  • How do I parse JSON from a Java HTTPResponse?

    - by Joe Ludwig
    I have an HttpResponse object for a web request I just made. The response is in the JSON format, so I need to parse it. I can do it in an absurdly complex way, but it seems like there must be a better way. Is this really the best I can do? HttpResponse response; // some response object Reader in = new BufferedReader( new InputStreamReader(response.getEntity().getContent(), "UTF-8")); StringBuilder builder= new StringBuilder(); char[] buf = new char[1000]; int l = 0; while (l >= 0) { builder.append(buf, 0, l); l = in.read(buf); } JSONTokener tokener = new JSONTokener( builder.toString() ); JSONArray finalResult = new JSONArray( tokener ); I'm on Android if that makes any difference.

  • How to use Bouncy Castle lightweight API with AES and PBE

    - by Adrian
    I have a block of ciphertext that was created using the JCE algorithim "PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC". The provider is BouncyCastle. What I'd like to do it decrypt this ciphertext using the BouncyCastle lightweight API. I don't want to use JCE because that requires installing the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files. Documentation seems to be thin on the ground when it comes to using BC with PBE and AES. Here's what I have so far. The decryption code runs without exception but returns rubbish. The encryption code, String password = "qwerty"; String plainText = "hello world"; byte[] salt = generateSalt(); byte[] cipherText = encrypt(plainText, password.toCharArray(), salt); private static byte[] generateSalt() throws NoSuchAlgorithmException { byte salt[] = new byte[8]; SecureRandom saltGen = SecureRandom.getInstance("SHA1PRNG"); saltGen.nextBytes(salt); return salt; } private static byte[] encrypt(String plainText, char[] password, byte[] salt) throws NoSuchAlgorithmException, InvalidKeySpecException, NoSuchPaddingException, InvalidKeyException, InvalidAlgorithmParameterException, IllegalBlockSizeException, BadPaddingException { Security.addProvider(new BouncyCastleProvider()); PBEParameterSpec pbeParamSpec = new PBEParameterSpec(salt, 20); PBEKeySpec pbeKeySpec = new PBEKeySpec(password); SecretKeyFactory keyFac = SecretKeyFactory.getInstance("PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC"); SecretKey pbeKey = keyFac.generateSecret(pbeKeySpec); Cipher encryptionCipher = Cipher.getInstance("PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC"); encryptionCipher.init(Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, pbeKey, pbeParamSpec); return encryptionCipher.doFinal(plainText.getBytes()); } The decryption code, byte[] decryptedText = decrypt(cipherText, password.getBytes(), salt); private static byte[] decrypt(byte[] cipherText, byte[] password, byte[] salt) throws DataLengthException, IllegalStateException, InvalidCipherTextException, InvalidKeyException, NoSuchAlgorithmException, NoSuchPaddingException, IllegalBlockSizeException, BadPaddingException { BlockCipher engine = new AESEngine(); CBCBlockCipher cipher = new CBCBlockCipher(engine); PKCS5S1ParametersGenerator keyGenerator = new PKCS5S1ParametersGenerator(new SHA256Digest()); keyGenerator.init(password, salt, 20); CipherParameters keyParams = keyGenerator.generateDerivedParameters(256); cipher.init(false, keyParams); byte[] decryptedBytes = new byte[cipherText.length]; int numBytesCopied = cipher.processBlock(cipherText, 0, decryptedBytes, 0); return decryptedBytes; }

  • How can I load style resources from a dynamically loaded Silverlight application (XAP)?

    - by Tom
    I've followed Tim Heuer's video for dynamically loading other XAP's (into a 'master' Silverlight application), as well as some other links to tweak the loading of resources and am stuck on the particular issue of loading style resources from within the dynamically loaded XAP (i.e. the contents of Assets\Styles.xaml). When I run the master/hosting applcation, it successfully streams the dynamic XAP and I can read the deployment info etc. and load the assembly parts. However, when I actuall try to create an instance of a form from the Dynamic XAP, it fails with Cannot find a Resource with the Name/Key LayoutRootGridStyle which is in it's Assets\Styles.xaml file (it works if I run it directly so I know it's OK). For some reason these don't show up as application resources - not sure if I've totally got the wrong end of the stick, or am just missing something? Code snippet below (apologies it's a bit messy - just trying to get it working first) ... '' # Here's the code that reads the dynamic XAP from the web server ... '' #... wCli = New WebClient AddHandler wCli.OpenReadCompleted, AddressOf OpenXAPCompleted wCli.OpenReadAsync(New Uri("MyTest.xap", UriKind.Relative)) '' #... '' #Here's the sub that's called when openread is completed '' #... Private Sub OpenXAPCompleted(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Net.OpenReadCompletedEventArgs) Dim sManifest As String = New StreamReader(Application.GetResourceStream(New StreamResourceInfo(e.Result, Nothing), New Uri("AppManifest.xaml", UriKind.Relative)).Stream).ReadToEnd Dim deploymentRoot As XElement = XDocument.Parse(sManifest).Root Dim deploymentParts As List(Of XElement) = _ (From assemblyParts In deploymentRoot.Elements().Elements() Select assemblyParts).ToList() Dim oAssembly As Assembly = Nothing For Each xElement As XElement In deploymentParts Dim asmPart As AssemblyPart = New AssemblyPart() Dim source As String = xElement.Attribute("Source").Value Dim sInfo As StreamResourceInfo = Application.GetResourceStream(New StreamResourceInfo(e.Result, "application/binary"), New Uri(source, UriKind.Relative)) If source = "MyTest.dll" Then oAssembly = asmPart.Load(sInfo.Stream) Else asmPart.Load(sInfo.Stream) End If Next Dim t As Type() = oAssembly.GetTypes() Dim AppClass = (From parts In t Where parts.FullName.EndsWith(".App") Select parts).SingleOrDefault() Dim mykeys As Array If Not AppClass Is Nothing Then Dim a As Application = DirectCast(oAssembly.CreateInstance(AppClass.FullName), Application) For Each strKey As String In a.Resources.Keys If Not Application.Current.Resources.Contains(strKey) Then Application.Current.Resources.Add(strKey, a.Resources(strKey)) End If Next End If Dim objectType As Type = oAssembly.GetType("MyTest.MainPage") Dim ouiel = Activator.CreateInstance(objectType) Dim myData As UIElement = DirectCast(ouiel, UIElement) Me.splMain.Children.Add(myData) Me.splMain.UpdateLayout() End Sub '' #... '' # And here's the line that fails with "Cannot find a Resource with the Name/Key LayoutRootGridStyle" '' # ... System.Windows.Application.LoadComponent(Me, New System.Uri("/MyTest;component/MainPage.xaml", System.UriKind.Relative)) '' #... any thoughts?

