    Hi, I have a machine behind a firewall to which I have only FTP and HTTP access - is there any remote desktop software available that I can install over FTP and access over HTTP (java based perhaps)? The reason I'm asking is because ultraVNC stopped working for no reason and I need to access the PC (it has installed windows 7 with UAC disabled). thanks

Using mysql and php Is there any reason / value when checking a password to query the database using the user name and password (after sanitizing, of course) and recording a failed attempt when no rows are returned vs querying the database using the user name and then comparing the return password string?   • Vertical scroll is not active when a UITableView is put into a UIScrollView+PageControl

    Hi all, I am trying to simulate a TabStrip using UIScrollView+PageControl. Inside each Tab/Page (UIView is used here), I've put a UITableView inside. The outer scroll view & pageControl work perfect, I can swipe fom one page to the next. Now the problem iswhen there are more entries in the UITableView, the vertical scrolling of the inner UITableView does not work any more. Anyone has an idea? regards, Ming

    Hi all I have a textbox in aspx page in which the user enters text. Now when user clicks on a button called "Sin" the textbox should show "Sin[]" and the cursor has to be placed in between brackets.Like as follows "Sin[<cursor here]" Now when the user clicks on some other button say "Cos" the textbox text should show "Sin[Cos[]]" and the cursor has be placed between the brackets of Cos as follows: "Sin[Cos[<cursor here]]".     Hi, The build_acl action works on localhost but on the shared sever it gives the following error: Warning (512): SQL Error: 1104: The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay [CORE/cake/libs/model/datasources/dbo_source.php, line 549] I cannot change the MAX_JOIN_SIZE value because of the lack of admin privileges. I read in some forum that deleting cache solves the problem, but even that's not working for me. Thanks, Mayank
