    I have Centos 6.2 in server with this specs: 2xCPU 16 Core AMD Opteron 6282 SE 64GB RAM Raid controller H700 1GB cache NV - 2HD 74GB SAS 15Krpm RAID1 stripe 16k (OS Centos 6.2) sda - 4HD 146GB SAS 15Krpm RAID10 stripe 16k (ext4 bs 4096, no barriers) sdb -> /vol01 Raid controller H800 1GB cache nv - MD1200 12HD 300GB SAS 15Krpm RAID10 stripe 256k (For DB Postgres 8.3.18) (ext4 bs 4096, stride 64, stripe-width 384, no barriers) sdc -> /vol02 I'm benchmarking IO speed with dd, and view thah if in RAID10 12 disk exec: dd if=/dev/zero of=DD bs=8M count=10000 oflag=direct 10000+0 records in 10000+0 records out 83886080000 bytes (84 GB) copied, 126,03 s, 666 MB/s but if I remove "oflag=direct" option obtain about 80 MB/s. In read benchmark, results are similar: dd of=/dev/null if=DD bs=8M count=10000 iflag=direct 10000+0 records in 10000+0 records out 83886080000 bytes (84 GB) copied, 79,5918 s, 1,1 GB/s If remove iflag=direct obtain 150MB/s... I don't understand this huge differences, on other machines y don't have this behavior. Can I have some kernel parameter misconfigured? Thanks!

  • Nginx Not Passing URL Parameters

    - by jmccartie
Messing around with Nginx ... for some reason, it looks like none of my URL parameters are being passed. My homepage loads fine, but a URL like "http://mysite.com/more.php?id=101" throws errors, saying that the ID is an undefined index. I'm assuming this is something basic I'm missing in a conf file. Some info: conf.d/virtual.conf server { listen 80; server_name dev.mysite.com; index index.php; root /var/www/dev.mysite.com_html; location / { root /var/www/dev.mysite.com_html; } location ~ \.php(.*)$ { fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME /var/www/wap/dev.mysite.com_html/$fastcgi_script_n ame; fastcgi_index index.php; include /etc/nginx/fastcgi_params; } } Error log: 2009/06/22 11:44:21 [notice] 16319#0: start worker process 16322 2009/06/22 11:44:28 [error] 16320#0: *1 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP Notice: Undefined index: id in /var/www/dev.mysite.com_html/more.php on line 10 Thanks in advance.

  • Nginx multiple upstream servers on the same domain via diferent url

    - by Barry
Hello. I am trying to rout trafic to different upstream servers (that serve different applications and not for load balancing). The incoming trafic has the same domain name but different URL. Here is an example of my configuration: http { upstream backend1 { server 127.0.0.1:8080 fail_timeout=0; server 127.0.0.1:8081 fail_timeout=0; } upstream backend2 { server 127.0.0.1:8090 fail_timeout=0; server 127.0.0.1:8091 fail_timeout=0; } server { listen 80; server_name my_server.com; root /home/my_server; location /serve_me { fastcgi_pass backend1; include fastcgi_params; } location / { fastcgi_pass backend2; include fastcgi_params; } } } It seems that whatever trafic comes in (including "my_server.com/serve_me") goes to backend2. How do I make queries that start with /serve_me to be directed to backend1? Thanks, Barry.

  • Bad network performance on KVM guest

  • Why am I getting blank error messages in my Apache error log?

    - by Jason Lamoreux
I am running Apache 2.2 on 64bit Windows Server 2008 Std edition with ActivePerl 5.8.9. My error log is filling up with blank error messages like these: [Wed Mar 31 14:08:31 2010] [error] [client 10.6.1.164] [Wed Mar 31 14:10:32 2010] [error] [client 10.6.1.89] [Wed Mar 31 14:13:20 2010] [error] [client 10.6.1.131] By looking in the access log I can tell that it occurs when our client machines issue a GET to a very simple Perl script. #!perl.exe use strict; no warnings; $|=1; use CGI::Carp('fatalsToBrowser'); use CGI qw(:standard); print header; my $CRLF = "\r\n<br>"; my $Port = '10116'; print "Success!${CRLF}PollInterval=5${CRLF}LMProMode${CRLF}Version=7${CRLF}ConnectionPort=$Port"; exit; The weird thing is that it does not look like this error message is inserted every time a GET to this Perl script occurs. What could cause this error message to appear in the Apache error log?