  • Adding delegate with calendar access using Exchange Web Services?

    - by BryanG
    I have a set up where I need to add a delegate to various user calendars programmatically. Using a sample from MDSN, I've gotten as far as trying to add the delegate, but after the call to the service binding, I get nothing back...no success or fail....nothing. How I create the service binidng: // Initialize the service binding serviceBinding = new ExchangeServiceBinding(); serviceBinding.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(Properties.Settings.Default.UserName, Properties.Settings.Default.Password, Properties.Settings.Default.Domain); // A production application should call the autodiscover service to locate the service binding url serviceBinding.Url = Properties.Settings.Default.EWSUrlEndPoint; serviceBinding.RequestServerVersionValue = new RequestServerVersion(); serviceBinding.RequestServerVersionValue.Version = ExchangeVersionType.Exchange2007_SP1; serviceBinding.AllowAutoRedirect = true; and the delegate addition: static void AddDelegate(string email) { // Create the request. AddDelegateType request = new AddDelegateType(); // Identify the agent's mailbox. request.Mailbox = new EmailAddressType(); request.Mailbox.EmailAddress = email; // add the exch_integration user as a delegate request.DelegateUsers = new DelegateUserType[1]; request.DelegateUsers[0] = new DelegateUserType(); request.DelegateUsers[0].UserId = new UserIdType(); request.DelegateUsers[0].UserId.PrimarySmtpAddress = "[email protected]"; // Specify the permissions that are granted to exch_integration request.DelegateUsers[0].DelegatePermissions = new DelegatePermissionsType(); request.DelegateUsers[0].DelegatePermissions.CalendarFolderPermissionLevel = DelegateFolderPermissionLevelType.Author; request.DelegateUsers[0].DelegatePermissions.CalendarFolderPermissionLevelSpecified = true; // Specify whether the agent recieves meeting requests. request.DeliverMeetingRequests = DeliverMeetingRequestsType.DelegatesAndSendInformationToMe; request.DeliverMeetingRequestsSpecified = true; try { // Send the request and get the response. AddDelegateResponseMessageType response = serviceBinding.AddDelegate(request); DelegateUserResponseMessageType[] responseMessages = response.ResponseMessages; // One DelegateUserResponseMessageType exists for each attempt to add a delegate user to an account. foreach (DelegateUserResponseMessageType user in responseMessages) { Console.WriteLine("Results of adding user: " + user.ResponseClass.ToString()); Console.WriteLine(user.DelegateUser.UserId.DisplayName); Console.WriteLine(user.DelegateUser.UserId.PrimarySmtpAddress); Console.WriteLine(user.DelegateUser.UserId.SID); } Console.ReadLine(); } catch (Exception e) { Console.WriteLine(e.Message); Console.ReadLine(); } } The response nothing which must mean that the AddDelegate call isn't hitting the server properly, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

  • Equals method of System.Collections.Generic.List<T>...?

    - by Sambo
    I'm creating a class that derives from List... public class MyList : List<MyListItem> {} I've overridden Equals of MyListItem... public override bool Equals(object obj) { MyListItem li = obj as MyListItem; return (ID == li.ID); // ID is a property of MyListItem } I would like to have an Equals method in the MyList object too which will compare each item in the list, calling Equals() on each MyListItem object. It would be nice to simply call... MyList l1 = new MyList() { new MyListItem(1), new MyListItem(2) }; MyList l2 = new MyList() { new MyListItem(1), new MyListItem(2) }; if (l1 == l2) { ... } ...and have the comparisons of the list done by value. What's the best way...?

