  I am willing to build an email application which runs on the server side. Not being familiar with any particular server I wonder if I can get some recommendations based on experience. I have seen many great startups which built some neat apps on the email platform (for instance, friendfeed's notification mechanism, or surely posterous which mail is at the heart of their business logic), and wonder about which mail server have they found easy to learn and integrate with.   Hey everybody, I'm looking for a more robust and fully featured GUI SVN manager for Mac than what is built into XCode (which works, but only as long as you don't need anything beyond the bare basics and doesn't work for versioning scripts and such created in other editors). I can use the terminal commands, but I'd really like the option of using a GUI. On windows I use TortoiseSVN and Visual SVN, which do pretty much everything I need, but as far as I'm aware there's nothing even remotely resembling those on the Mac side.

• Trying to connect to a remote server using Eclipse

  I have an Ubuntu server running Tomcat, and I want to connect my Eclipse EE to it so I can work with JSP. I have no problem connecting to a similar Tomcat service when it's installed on my machine (not a server), but whenever I try to connect to the remote server I don't seem to have the option of choosing a Tomcat service. Is there some guide you can recommend (I didn't find one), or is there something I did wrong?

• Update Label text from XML

  Hi, I have an XML will is parsed and then fed to a bunch of Labels. I am trying to add a live element so that the labels refresh automatically from the XML. From what I've read this is possible using a tableView and [tableView reloadData] but the design dictates the use of labels. At the moment the labels only get updated on restarting the app, which is not ideal. Using ViewWillAppear is one option, but want to stick to using lables.

  I have setup OpenVPN on my server, and I am able to connect to it just fine, and browse the web, etc, from the client box. If I set the following option in the client config, I can no longer browse the web via domain name: redirect-gateway def1 On the server, I have run the following command: iptables -t nat -s 10.8.0.0/24 -A POSTROUTING -j SNAT --to myserver'sIP but that hasn't changed anything. Can anyone help suggest something?

When the button is clicked, on: on Chrome (and Safari of course) it just doesn't select anything, instead creates some ghostly empty option on Firefox and Opera, it works the way I expect and want it to work, resets the element value on Explorer, it does nothing So, which one is expected behaviour? • How can the SO_RCVBUF be smaller than the TCP receive window? (Windows XP)

  I have an application using TCP on Windows XP. When I call getsockopt with the SO_RCVBUF option, it reports 8192 bytes. However, Wireshark shows the app advertising a receive buffer of 64K. How is this possible? To have a 64K receive window, doesn't it need a 64K buffer? Are there two different buffers?
