Authentication, what identifier will I use for the userid? I'm assuming it's not name, since this would create duplicates. Is it just the person's Facebook ID? Also is the correct API to use for 3rd party websites 'Facebook Connect' or 'Facebook Authorization' or something else?

  We're getting the error "The user does not have permission to perform this action" during times of heavy load (regularly, when a trim job occurs). The error clears up when the service accessing sql server is restarted, so it's obviously not a real permissions problems. There's a possibility that the problem is occurring when we're trying to query dm_tran_active_transactions and sys.dm_tran_session_transactions. The ideal scenario is like this: The default parameter values are applied when the program is started.