  • Custom ViewEngine problem with ASP.NET MVC

    - by mare
    In this question jfar answered with his solution the problem is it does not work for me. In the method FindView() I have to somehow check if the View we are requesting is a ViewUserControl. Because otherwise I get an error saying: "A master name cannot be specified when the view is a ViewUserControl." This is my custom view engine code right now: public class PendingViewEngine : VirtualPathProviderViewEngine { public PendingViewEngine() { // This is where we tell MVC where to look for our files. /* {0} = view name or master page name * {1} = controller name */ MasterLocationFormats = new[] {"~/Views/Shared/{0}.master", "~/Views/{0}.master"}; ViewLocationFormats = new[] { "~/Views/{1}/{0}.aspx", "~/Views/Shared/{0}.aspx", "~/Views/Shared/{0}.ascx", "~/Views/{1}/{0}.ascx" }; PartialViewLocationFormats = new[] {"~/Views/{1}/{0}.ascx", "~/Views/Shared/{0}.ascx"}; } protected override IView CreatePartialView(ControllerContext controllerContext, string partialPath) { return new WebFormView(partialPath, ""); } protected override IView CreateView(ControllerContext controllerContext, string viewPath, string masterPath) { return new WebFormView(viewPath, masterPath); } public override ViewEngineResult FindView(ControllerContext controllerContext, string viewName, string masterName, bool useCache) { if (controllerContext.HttpContext.Request.IsAjaxRequest()) return base.FindView(controllerContext, viewName, "Modal", useCache); return base.FindView(controllerContext, viewName, "Site", useCache); } } The above ViewEngine fails on calls like this: <% Html.RenderAction("Display", "WidgetZoneV2", new { zoneslug = "left-default-zone" }); %> As you can see, I am providing Route values to my RenderAction call. The action I am rendering here is this: // Widget zone name is unique // GET: /WidgetZoneV2/{zoneslug} public ActionResult Display(string zoneslug) { zoneslug = Utility.RemoveIllegalCharacters(zoneslug); // Displaying widget zone creates new widget zone if it does not exist yet; so it prepares our page for // dropping of content widgets WidgetZone zone; if (!_repository.IsUniqueSlug(zoneslug)) zone = (WidgetZone) _repository.GetInstance(zoneslug); else { // replace slug with spaces to convert it into Title zone = new WidgetZone {Slug = zoneslug, Title = zoneslug.Replace('-', ' '), WidgetsList = new ContentList()}; _repository.Insert(zone); } ViewData["ContentItemsList"] = _repository.GetContentItems(); return View("WidgetZoneV2", zone); } I cannot use RenderPartial (at least I don't know how) the way I can RenderAction. To my knowledge there is no way to provide RouteValueDictionary to RenderPartial() like the way you can to RenderAction().

  • JScrollPane and JList auto scroll

    - by dododedodonl
    Hi All, I've got the next code: listModel = new DefaultListModel(); listModel.addElement(dateFormat.format(new Date()) + ": Msg1"); messageList = new JList(listModel); messageList.setLayoutOrientation(JList.VERTICAL); messageScrollList = new JScrollPane(messageList); messageScrollList.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(500, 200)); messageScrollList.getVerticalScrollBar().addAdjustmentListener(new AdjustmentListener() { public void adjustmentValueChanged(AdjustmentEvent e) { e.getAdjustable().setValue(e.getAdjustable().getMaximum()); } }); It auto scrolls down. But, if I try to scroll back up to re-read a message, it forces a scroll down. How can I fix this?

  • Problem showing modelstate errors while using RenderPartialToString

    - by Martin
    Im using the following code: public string RenderPartialToString(ControllerContext context, string partialViewName, ViewDataDictionary viewData, TempDataDictionary tempData) { ViewEngineResult result = ViewEngines.Engines.FindPartialView(context, partialViewName); if (result.View != null) { StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); using (StringWriter sw = new StringWriter(sb)) { using (HtmlTextWriter output = new HtmlTextWriter(sw)) { ViewContext viewContext = new ViewContext(context, result.View, viewData, tempData, output); result.View.Render(viewContext, output); } } return sb.ToString(); } return String.Empty; } To return a partial view and a form through JSON. It works as it should, but as soon as I get modelstate errors my ValidationSummary does not show. The JSON only return the default form but it does not highlight the validation errors or show the validation summary. Am I missing something? This is how I call the RenderPartialToString: string partialView = RenderPartialToString(this.ControllerContext, "~/Areas/User/Views/Account/ChangeAccountDetails.ascx", new ViewDataDictionary(avd), new TempDataDictionary());