  • Apache server configuration name resolution (virtual host naming + security)

    - by Homunculus Reticulli
I have just setup a minimal (hopefully secure? - comments welcome) apache website using the following configuration file: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName foobar.com ServerAlias www.foobar.com ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /path/to/websites/foobar/web DirectoryIndex index.php # CustomLog with format nickname LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" common CustomLog "|/usr/bin/cronolog /var/log/apache2/%Y%m.foobar.access.log" common LogLevel notice ErrorLog "|/usr/bin/cronolog /var/log/apache2/%Y%m.foobar.errors.log" <Directory /> AllowOverride None Order Deny,Allow Deny from all </Directory> <Directory /path/to/websites/> Options -Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> </VirtualHost> I am able to access the website by using www.foobar.com, however when I type foobar.com, I get the error 'Server not found' - why is this? My second question concerns the security implications of the directive: <Directory /path/to/websites/> Options -Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> in the configuration above. What exactly is it doing, and is it necessary?. From my (admitedly limited) understanding of Apache configuration files, this means that anyone will be able to access (write to?) the /path/to/websites/ folder. Is my understanding correct? - and if yes, how is this not a security risk?

  • How do I create a wifi network bridge with qemu on OS X?

    - by a paid nerd
I grabbed a small FreeBSD live CD and QEMU, and I'm trying to bridge my Mac OS X 10.8 wifi connection so that the guest OS is available on my LAN. However, the guest OS never gets a DHCP lease. This works perfectly with VirtualBox in their "bridged" network mode, so I know it can be done. I need to get it working with QEMU because VirtualBox doesn't support the architecture that I need for this project. Here's what I've done so far based on hours of googling: Installed TUNTAP for OS X Told OS X to supposedly forward all packets, even ARP: (NOTE: This doesn't appear to work.) $ sudo sysctl -w net.inet.ip.forwarding=1 $ sudo sysctl -w net.link.ether.inet.proxyall=1 $ sudo sysctl -w net.inet.ip.fw.enable=1 Created a bridge: $ sudo ifconfig bridge0 create $ sudo ifconfig bridge0 addm en0 addm tap0 $ sudo ifconfig bridge0 up $ ifconfig bridge0: flags=8863<UP,BROADCAST,SMART,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 ether ac:de:xx:xx:xx:xx Configuration: priority 0 hellotime 0 fwddelay 0 maxage 0 ipfilter disabled flags 0x2 member: en0 flags=3<LEARNING,DISCOVER> port 4 priority 0 path cost 0 member: tap0 flags=3<LEARNING,DISCOVER> port 8 priority 0 path cost 0 tap0: flags=8943<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,PROMISC,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 ether ca:3d:xx:xx:xx:xx open (pid 88244) Started tcpdump with -I in the hopes that it enables promiscuous mode on the wifi device: $ sudo tcpdump -In -i en0 Run QEMU using the bridged network instructions: $ qemu-system-x86_64 -cdrom mfsbsd-9.2-RELEASE-amd64.iso -m 1024 \ -boot d -net nic -net tap,ifname=tap0,script=no,downscript=no But the guest system never gets a DHCP lease: If I tcpdump -ni tap0, I see lots of traffic from the wireless network. But if I tcpdump -ni en0, I don't see any DHCP traffic from the QEMU guest OS. Any ideas? Update 1: I tried sudo defaults write "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot" "Kernel Flags" "net.inet.ip.scopedroute=0" and rebooting per this mailing list suggestion, but this didn't help. In fact, it made VirtualBox bridged mode stop working.

