    I am trying to set up validation on a simple contact form that is created using the form helper. No validation at all occurs. What is wrong? In the code below, the “good” keyword always shows, regardless of what is entered into the form, and the saved values set via set_value are never shown.     Hey, I would like to know how you can disable UIAlerts, specifically the Alerts being displayed after tapping and holding hyperlinks in a UIWebView. These seem to be enabled by default in UIWebViews containing the link address of the respective link in the title of the alert. They are also enabled in Safari. Each cell has within it a UILabel and a UITextField, so one cell is: Name <enter name> ^ ^ UILabel UITextField Now, I'm trying to populate the UILabel and the UITextField from a NSDictionary (from a plist), where it's organized like so: Root Type Value Name String Address String City String etc But in order to get the right labels and textfields in the cellForRowAtIndexPath method, I would have to refer to the Dictionary numerically. Is there any way to do that?

    I am building a system with a User model (authenticated using AuthLogic) and three user types in three models: one of these models is Employer. Each of these three models has_many :users, :as = :authenticable. I start by having a new visitor to the site create their own 'User' record with username, password, which user type they are, etc. Upon creation, the user is sent to the 'new' action for one of the three models. So, if they tell us they are an employer, we redirect_to :controller = "employers, :action = "new". Question: When the employer has submitted, I want to set the current_user.user_type_id equal to the employer ID. The only other option I can think of is using the IP address, which is less than ideal in many cases (college campuses, shared Internet access, etc.).
