Is it possible to do that in batch? If not, what other options do I have?

    How are users able to actually use features such as pinching if they don't have touchscreen monitors? I ask this because: I plan to use Windows 8 on my desktop, and I want to get the full use of any applications I download. I want to ensure that if I ever release any application I develop to the windows store that there is a way for my users to get around this situation (no touchscreen for multitouch events).

    Hi, for some reason since we rolled out IE7 to the estate users are unable to download from the Internet, they get an error message "the operation could not be completed due to restrictions on the computer" I have checked the GPO and it allows downloads in the Default domain policy. I am I missing something in GPO or is this problem with IE7. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

    I downloaded NVIDIA-Linux-x86-295.59.run from the official Nvidia website, I used in the terminal sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-295.59.run the installation started and everything, but I got this ERROR: You appear to be running an X server; please exit X before installing. For further details, please see the section INSTALLING THE NVIDIA DRIVER in the README available on the Linux driver download page at www.nvidia.com. I'm a newbie to ubuntu, and I don't know so much codes, can you please tell me step by step?

  • Installing php on Centos 6 offline

    I have just installed CENTOS 6 on an internal network with no Internet Access. Not very familiar with LINUX/CENTOS, I managed to get httpd service started and I believe PHP wasn't installed. As the machine is not connected to the Internet, it will not be able to use YUM directly. How do I go about installing PHP and their dependencies, or the only way is to download the source codes and build it on my own?

  • Make thunderbird store all mail locally for IMAP accounts but not indexing all for search

    In Thunderbird the global gloda search is connected to the selection of downloaded/syncronized folders of the IMAP accounts in the Offline-settings. Is it possible somehow, that Thunderbirds download/syncs all emails in the IMAP account but does not add them to the index for the global search? I would like to do this because I have some accounts that I only keep in thunderbird for archiving reasons but I don't want to find those mails, when I use the global search

  • What causes "system call failed" and there are hanging ie processes?

    System: Windows 7 Home Premium IE: 11.0.9600.17107 When I have had many, many apps and windows open, sometimes I'll try to access a folder and get a dialog that says "System Call Failed". I have found the fix for it is to open the task manager and End Process Tree on iexplore.exe and iexplore.exe *32. Often times there will be several of these even when I have closed all my browser windows. Does anyone have any experience with this error?

    I have a program that is stuck under the task bar in Windows 7. I cannot click on it because (I think) the click is interpreted as being on the task bar and not on the program. How do I recover it? The program does not show up when I alt-tab through all of the programs. It also does not show up in Applications in the Task Manager.

However after every windows update this one application stops working. Browser says that server is unavailable.     I want to download the following subdomain with the recursive option using wget: www.example.com/A/B So if that URL has links to www.example.com/A/B/C and www.example.com/A/B/D, these two should also be downloaded. But I don't want anything outside the www.example.com/A/B subdomain to be downloaded. For example, if www.example.com/A/B/C has a link back to www.example.com, the page www.example.com should not be downloaded. What wget command should I use?

    I have antivirus service (Kaspersky) that occasionally becomes unresponsive to the normal stop/stop gui interface provided by said vendor. I would like to find a way to kill the service for a restart without rebooting, however all attempts I have tried result in failure with an 'Access is Denied' error.     I can't get access to Aero transparency themes in Windows 7. The troubleshooter says that I need to close programs that are using mirror drivers in order for that to work. I've looked through my task manager list of running applications and I can't see any that jump out as the culprit. Is there a program that will tell me what the app causing this issue is?     Hi, Im using windows 2007 server 64 bit OS, I've uploaded the snap shot of my task manager when minimum processes running It shows Total memory 8190 mb *Cached memory 4315 mb* Free 3402 mb So effectively I get only 3402 mb of total RAM usage My question here is more than half is used for cached memory is there any means I can decrease this cached memory inturn I can increase my free memory. I need to do this because my Application requires at least 5GB RAM and it crashed when run in this system. Please give me a solution for this Thanks in advance