  • Sharing cookies/session from WebView to HttpClient doesn't work

    - by Toni Kanoni
    I know this question has been asked a hundred times, and I've read and tried for 2 hours now, but I can't find my error :-( I am trying to create a simple webbrowser and therefore have a webview, where I login on a site and get access to a picture area. With help of a DefaultHttpClient, I want to make it possible to download pictures in the secured area. Therefore I am trying to share the cookies from the webview and pass them on to the HttpClient, so that it is authenticated and able to download. But whatever I try and do, I always get a 403 response back... Basically the steps are the following: 1) Enter URL, webview loads website 2) Enter login details in a form 3) Navigate to picture and long hold for context menu 4) Retrieve the image URL and pass it on to AsynTask for downloading Here's the code of the AsyncTask with the Cookie stuff: protected String doInBackground(String... params) { //params[0] is the URL of the image try { CookieManager cookieManager = CookieManager.getInstance(); String c = cookieManager.getCookie(new URL(params[0]).getHost()); BasicCookieStore cookieStore = new BasicCookieStore(); BasicHttpContext localContext = new BasicHttpContext(); localContext.setAttribute(ClientContext.COOKIE_STORE, cookieStore); String[] cookieParts = null; String cookies[] = null; cookies = c.split(";"); for(int i=0;i<cookies.length;i++) { cookieParts = cookies[i].split("="); BasicClientCookie sessionCookie = new BasicClientCookie(cookieParts[0].trim(), cookieParts[1].trim()); sessionCookie.setDomain(new URL(params[0]).getHost()); cookieStore.addCookie(sessionCookie); } DefaultHttpClient httpClient = new DefaultHttpClient(); httpClient.setCookieStore(cookieStore); HttpGet pageGet = new HttpGet(new URL(params[0]).toURI()); HttpResponse response = httpClient.execute(pageGet, localContext); if(response.getStatusLine().getStatusCode() == HttpStatus.SC_OK) -- NEVER Happens, always get 403 .) One of the problems is that the webview saves some cookies for the host *www.*example.com, but the image-URL to download (params[0]) is *static.*example.com. The line cookieManager.getCookie(new URL(params[0]).getHost()); returns null, because there is no cookie for static.example.com, but only for www.example.com. .) When I manually say cookieManager.getCookie("www.example.com"); I get some cookies back, which I add to the HttpClient cookie store: There are 5 cookies added - testcookie = 0 - PHPSESSID = 320947238someGibberishSessionId - email = [email protected] - pass = 32423te32someEncodedPassGibberish - user = 345542 So although these cookies, a session ID and other stuff, get added to the HttpClient, it never get's through to download an image. Im totally lost... though I guess that it either has something to do with the cookies domains, or that Im still missing other cookies. But from where the heck should I know which cookies exist in the webview, when I have to specify a specific URL to get a cookie back?? :-( Any advice?

  • Programmatically creating a toolbar in WPF

    - by rwallace
    I'm trying to create a simple toolbar in WPF, but the toolbar shows up with no corresponding buttons on it, just a very thin blank white strip. Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or what the recommended procedure is? Relevant code fragments so far: var tb = new ToolBar(); var b = new Button(); b.Command = comback; Image myImage = new Image(); myImage.Source = new BitmapImage(new Uri("back.png", UriKind.Relative)); b.Content = myImage; tb.Items.Add(b); var p = new DockPanel(); //DockPanel.SetDock(mainmenu, Dock.Top); DockPanel.SetDock(tb, Dock.Top); DockPanel.SetDock(sb, Dock.Bottom); //p.Children.Add(mainmenu); p.Children.Add(tb); p.Children.Add(sb); Content = p;

  • Mouse wheel not scrolling in JDialog but working in JFrame

    - by Iulian Serbanoiu
    Hello, I'm facing a frustrating issue. I have an application where the scroll wheel doesn't work in a JDialog window (but works in a JFrame). Here's the code: import javax.swing.*; import java.awt.event.*; public class Failtest extends JFrame { public static void main(String[] args) { new Failtest(); } public Failtest() { super(); setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE); setTitle("FRAME"); JScrollPane sp1 = new JScrollPane(getNewList()); add(sp1); setSize(150, 150); setVisible(true); JDialog d = new JDialog(this, false);// NOT WORKING //JDialog d = new JDialog((JFrame)null, false); // NOT WORKING //JDialog d = new JDialog((JDialog)null, false);// WORKING - WHY? d.setTitle("DIALOG"); d.setDefaultCloseOperation(JDialog.DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE); JScrollPane sp = new JScrollPane(getNewList()); d.add(sp); d.setSize(150, 150); d.setVisible(true); } public JList getNewList() { String objs[] = new String[30]; for(int i=0; i<objs.length; i++) { objs[i] = "Item "+i; } JList l = new JList(objs); return l; } } I found a solution which is present as a comment in the java code - the constructor receiving a (JDialog)null parameter. Can someone enlighten me? My opinion is that this is a java bug. Tested on Windows XP-SP3 with 1 JDK and 2 JREs: D:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17\bin>javac -version javac 1.6.0_17 D:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17\bin>java -version java version "1.6.0_17" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_17-b04) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 14.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing) D:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17\bin>cd .. D:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17>java -version java version "1.6.0_18" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_18-b07) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 16.0-b13, mixed mode, sharing) Thank you in advance, Iulian Serbanoiu PS: The problem is not new - the code is taken from a forum (here) where this problem was also mentioned - but no solutions to it (yet) LATER EDIT: The problem persists with jre/jdk_1.6.0_10, 1.6.0_16 also LATER EDIT 2: Back home, tested on linux (Ubuntu - lucid/lynx) - both with openjdk and sun-java from distribution repo and it works (I used the .class file compiled on Windows) !!! - so I believe I'm facing a JRE bug that happens on some Windows configurations.