  • Issue with SSL using HAProxy and Nginx

    - by Ben Chiappetta
I'm building a highly available site using a multiple HAProxy load balancers, Nginx web serves, and MySQL servers. The site needs to be able to survive load balancer or web servers nodes going offline without any interruption of service to visitors. Currently, I have two boxes running HAProxy sharing a virtual IP using keepalived, which forward to two web servers running Nginx, which then tie into two MySQL boxes using MySQL replication and sharing a virtual IP using heartbeat. Everything is working correctly except for SSL traffic over HAProxy. I'm running version 1.5 dev12 with openssl support compiled in. When I try to navigate to the virtual IP for haproxy over https, I get the message: The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port. Here's my haproxy.cfg so far, which was mainly assembled from other posts: global log 127.0.0.1 local0 log 127.0.0.1 local1 notice # log 127.0.0.1 local0 user haproxy group haproxy daemon maxconn 20000 defaults log global option dontlognull balance leastconn clitimeout 60000 srvtimeout 60000 contimeout 5000 retries 3 option redispatch listen front bind :80 bind :443 ssl crt /etc/pki/tls/certs/cert.pem mode http option http-server-close option forwardfor reqadd X-Forwarded-Proto:\ https if { is_ssl } reqadd X-Proto:\ SSL if { is_ssl } server web01 192.168.25.34 check inter 1s server web02 192.168.25.32 check inter 1s stats enable stats uri /stats stats realm HAProxy\ Statistics stats auth admin:********* Any idea why SSL traffic isn't being passed correctly? Also, any other changes you would recommend? I still need to configure logging, so don't worry about that section. Thanks in advance your help.

  • Correct way to set up office network - 8 workstations, a file server and a staging server

    - by naunu
Our office had this old school windows 2003 domain setup, our server caught fire, and now we are looking to do it right from scratch. Here is what we need: 5 PC and 3 Mac workstations for web development, they will each have WAMP/MAMP setup on them, managed by their developers. We will have a file server for assets, and a LAMP server with an external IP for staging. Here is what we have to work with: 5 IP addresses, brand new PC file server with windows 2008 SE, D-Link DSS-16+ 16 port switch, belkin 5 port wireless router, cable modem with 4 ports. How I have it set up now (this is a temporary makeshift setup): Cable modem = LAMP server, wireless router Wireless router = Switch = All of the workstations and file server (setup as a workgroup). We have noticed our internet is very slow with us all plugged in to the switch, and the switch plugged in to the router. I am not positive, but I think it is because our router does not have NAT. We are also having problems with the MACs connection to the network drive - it keeps disconnecting. I want this done right, and we have a ~$600 budget to buy anything else we need. Does anybody have any advice for me? Should I set up a domain or workgroup?

What else could be the problem?

  • Nginx with http/https - Http seemed redirected to https all the time

    - by dwarfy
I've this really weird behaviour with my ubuntu 10.04 / nginx 1.2.3 server. Basically I changed the SSL certificates this morning. And ever since it has been behaving weirdly on all apps. Godaddy is reporting that HTTPS/SSL setup is correct. When I try a page it still works correctly when I'm using HTTPS. But when I try using HTTP nginx reports error : 400 Bad Request The plain HTTP request was sent to HTTPS port After looking around on google for hours, I've tried different setup (while originaly my setup was working correctly for longtime, I just renewed certificates) I kindof found a half solution by adding this to my config : error_page 497 $request_uri; The realllly weird thing is that when I use this setup : server { listen 80; server_name john.johnrocks.eu; access_log /home/john/envs/john_prod/nginx_access.log; error_log /home/john/envs/john_prod/nginx_error.log; location / { uwsgi_pass unix:///home/john/envs/john_prod/john.sock; include uwsgi_params; } location /media { alias /home/john/envs/john_prod/johntab/www; } location /adminmedia { alias /home/john/envs/john_prod/johntab/www/adminmedia; } } I still have the same error when using HTTP (while nothing is setup for HTTPS here)?? I'm getting crazy on this !

  • Is there a way to determine which service (in svchost.exe) does an outgoing connection?

    - by fluxtendu
I'm redoing my firewall configuration with more restrictive policies and I would like to determine the provenance (and/or destination) of some outgoing connections. I have an issue because they come from svchost.exe and go to web content/application delivery providers - or similar: 5 IP in range: 82.96.58.0 - 82.96.58.255 --> Akamai Technologies akamaitechnologies.com 3 IP in range: 93.150.110.0 - 93.158.111.255 --> Akamai Technologies akamaitechnologies.com 2 IP in range: 87.248.194.0 - 87.248.223.255 --> LLNW Europe 2 llnw.net 205.234.175.175 --> CacheNetworks, Inc. cachefly.net 188.121.36.239 --> Go Daddy Netherlands B.V. secureserver.net So is it possible to know which service does a particular connection? Or what's your recommendation about the rules applied to these ones? (Comodo Firewall & Windows 7) Update: netstat -ano & tasklist /svc help me a little but they are many services in one svchost.exe so it's still an issue. moreover the service names returned by "tasklist /svc" are not easy readable. (All the connections are HTTP (port 80) but I don't think it's relevant)

  • Why can't I get rid of default index.html even if I disable the default virtual host in Apache2?

