I am currently using:
c(module_name)
: to build my Erlang files ones by one, and I was wondering about how other people handle the build process for Erlang when they have multiple files
I am programming in c++ MFC,
I want to get "C:\windows" "c:\program files" folder path.
Sometimes user may setup windows in other folder such as c:\windows0.
Is there any API to get absolute path of the windows and program files path?
Many thanks!
In my src folder there is another folder called data which contains data1.txt and data2.txt. The application loads a graph from these files in the initialization so I want to include these files in my final jar. I use ant to produce the jar file.
It traverses to bottom dirs for some unknown reason:

make clean
#The wildcard is the bug. I want to make all hidden files in the current makefile.
#It should match .<some char><some char><any char arbitrary times>
make $$(.??*)
#I want to replace below-like-tihngs with a wildcard above
# make .lambda
# make .lambda_t

There is a master subversion repository that I've cloned a git repo from. I've got a lot of ignored files in my .gitignore that I'd like the svn repository to know about.
I know that I can use git svn show-ignored to pull the ignored list from subversion, but how can I do the reverse? Send a list of files to be ignored back to the svn repo?
Git version (and git-svn is at the same version):
git --version
git version 1.7.0.5
Whenever i perform a file search in eclipse, it scans allfiles including .svn-base file.
Provided i am using * for file name patterns.
Is it possible to scan allfiles for searching but skipping the .svn-base file?
I'm making a very simple content-management system in Javascript. It uses plugins which are individual .js files which live in a "modules" folder. Currently I'm loading them with JQuery's getScript() function, but I have to manually define the list of available modules.
Is there any way to dynamically load the list of Javascript files so that the user can install additional modules by simply dropping them into the "modules" folder?
My first day using this IDE...
is there a way to configure the IDE to open files in the project by double click? It is rather painful having to drag files from the project overview into the editor window.
I want to search my filesystem for any files with the extension .template.
The below works fine for everything except .htaccess.template
FileList.new(File.join(root, '**', '*.template')).each do |file|
# do stuff with file
end
because windows doesn't like nameless files, grrrr
How do I make this work on Windows? This code works fine on Linux....
I commited a lot of files locally (including binary files removing & adding...) and now when I try to push it takes a lot of time. Actually I messed up my local repo history.
How could I avoid this mistake in the future ? Can I transform a set of local revision 1-2-3-4 to 1-2 with 2 being the final revision of the local clone ?
I am new to IntelliJ and to creating XSD files. In the "Create Project" wizard, there is no option to create an XML project. Do I create a Java project and then try to import the files?
What should I write into the .bat file for it to find allfiles with same names in folder (and it's sub folders) and replace them with file from another file (from another folder)?
Is there any fast way if we have 1 000 000 folders with nearely 10 000 files for replacement?
i wrote a program in c# using directshow , that captures all devices' audios , and video from single device (webcam or external camera) , now that my requirement is to merge selected audio files with one video file and i can not get it done in c#.
so i need a program or libraries that merges one(or several) audio file(s) and one video file and save it as an avi VIDEO file ,, both audio file and video files are in avi format.
Trying to optimize my MUI 2 NSIS setup in which I do some ExecWait calls in the .onInstSuccess callback function, I was searching through the documentation to find a callback that is called:
after the files are all copied -and-
before the wizard page is being switched from the file copy page to the finish page.
Unfortunately, I found no such callback.
Therefore my question is:
Is it possible to do some custom processing after the files are copied and before the wizard page is being switched away from the file copy page?
I'm working with a visual studio 2008 - You get access to a number of special folders to use if you want to include files within. One I don't see on the list is the user's local application data folder. Is there anyway to put files in that folder from within a VS2008 setup project?
We have a bunch of malformed XML files used in unit tests to check if our application can handle them.
Eclipse marks this XML files with errors, polluting the "problem view".
Is there a way to exclude a specific folder from Eclipse validators?
I'm trying to play a mpeg movie on my Sony Cybershot digital camera, it's from a DV-camera converted to MPEG1. But sony refuses to play it with File error. The only files sony can play are from my previous Sony camera. The other way around gives no problem, the movies the camera takes play on various software
media players.
Has anyone succeeded in converting files to the mpg-format that a Sony Digital Camera can play?
hi,
is there any way to generate video thumbnails automatically with Drupal without having to install additional tools or libraries, but just using the "standard" server configuration apache + php 5.2 ?
If not, is there any way to add tools without having access to server configuration files (and php configuration files ?)
thanks
I am thinking of moving my static .JS files to a CDN such as Amazon S3 for performance reasons. As my PHP files and mySQL DB remain on my primary hosting domain what is the best way to manage my JS AJAX requests if they are now cross domain?
Currently they look like this within my .JS file (with relative paths):
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
url: "/myNearbyPhpFile.php",
data: {data:someData},
success: function($r){}
});
I want all CSV files in a directory, so I use
glob('my/dir/*.CSV')
This however doesn't find files with a lowercase CSV extension.
I could use
glob('my/dir/*.{CSV,csv}', GLOB_BRACE);
But is there a way to allow all mixed case versions? Or is this just a limitation of glob() ?
i have seen a lot of coders choosing this filename convention:
file.class.php.
is this a standard of naming class files?
just curious. so i know if i should follow it for all class files in the future.
thanks
OK so I now know there is a way to put all my php files in a single place and have them be able to be included without a filepath by setting an include_path like so:
php_value include_path .:/pathToPHPFiles
OK so now as long as my PHP files are in this directory I can include them from any subdirectory as if they were in the same directory.
I am wondering if there is a trick like this for other file types like .css and .js so I can put them all in single location and embed them in a page without worring about the filepath?
Hi those who're projects owners of sourceforge.net,
Recently, sourceforge lets us to use sftp to upload files, which is necessary for uploading huge file. But I can't think of ways to make uploaded files file manager rather than making links from http://myproject.sf.net/.
Thanks!
How do I get Aptana to recognize .jspf files?
I'd like to have syntax highlighting for .jspf files. I'm sure there's a preference/config option or an xml file to edit, but I'm not finding it.
I assume it's similar to the eclipse process, so I'm tagging eclipse, too. If it's not, I'll remove the tag.
If you have images or other files that reside externally, how do force the browser to download the link when a user click on it?
The use of "Content-disposition: attachment;" header would do that, but it is not working for files that resides externally without reading and importing the file locally.