  • C# file Decryption - Bad Data

    - by Jon
    Hi all, I am in the process of rewriting an old application. The old app stored data in a scoreboard file that was encrypted with the following code: private const String SSecretKey = @"?B?n?Mj?"; public DataTable GetScoreboardFromFile() { FileInfo f = new FileInfo(scoreBoardLocation); if (!f.Exists) { return setupNewScoreBoard(); } DESCryptoServiceProvider DES = new DESCryptoServiceProvider(); //A 64 bit key and IV is required for this provider. //Set secret key For DES algorithm. DES.Key = ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetBytes(SSecretKey); //Set initialization vector. DES.IV = ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetBytes(SSecretKey); //Create a file stream to read the encrypted file back. FileStream fsread = new FileStream(scoreBoardLocation, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read); //Create a DES decryptor from the DES instance. ICryptoTransform desdecrypt = DES.CreateDecryptor(); //Create crypto stream set to read and do a //DES decryption transform on incoming bytes. CryptoStream cryptostreamDecr = new CryptoStream(fsread, desdecrypt, CryptoStreamMode.Read); DataTable dTable = new DataTable("scoreboard"); dTable.ReadXml(new StreamReader(cryptostreamDecr)); cryptostreamDecr.Close(); fsread.Close(); return dTable; } This works fine. I have copied the code into my new app so that I can create a legacy loader and convert the data into the new format. The problem is I get a "Bad Data" error: System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException was unhandled Message="Bad Data.\r\n" Source="mscorlib" The error fires at this line: dTable.ReadXml(new StreamReader(cryptostreamDecr)); The encrypted file was created today on the same machine with the old code. I guess that maybe the encryption / decryption process uses the application name / file or something and therefore means I can not open it. Does anyone have an idea as to: A) Be able explain why this isn't working? B) Offer a solution that would allow me to be able to open files that were created with the legacy application and be able to convert them please? Thank you

  • Behaviour of insertion trigger when defining autoincrement in Oracle

    - by Genba
    I have been looking for a way to define an autoincrement data type in Oracle and have found these questions on Stack Overflow: Autoincrement in Oracle Autoincrement Primary key in Oracle database The way to use autoincrement types consists in defining a sequence and a trigger to make insertion transparent, where the insertion trigger looks so: create trigger mytable_trg before insert on mytable for each row when (new.id is null) begin select myseq.nextval into :new.id from dual; end; I have some doubts about the behaviour of this trigger: What does this trigger do when the supplied value of "id" is different from NULL? What does the colon before "new" mean? I want the trigger to insert the new row with the next value of the sequence as ID whatever the supplied value of "new.id" is. I imagine that the WHEN statement makes the trigger to only insert the new row if the supplied ID is NULL (and it will not insert, or will fail, otherwise). Could I just remove the WHEN statement in order for the trigger to always insert using the next value of the sequence?

  • Asp.net RenderControl method not rendering autopostback for dropdownlist

    - by Tanya
    Hi all, i am bit confused as to why asp.net does not render a dropdownlist with the autopostback property set to true when using the RenderControl method. eg Dim sw As New IO.StringWriter Dim tw As New HtmlTextWriter(sw) Dim table As New Table table.Rows.Add(New TableRow) Dim tr As TableRow = table.Rows(0) tr.Cells.Add(New TableCell) Dim tc As TableCell = tr.Cells(0) Dim ddlMyValues As New DropDownList ddlMyValues.ID = "ddl1" ddlMyValues.Items.Add("Test1") ddlMyValues.Items.Add("Test2") ddlMyValues.Items.Add("Test3") ddlMyValues.AutoPostBack = True tc.Controls.Add(ddlMyValues) table.RenderControl(tw) Debug.WriteLine(sw.ToString) my output renders the dropdown list without the onchange="javascript:setTimeout('__doPostBack(\ddl1\',\'\')', 0)" that is generated by asp.net when using the dropdownlist normally. • Error "More than one matching bindings are available" when using Ninject.Web.Mvc 2.0 and ASP.NET MVC

    - by Cray
    Hello all, Recently I've switched to Ninject 2.0 release and started getting the following error: Error occured: Error activating SomeController More than one matching bindings are available. Activation path: 1) Request for SomeController Suggestions: 1) Ensure that you have defined a binding for SomeController only once. However, I'm unable to find certain reproduction path. Sometimes it occurs, sometimes it does not. I'm using NinjectHttpApplication for automatic controllers injection. Controllers are defined in separate assembly: public class App : NinjectHttpApplication { protected override IKernel CreateKernel() { INinjectModule[] modules = new INinjectModule[] { new MiscModule(), new ProvidersModule(), new RepositoryModule(), new ServiceModule() }; return new StandardKernel(modules); } protected override void OnApplicationStarted() { RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes); RegisterAllControllersIn("Sample.Mvc"); base.OnApplicationStarted(); } /* ............. */ } Maybe someone is familiar with this error. Any advice?

