• Anyone know of a utility to print a set of similar web pages?

  I need to print potentially a couple of hundred letters (formatted web pages) which are automatically generated by another system. I'm looking for something that I can point at a directory containing these web pages, set the print options once and then it will print them all without any further intervention or messing about. Preferably free. Windows (XP onwards).

  In windows XP, you can add a shortcut to the start menu or desktop for all users by copying/moving the shortcut to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users[Desktop|Start Menu] I know same is the case in Windows 7 with a slightly different path (C:\Users\Public). However I'm still trying to find out how to add a 'shortcut' for all users. There is no C:\Users\Public\Taskbar. Any ideas? Or is it just not available as a feature?

  I have Ubuntu 10.04 guest on Windows XP host. I need to use a specific VPN software that works only on Windows. How should I configure virtualbox/guest so that the VPN connection would be visible on guest? I already tried NAT and bridged network settings. With both of these options I get only normal internet connection to work, but sites requiring VPN don't work on guest, only on host.

  I'm looking for a mouse gestures program for Windows (including XP). I've seen gMote and StrokeIt, both pretty good, but they're both missing one thing: support for Rocker Gestures. If you don't know it, a Rocker gesture is just holding your right mouse button, then clicking your left (and vice versa). StrokeIt, at least, supports Rocker gestures in one direction, but not the other. Anybody know of a good program that has support for Rocker gestures? Thanks

• Unable to convert file to UTF-8

  I am on windows xp sp3 and I am trying to convert a file from ASCII to UTF-8. I use notepad++ to do this. I go to Encoding Convert to UTF-8 without BOM. I save the file, reopen and it is still on ASCII. I am using this file in a webpage and I need the file to be UTF-8, because I have strings in utf-8 and they am seeing little squares with ? on them.