    - by Emre Sevinç
I have created a virtual host settings file and I disabled the default settings by using a2dissite default (this is a pretty standard Ubuntu 10.04 installation). But no matter what I try my Apache2 server simply keeps on displaying the default index.html page instead of the index.php page that I set up in the virtual host file. Can someone help me what I'm missing. Details follow: No default settings: ls -l /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ total 0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 51 May 5 13:32 webmin.1273066327.conf -> /etc/apache2/sites-available/webmin.1273066327.conf lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 34 May 30 11:03 www.accontax.be -> ../sites-available/www.accontax.be Contents of the relevant virtual host: cat /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/www.accontax.be <VirtualHost *> ServerName www.accontax.be ServerAlias accontax.be DirectoryIndex index.php DocumentRoot /var/www/drupal/ <Directory /var/www/drupal/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride None Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> </VirtualHost> Contents of httpd.conf: cat /etc/apache2/httpd.conf Listen 80 NameVirtualHost * I also have those relevant lines in my apache2.conf: # Include generic snippets of statements Include /etc/apache2/conf.d/ # Include the virtual host configurations: Include /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ When I visit http://www.accontax.be I expect apache2 server go to the /var/www/drupal subdirectory and start serving index.php but it simply keeps on serving index.html from /var/www directory. I have reloaded the configuration, restarted the server, deleted my browser cache. Nothing changed. Probably I'm missing a simple yet crucial step but I just could not find it.

  • Strange Apache Webdav situation (OSX Will connect, Ubuntu will not)

    - by mewrei
So basically my situation is that I have an Apache 2.2 webserver running on Linux on another box, and I have it configured to serve up webdav. Now here's the weird part, I can access the server just fine on my Mac using the "Connect to Server" dialog (even moved like 5GB of files over the connection). On my Ubuntu desktop cadaver will connect as well and allow me to browse. However when I try to use Xmarks (BYOS Edition) or the GNOME "Connect to Server" dialog, it gives me a 403 Forbidden error. My server does digest authentication if that makes any difference. Here's part of my apache2.conf file <VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "/path" <Directory "/path"> Dav on AuthType Digest AuthName iTools AuthDigestDomain "/" AuthUserFile /path/to/WebDavUsers Options None AllowOverride None <LimitExcept GET HEAD OPTIONS> require valid-user </LimitExcept> Order allow, deny Allow from All </Directory> <Directory "/path/*/Public"> Options +Indexes </Directory> <Directory "/path/user"> <LimitExcept GET HEAD OPTIONS> require user user </LimitExcept> </Directory> </VirtualHost>

  • VMWare Host Not Responding - VMs are Disconnected (ESXi 3.5)

    - by EyeonTech
I have inherited a VMWare environement ESX v3i 3.5. I am not fluent with VMWare ESXi so bare with me. Two days ago, when I opened Virtual Centre, one of the Hosts showed up as Not Responding. The error I am seeing is:----- Unable to acquire licenses because license source is unavailable: The license manager has not been started yet, the wrong port@host or license file is being used, or the port or hostname in the license file has been changed. What I have tried: I have Stopped and Started the license server within the application. When I do this, I am able to disconnect the host in Virtual Centre and reconnect. This brings the host back online, but a few minutes later, the host goes to a not responding state again. I have rebooted the server with the Licensing software installed. While browsing Google, I have not been able to find any steps I feel comfortable performing and I would like the opinion of the VMWare pros. Where are the log files I should be looking at to correctly determine what is going on? Has anyone seen this behaviour and how did you resolve it? Thank you

  • network latency, TCP and UDP packets

    - by user115848
Hello recently my network has started to cause me lots of problems. I have a cable modem, connected to a tp-link router (with some port forwarding). Everything was working fine then i started to get lots of udp (port 53) "UNREPLIED" logs in the router. Now there are tcp UNREPLIED logs too. This is causing lots of latency and failed connections when trying to connect to different internet sites. Also, we run an openfire server for spark connections, and I believe its causing connectivity issues for some users who are trying to connect using Spark (some people connect fine, others don't). Please see screen shot below for packet logs. It has to be something internally, as I connected straight to the comcast modem and i was able to connect to the internet and various sites as normal. I tried to swap out the router with a different and got the same issue. I scanned both my internal dns servers for viruses or malware and it came up empty. Another anomaly is that when i try to connect to www.cnn.com, i get redirected to the different site. I scanned my own machine for hijacks. Not sure if this is related to the networking issue. Please let me know if you have any ideas for troubleshooting.