  • C# bluetooth file send.

    - by cheesebunz
    i'm new to bluetooth development and i found the 32netfeet . Right now i'm able to search for bluetooth devices nearby and connect to them but how do i send a file e.g SendTest.txt? I tried buttonclick event using the OBEX but i don't understand this is my example code: using InTheHand.Net; using InTheHand.Net.Sockets; using InTheHand.Net.Bluetooth; namespace BluetoothIntheHand { public partial class Form2 : Form { private Guid service = BluetoothService.DialupNetworking; private BluetoothClient bluetoothClient; public Form2() { InitializeComponent(); } private void btnSearch_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { BluetoothRadio.PrimaryRadio.Mode = RadioMode.Discoverable; BluetoothRadio myRadio = BluetoothRadio.PrimaryRadio; lblSearch.Text = "" + myRadio.LocalAddress.ToString(); bluetoothClient = new BluetoothClient(); Cursor.Current = Cursors.WaitCursor; BluetoothDeviceInfo[] bluetoothDeviceInfo = { }; bluetoothDeviceInfo = bluetoothClient.DiscoverDevices(10); comboBox1.DataSource = bluetoothDeviceInfo; comboBox1.DisplayMember = "DeviceName"; comboBox1.ValueMember = "DeviceAddress"; comboBox1.Focus(); Cursor.Current = Cursors.Default; } private void btnConnect_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (comboBox1.SelectedValue != null) { try { bluetoothClient.Connect(new BluetoothEndPoint((BluetoothAddress)comboBox1.SelectedValue, service)); MessageBox.Show("Connected"); } catch (Exception ex) { MessageBox.Show(ex.Message); } } } private void btnSend_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { bluetoothClient.Connect(new BluetoothEndPoint((BluetoothAddress)comboBox1.SelectedValue, service)); String addr = "112233445566"; Uri uri = new Uri("obex://"+@"SendTest.txt"); ObexWebRequest req= new ObexWebRequest(uri); ObexWebResponse rsp; } I found the guide but don't really knw hw to convert to C# ' The host part of the URI is the device address, e.g. IrDAAddress.ToString(), ' and the file part is the OBEX object name. Dim addr As String = "112233445566" Dim uri As New Uri("obex://" & addr & "/HelloWorld2.txt") Dim req As New ObexWebRequest(uri) Using content As Stream = req.GetRequestStream() ' Using a StreamWriter to write text to the stream... Using wtr As New StreamWriter(content) wtr.WriteLine("Hello World GetRequestStream") wtr.WriteLine("Hello World GetRequestStream 2") wtr.Flush() ' Set the Length header value req.ContentLength = content.Length End Using ' In this case closing the StreamWriter also closed the Stream, but ... End Using Dim rsp As ObexWebResponse = CType(req.GetResponse(),ObexWebResponse) Console.WriteLine("Response Code: {0} (0x{0:X})", rsp.StatusCode)

  • Run bat file in Java and wait 2

    - by Savvas Dalkitsis
    This is a followup question to my other question : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2434125/run-bat-file-in-java-and-wait The reason i am posting this as a separate question is that the one i already asked was answered correctly. From some research i did my problem is unique to my case so i decided to create a new question. Please go read that question before continuing with this one as they are closely related. Running the proposed code blocks the program at the waitFor invocation. After some research i found that the waitFor method blocks if your process has output that needs to be proccessed so you should first empty the output stream and the error stream. I did those things but my method still blocks. I then found a suggestion to simply loop while waiting the exitValue method to return the exit value of the process and handle the exception thrown if it is not, pausing for a brief moment as well so as not to consume all the CPU. I did this: import java.io.BufferedReader; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.InputStreamReader; public class Test { public static void main(String[] args) { try { Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec( "cmd /k start SQLScriptsToRun.bat" + " -UuserName -Ppassword" + " projectName"); final BufferedReader input = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(p.getInputStream())); final BufferedReader error = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(p.getErrorStream())); new Thread(new Runnable() { @Override public void run() { try { while (input.readLine()!=null) {} } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } }).start(); new Thread(new Runnable() { @Override public void run() { try { while (error.readLine()!=null) {} } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } }).start(); int i = 0; boolean finished = false; while (!finished) { try { i = p.exitValue(); finished = true; } catch (IllegalThreadStateException e) { e.printStackTrace(); try { Thread.sleep(500); } catch (InterruptedException e1) { e1.printStackTrace(); } } } System.out.println(i); } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } } } but my process will not end! I keep getting this error: java.lang.IllegalThreadStateException: process has not exited Any ideas as to why my process will not exit? Or do you have any libraries to suggest that handle executing batch files properly and wait until the execution is finished?

