I wanted to add some information on about screen, currently it shows the app name and version which is 1.00. Can any one help me how i can add some information in about screen, is it possible to add information programmatically instead of hard coding it ? Any help will be appreciated.

  • CPU ordering in Linux (with hyper threading)

    I'm curious what the CPU ordering is in Linux. Say I bind a thread to cpu0 and another to cpu1 on a hyperthreaded system, are they both going to be on the same physical core. Given a Core i7 920 with 4 cores and hyperthreading, the output of /proc/cpuinfo has me thinking that cpu0 and cpu1 are different physical cores, and cpu0 and cpu4 are on the same physical core.   • Seg Fault with malloc'd pointers

    I'm making a thread class to use as a wrapper for pthreads. I have a Queue class to use as a queue, but I'm having trouble with it. It seems to allocate and fill the queue struct fine, but when I try to get the data from it, it Seg. faults. http://pastebin.com/Bquqzxt0 (the printf's are for debugging, both throw seg faults) edit: the queue is stored in a dynamically allocated "struct queueset" array as a pointer to the data and an index for the data

QMainWIndow that contains stackedWidget , the application starts with stackedWidget index 0 that contains qwebkit widget and after some user flow ,it changes to stackedWidget index 1 that contains QTree widget , to center the first widget i use in the QMainWindow constractor this line of code this-setCentralWidget(ui.webView); but when the application switching to index number 1 im getting exception that is coming from the switching command . why ?

    Can I assert rails/sinatra apps are initialized only once and all requests share the same app instance? or do new requests spawn new app instances? Is it possible to instance custom classes and persist them during app lifetime without using sessions, database storages or third party services? If so, what are the implications from a thread-safeness point of view? I'm trying to figure how to implement a web-based download manager and I'm currently evaluating ruby-based frameworks.

  • Rad upload Java applet and z-index

    I'm using Rad upload for drag and drop upload. It's working perfectly except I'm having a problem with the z-index. I'm also using jquery UI on the site and the overlay doesn't cover the applet. Any ideas on how to control the z-index. It would be nice if there where a setting like in flash where you control wmode. But I've tried z-index on the div that controls it and no result.