    I'm using the following service to monitor our postgres db from nagios: define service{ use test-service ; Name of servi$ host_name DEMOCGN002 service_description Postgres State check_command check_nrpe!check_pgsql!192.168.1.135!test!test!test notifications_enabled 1 } On the remote machine I've configured the command: command[check_pgsql]=/usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_pgsql -H $ARG1$ -d $ARG2$ -l $ARG3$ -p $ARG4$ In the syslog I can see that command is executed, but there is only one argument transmitted: Oct 20 13:18:43 DEMOSRV01 nrpe[1033]: Running command: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_pgsql -H 192.168.1.134 -d -l -p Oct 20 13:18:43 DEMOSRV01 nrpe[1033]: Command completed with return code 3 and output: check_pgsql: Database name is not valid - -l#012Usage:#012check_pgsql [-H <host>] [-P <port>] [-c <critical time>] [-w <warning time>]#012 [-t <timeout>] [-d <database>] [-l <logname>] [-p <password>] Oct 20 13:18:43 DEMOSRV01 nrpe[1033]: Return Code: 3, Output: check_pgsql: Database name is not valid - -l#012Usage:#012check_pgsql [-H <host>] [-P <port>] [-c <critical time>] [-w <warning time>]#012 [-t <timeout>] [-d <database>] [-l <logname>] [-p <password>] Why are arguments 2,3 and 4 missing?

  • NGINX Remove index.php /index.php/something/more/ to /something/more

  • Error when starting qpidd as a service

    - by Sparks
I have recently swapped from CENTOS 5 to FEDORA 17. Previously I have created my own init.d scripts successfully (albeit not for qpidd) however, in FEDORA I cannot get it to work. I have created the following script (called qpidd) in the init.d directory: #!/bin/bash # # /etc/rc.d/init.d/qpidd # # QPID/AMQP Broker scripts # # # chkconfig: 2345 20 80 # description: QPID/AMQP Broker service # processname: qpidd # pidfile: /var/lock/subsys/qpidd # Source function library. . /etc/init.d/functions SERVICENAME=qpidd start() { echo -n "Starting $SERVICENAME: " daemon qpidd -d & retval=$? touch /var/lock/subsys/$SERVICENAME return $retval } stop() { echo -n "Shutting down $SERVICENAME: " qpidd -q & retval=$? rm -f /var/lock/subsys/$SERVICENAME return $retval } case "$1" in start) start ;; stop) stop ;; status) status qpidd ;; restart) stop start ;; condrestart) [ -f /var/lock/subsys/<service> ] && restart || : ;; *) echo "Usage: $SERVICENAME {start|stop|status|restart" exit 1 ;; esac exit $? After this, I ran chkconfig --add qpidd, however, now when I run sudo service qpidd start I get the following message: Starting qpidd (via systemctl): Job failed. See system journal and 'systemctl status' for details. If I then run systemctl status qpidd I get the following message: Failed to issue method call: Unit name qpidd is not valid. I am now lost, I have search the web and Stack Overflow but cannot find anybody with similar problem, any help or direction to a website that can help would be much appreciated Sparks :)

  • Server load high, CPU idle. NFS the cause?