  • Connecting to a WSE 3.0 Web Service From a WCF Client

    - by Dave
    I'm having difficulty connecting to a 3rd party WSE 3.0 web service from a WCF client. I have implemented the custom binding class as indicated in this KB article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms734745.aspx The problem seems to have to do with the security assertion used by the web service - UsernameOverTransport. When I attempt to call a method, I get the following exception: System.InvalidOperationException: The 'WseHttpBinding'.'[namespace]' binding for the 'MyWebServiceSoap'.'[namespace]' contract is configured with an authentication mode that requires transport level integrity and confidentiality. However the transport cannot provide integrity and confidentiality.. It is expecting a username, password, and CN number. In the example code supplied to us by the vendor, these credentials are bundled in a Microsoft.Web.Services3.Security.Tokens.UsernameToken. Here's the example supplied by the vendor: MyWebServiceWse proxy = new MyWebServiceWse(); UsernameToken token = new UsernameToken("Username", "password", PasswordOption.SendPlainText); token.Id = "<supplied CN Number>"; proxy.SetClientCredential(token); proxy.SetPolicy(new Policy(new UsernameOverTransportAssertion(), new RequireActionHeaderAssertion())); MyObject mo = proxy.MyMethod(); This works fine from a 2.0 app w/ WSE 3.0 installed. Here is a snippet of the code from my WCF client: EndpointAddress address = new EndpointAddress(new Uri("<web service uri here>")); WseHttpBinding binding = new WseHttpBinding(); // This is the custom binding I created per the MS KB article binding.SecurityAssertion = WseSecurityAssertion.UsernameOverTransport; binding.EstablishSecurityContext = false; // Not sure about the value of either of these next two binding.RequireDerivedKeys = true; binding.MessageProtectionOrder = MessageProtectionOrder.SignBeforeEncrypt; MembershipServiceSoapClient proxy = new MembershipServiceSoapClient(binding, address); // This is where I believe the problem lies – I can’t seem to properly setup the security credentials the web service is expecting proxy.ClientCredentials.UserName.UserName = "username"; proxy.ClientCredentials.UserName.Password = "pwd"; // How do I supply the CN number? MyObject mo = proxy.MyMethod(); // this throws the exception I've scoured the web looking for an answer to this question. Some sources get me close (like the MS KB article), but I can't seem to get over the hump. Can someone help me out?

  • Blackberry custom OVERLAY horizontal menu

    - by Dachmt
    Thanks to Max in this post, I made an horizontal menu. But now I'm trying to make an overlay menu, i I don't find how to do that... Let's see what i got first. So, I have a class MapScreen which display my map: public class MapScreen extends MenuScreen Then, I have in the same file the MenuScreen class like this that allows to display the horizontal menu when I press the MENU key: abstract class MenuScreen extends MainScreen { boolean mMenuEnabled = false; CyclicHFManager mMenuManager = null; public MenuScreen() { mMenuManager = new CyclicHFManager(); mMenuManager.setBorder(BorderFactory.createBevelBorder(new XYEdges(4, 0, 0, 0), new XYEdges(Color.DARKBLUE, 0, 0, 0), new XYEdges( Color.WHITE, 0, 0, 0))); mMenuManager.setBackground(BackgroundFactory .createLinearGradientBackground(Color.DARKBLUE, Color.DARKBLUE, Color.LIGHTBLUE, Color.LIGHTBLUE)); for (int i = 0; i < 10; i++) { Bitmap nBitmap = new Bitmap(60, 60); Graphics g = new Graphics(nBitmap); g.setColor(Color.DARKBLUE); g.fillRect(0, 0, 60, 60); g.setColor(Color.WHITE); g.drawRect(0, 0, 60, 60); Font f = g.getFont().derive(Font.BOLD, 40); g.setFont(f); String text = String.valueOf(i); g.drawText(text, (60 - f.getAdvance(text)) >> 1, (60 - f .getHeight()) >> 1); Bitmap fBitmap = new Bitmap(60, 60); g = new Graphics(fBitmap); g.setColor(Color.DARKBLUE); g.fillRect(0, 0, 60, 60); g.setColor(Color.GOLD); g.drawRect(0, 0, 60, 60); g.setFont(f); g.drawText(text, (60 - f.getAdvance(text)) >> 1, (60 - f .getHeight()) >> 1); BitmapButtonField button = new BitmapButtonField(nBitmap, fBitmap); button.setCookie(String.valueOf(i)); button.setPadding(new XYEdges(0, 18, 0, 18)); button.setChangeListener(new FieldChangeListener() { public void fieldChanged(Field field, int context) { Dialog.inform("Button # " + (String) field.getCookie()); } }); mMenuManager.add(button); } } protected boolean keyDown(int keycode, int time) { if (Keypad.KEY_MENU == Keypad.key(keycode)) { if (mMenuManager.getManager() != null) { delete(mMenuManager); mMenuManager.mCyclicTurnedOn = false; } else { add(mMenuManager); mMenuManager.getField(2).setFocus(); mMenuManager.mCyclicTurnedOn = true; } return true; } else { return super.keyDown(keycode, time); } }} And finally my menu manager: public class CyclicHFManager extends HorizontalFieldManager { int mFocusedFieldIndex = 0; public boolean mCyclicTurnedOn = false; public void focusChangeNotify(int arg0) { super.focusChangeNotify(arg0); if (mCyclicTurnedOn) { int focusedFieldIndexNew = getFieldWithFocusIndex(); if (focusedFieldIndexNew != mFocusedFieldIndex) { if (focusedFieldIndexNew - mFocusedFieldIndex > 0) switchField(0, getFieldCount() - 1); else switchField(getFieldCount() - 1, 0); } } else { mFocusedFieldIndex = getFieldWithFocusIndex(); } } private void switchField(int prevIndex, int newIndex) { Field field = getField(prevIndex); delete(field); insert(field, newIndex); }} So as it is like this, it is working: when I press the MENU key, the menu appears, i can navigate between buttons, and it disappear when I press again the same key. The only problem is my menu isn't overlaying my map, it pushes the content up. I tried with the menu manager like in your first response, resizing the content manager but it is the same result. Max gave me the link http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1497073/blackberry-fields-layout-animation to do so, but I really don't know how to use it to make it work in my project... Thank you for your help! UPDATE This works great, it's what I wanted. However, I still have a problem because I'm under 4.5. So first in the MenuHostManager constructor, I deleted the USE_ALL_HEIGHT and change setPositionChild(mMenuManager, 0, Display.getHeight() - mMenuManager.getPreferredHeight()); like this to have the menu at the bottom of the screen. It worked. Then, instead of drawing my bitmaps, I did this: Bitmap nBitmap = EncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("menu" + i + ".png").getBitmap(); BitmapButtonField button = new BitmapButtonField(nBitmap, nBitmap); And it worked too (no rollover for now, later). So it is great! I also overwrite the Paint method of my CyclicHFManager to have a background color, because I can't use the BorderFactory and BackgroundFactory... My menu bar has a color for now so it's ok. Then, because of these 2 classes missing, in my BitmapButtonField I had to delete the 2 setBorder functions that change the borders. And now i have my buttons pretty big like normal buttons with borders... How can I make the same effect as the setBorder functions under 4.5? (BTW, setBorder is not working under 4.5 too...). Thank you!

