  • Should I design and then look for a CMS or vice versa? [closed]

    I am currently designing an e-commerce site, and unfortunately my PHP is garbage at the moment so open source CMS's are out of the question. I am debating between Joomla and Big Commerce and as the title states I am unsure of whether to build first or try the CMS first to see what limitations I will face. I couldn't find any previous questions on this site, forgive me if this is a stupid/commonly asked question. Thanks for any feedback

  • how do I run CafeOBJ on my Ubuntu OS?

    I am attempting to run CafeOBJ on my ubuntu 12.04 OS. It wont open, when I try to run this on my other windows 7 OS i get a LIBEAY error message. What do I do to run this program that used to run fine on the windows OS. I have installed correctly and all files are present, but the cafeOBJ application is not considered an application by the laptop. In summation I am having LOADS of fun screaming at my laptop to try to make it understand. Please some one help!!!

  • Cannot boot from USB wtih ubuntu 13.10

    I downloaded ubuntu 13.10 amd64 iso and used all of following methods to make a install media. UNetBootin Universal USB installer (from windows) But I cannot boot from USB pen drive. Some time it just drop me in grub menu of previously installed ubuntu 13.04. Sometime it show a message "Could not open //fallback.efi: 14 ..." for a moment and then just stays there(blank screen). How to boot from USB pen drive?

  • Unity --reset in 12.04 doesn't work

    I was trying to disable the 'global menu' feature in Unity, and Unity began to malfunction. I was unable to move windows, the left menu bar had disappeared, and the top panel was also gone. I couldn't open a terminal as I couldn't move windows to get to my shortcut. I used a virtual terminal(tty2), logged in, used sudo, and executed # unity --reset but it never finished.     Every time I try and upgrade from 12.04 to 12.10 it keeps telling me that there are network problems. Is this a problem on "the other" side? My upgrade got through downloading half the packages last night but then went into sleep and then failed. Could it have something to do with that? Would I need to open a terminal and clear a "cache" (no idea what I'm talking about here) Thanks (Solved now, tried it again through out the day and it downloaded and installed fine)
