  • WIA Automation for scanner color intent is not working

    - by Mike Nicholson
    I cannot get my Canon Pixma MP150 to scan a color scan from c# code. The following code is resulting in a black and white image, or if I change the value of 6146 to 2 then a grayscale image is created. I would like to be able to have a color scan from code. I know the scanner does color images because I can do one through the xp wizard in "scanners and camera". Can anyone help me figure out what value I am not setting for a color scan. All documentation and examples I can find just say to change the value of 6146. Thank you for taking the time to read this! private void ScanAndSaveOnePage () { WIA.CommonDialog Dialog1 = new WIA.CommonDialogClass(); WIA.DeviceManager DeviceManager1 = new WIA.DeviceManagerClass(); System.Object Object1 = null; System.Object Object2 = null; WIA.Device Scanner = null; Scanner = Dialog1.ShowSelectDevice(WIA.WiaDeviceType.ScannerDeviceType, false, false); WIA.Item Item1 = Scanner.Items[1]; setItem(Item1, "6146", 1); setItem(Item1, "6147", 150); setItem(Item1, "6148", 150); setItem(Item1, "6151", 150 * 8.5); setItem(Item1, "6152", 150 * 11); WIA.ImageFile Image1 = new WIA.ImageFile(); WIA.ImageProcess ImageProcess1 = new WIA.ImageProcess(); Object1 = (Object)"Convert"; ImageProcess1.Filters.Add(ImageProcess1.FilterInfos.get_Item(ref Object1).FilterID, 0); Object1 = (Object)"FormatID"; Object2 = (Object)WIA.FormatID.wiaFormatBMP; ImageProcess1.Filters[1].Properties.get_Item(ref Object1).set_Value(ref Object2); Object1 = null; Object2 = null; Image1 = (WIA.ImageFile)Item1.Transfer(WIA.FormatID.wiaFormatBMP); string DestImagePath = @"C:\test.bmp"; File.Delete(DestImagePath); Image1.SaveFile(DestImagePath); } private void setItem (IItem item, object property, object value) { WIA.Property aProperty = item.Properties.get_Item(ref property); aProperty.set_Value(ref value); }

  • Is it possible to seletively color a label in Silverlight

    - by joemoe
    For instance, if I have a label: Blah blah bladity blah I want the first 10% of this label, such that the font color should be red, and the rest should be green. This perhaps means it would color the Bl and PART of the a. Basically pixel-wise font coloring instead of character-wise. Is this possible and how would is be accomplished?

  • Color image swap javascript not working in IE7

    - by Lauren
    To test, you'd have to log in to the example page here: http://www.avaline.com /Drinkware/Sport-Water-Bottles/Monterey-DAB20 From there, the Color drop-down swaps out the right color images in IE8, FF3.6(the latest), Chrome4.1(up to date), but not in IE7. I don't get it...but I'm plugging along trying to debug it with visual studio.

  • Visual Studio Formatting -- Change Method Color

    - by Daniel
    The default appearance of a method for example, ".ToString()" is by default the color black. I want to make it a different color to stand out but I do not see any options that reference this option specifically. I remember one of former collegues showing me his VS IDE years ago and he had it setup this way but I cannot recall what he did. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

  • CSS - changing the font color for a from select option in firefox

    - by Mick
    I'm building a website for my church, and I'm teaching myself all about web design along the way. http://www.wilmingtonchurchofgod.org/contact_us.html is the link where you can see my issue. If you look at that page in firefox, and you click the select part of the form (next to, "Who would you like to contact?") you will see that when you hover over a choice, the font is white. I have tried various things to fix this, but can't find a solution. This seems to be specific to Firefox. Here is the relevant CSS. input, textarea, select, option{ padding: 6px; border: solid 1px #E5E5E5; outline: 0; font: normal 13px/100% Verdana, Tahoma, sans-serif; width: 200px; background: #FFFFFF url(images/from-grad.jpg) left top repeat-x; background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left 25, from(#FFFFFF), color-stop(4%, #EEEEEE), to(#FFFFFF)); background: -moz-linear-gradient(top, #FFFFFF, #EEEEEE 1px, #FFFFFF 25px); box-shadow: rgba(0,0,0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; -moz-box-shadow: rgba(0,0,0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; -webkit-box-shadow: rgba(0,0,0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; } option{ padding:0px; } textarea { width: 400px; max-width: 400px; height: 150px; line-height: 150%; } input:hover, textarea:hover, input:focus, textarea:focus{ border-color: #C9C9C9; -webkit-box-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; -moz-box-shadow: rgba(0,0,0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; } option:hover, option:focus, select:hover, select:focus { color: black; border-color: #C9C9C9; -webkit-box-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; -moz-box-shadow: rgba(0,0,0, 0.15) 0px 0px 8px; } Another side note is that I can't get any background gradient at all to show up on Google Chome (yet it does on Safari and they are supposed to use the same kit?) Any help with these two things would be greatly appreciated.