  • How to read the 3D chart data with directX?

    - by MemoryLeak
    I am reading a open source project, and I found there is a function which read 3D data(let's say a character) from obj file, and draw it . the source code: List<Vertex3f> verts=new List<Vertex3f>(); List<Vertex3f> norms=new List<Vertex3f>(); Groups=new List<ToothGroup>(); //ArrayList ALf=new ArrayList();//faces always part of a group List<Face> faces=new List<Face>(); MemoryStream stream=new MemoryStream(buffer); using(StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(stream)){ String line; Vertex3f vertex; string[] items; string[] subitems; Face face; ToothGroup group=null; while((line = sr.ReadLine()) != null) { if(line.StartsWith("#")//comment || line.StartsWith("mtllib")//material library. We build our own. || line.StartsWith("usemtl")//use material || line.StartsWith("o")) {//object. There's only one object continue; } if(line.StartsWith("v ")) {//vertex items=line.Split(new char[] { ' ' }); vertex=new Vertex3f();//float[3]; if(flipHorizontally) { vertex.X=-Convert.ToSingle(items[1],CultureInfo.InvariantCulture); } else { vertex.X=Convert.ToSingle(items[1],CultureInfo.InvariantCulture); } vertex.Y=Convert.ToSingle(items[2],CultureInfo.InvariantCulture); vertex.Z=Convert.ToSingle(items[3],CultureInfo.InvariantCulture); verts.Add(vertex); continue; } And why it need to read the data manually in directX? As far as I know, in XDA programming, we just need to call a function a load the resource. Is this because it is in DirectX, there is no function to read resource? If yes, then how to prepare the 3D resource ? in XDA we just need to use other software draw the 3D picture and then export. but what should I do in DirectX?

  • C# adding string elements of 4 different string arrays with each other

    - by new_coder
    Hello. I need an advice about how to create new string array from 4 different string arrays: We have 4 string arrays: string[] arr1 = new string [] {"a1","a2","a3"..., "a30"}; string[] arr2 = new string [] {"d10","d11","d12","d13","d14","d15"}; string[] arr3 = new string [] {"f1","f2","f3"...,"f20"}; string[] arr4 = new string [] {"s10","s11","s12","s13","s14"}; We need to add all string elements of all 4 arrays with each other like this: a1+d10+f1+s10 a2+d10+f1+s10 ... a1+d11+f1+s10 a2+d11+f1+s10 ... a30+d15+f20+s14 I mean all combinations in that order : arr1_element, arr2_element, arr3_element, arr4_element So the result array would be like that: string[] arr5 = new string [] {"a1d10f1s10","a2d10f1s10 "....}; Any help would be good Thank you

  • Setting the database connection when using a TransactionScope

    - by eych
    Does the database connection have to be set inside a TransactionScope? Or can I set it in the ctor and then have instance methods create up a TransactionScope? EDIT: e.g. Public Sub New() Dim conn = new SqlConnection(...connection string) Public Sub SomeClassMethod() using ts as new TransactionScope //conn has already been initialized //so, here you can set commands, ExecuteDataSet, etc. vs Public Sub New() //nothing here Public Sub SomeClassMethod() using ts as new TransactionScope conn = new SqlConnection(...connection string) set commands, ExecuteDataSet, etc. the question is do you need to create the connection to the database after you've created a TransactionScope or can it be done before?