    - by Mech Software
    I am running into a scenario where I'm seeing a high server load (sometimes upwards of 20 or 30) and a very low CPU usage (98% idle). I'm wondering if these wait states are coming as part of an NFS filesystem connection. Here is what I see in VMStat procs -----------memory---------- ---swap-- -----io---- --system-- -----cpu------ r b swpd free buff cache si so bi bo in cs us sy id wa st 2 1 0 1298784 0 0 0 0 16 5 0 9 1 1 97 2 0 0 1 0 1308016 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 3882 4 3 80 13 0 0 1 0 1307960 0 0 0 0 120 0 0 2960 0 0 88 12 0 0 1 0 1295868 0 0 0 0 4 0 0 4235 1 2 84 13 0 6 0 0 1292740 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 5003 1 1 98 0 0 4 0 0 1300860 0 0 0 0 0 120 0 11194 4 3 93 0 0 4 1 0 1304576 0 0 0 0 240 0 0 11259 4 3 88 6 0 3 1 0 1298952 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 9268 7 5 70 19 0 3 1 0 1303740 0 0 0 0 88 8 0 8088 4 3 81 13 0 5 0 0 1304052 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 6348 4 4 93 0 0 0 0 0 1307952 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 7366 5 4 91 0 0 0 0 0 1307744 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 3201 0 0 100 0 0 4 0 0 1294644 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 5514 1 2 97 0 0 3 0 0 1301272 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 11508 4 3 93 0 0 3 0 0 1307788 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 11822 5 3 92 0 0 From what I can tell when the IO goes up the waits go up. Could NFS be the cause here or should I be worried about something else? This is a VPS box on a fiber channel SAN. I'd think the bottleneck wouldn't be the SAN. Comments?

  • tcp msl timeout

    - by iamrohitbanga
The following is given in the book TCP IP Illustrated by Stevens Quiet Time Concept The 2MSL wait provides protection against delayed segments from an earlier incarnation of a connection from being interpreted as part of a new connection that uses the same local and foreign IP addresses and port numbers. But this works only if a host with connections in the 2MSL wait does not crash. What if a host with ports in the 2MSL wait crashes, reboots within MSL seconds, and immediately establishes new connections using the same local and foreign IP addresses and port numbers corresponding to the local ports that were in the 2MSL wait before the crash? In this scenario, delayed segments from the connections that existed before the crash can be misinterpreted as belonging to the new connections created after the reboot. This can happen regardless of how the initial sequence number is chosen after the reboot. To protect against this scenario, RFC 793 states that TCP should not create any connections for MSL seconds after rebooting. This is called the quiet time Few implementations abide by this since most hosts take longer than MSL seconds to reboot after a crash. Do operating systems wait for 2MSL seconds now after a reboot before initiating a TCP connection. The boot times are also less these days. Although the ports and sequence numbers are random but is this wait implemented in Linux?

  • Apache + PHP via FastCGI

    - by Wilco
I'm running into some problems while attempting to run PHP via FastCGI in Apache. I have the FastCGI module loaded, but get the following error when attempting to load a page: The requested URL /fastcgi/php54.fcgi/index.php was not found on this server. Somewhere, it seems that the script to be executed is appended to the executable without any spaces. Is this where the problem likely is? Below I've included snippets from my Apache configuration (hopefully this is enough): LoadModule fastcgi_module libexec/apache2/mod_fastcgi.so FastCgiIpcDir /var/run/fastcgi AddHandler fastcgi-script .fcgi FastCgiConfig -autoUpdate -singleThreshold 100 -killInterval 300 AddType application/x-httpd-php .php ScriptAlias /fastcgi/ /Library/WebServer/FCGI-Executables/ <Directory "/Library/WebServer/FCGI-Executables"> Options +ExecCGI SetHandler fastcgi-script Order allow, deny Allow from all <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.somedomain.com ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot "/Web/www.somedomain.com" DirectoryIndex index.html index.php default.html CustomLog /var/log/apache2/access_log combinedvhost ErrorLog /var/log/apache2/error_log Action application/x-httpd-php /fastcgi/php54.fcgi <IfModule mod_ssl.c> SSLEngine Off SSLCipherSuite "ALL:!aNULL:!ADH:!eNULL:!LOW:!EXP:RC4+RSA:+HIGH:+MEDIUM" SSLProtocol -ALL +SSLv3 +TLSv1 SSLProxyEngine On SSLProxyProtocol -ALL +SSLv3 +TLSv1 </IfModule> <Directory "/Web/www.somedomain.com"> Options All -Indexes +ExecCGI +Includes +MultiViews AllowOverride All <IfModule mod_dav.c> DAV Off </IfModule> <IfDefine !WEBSERVICE_ON> Deny from all ErrorDocument 403 /customerror/websitesoff403.html </IfDefine> </Directory> </VirtualHost> ... and this is the executable: #!/bin/sh PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN=1 PHP_FCGI_MAX_REQUESTS=5000 export PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN export PHP_FCGI_MAX_REQUESTS exec /opt/local/bin/php-cgi54
