    - by Syom
    i have the following script <input style="color: #ccc" type="text" value="something" name="country" onFocus="if (this.value == 'something') { this.value='';this.style.color='black';}" onblur="if (this.value != 'something') { this.value='something'}" /> <input type="submit" value="save" /> it works fine, but when i click on submit button, it also deletes the value "something" so, what can i do, if i want, that when i click on submit button, value doesn't delete? thanks

Here are the 2 files: <?php if($_GET['logout'] == 1) { setcookie('authorized', 1, time()-3600); } ?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>Login - photoAdminSite</title> </head> <style type="text/css"> body { text-align: center; font-family: helvetica; } #loginForm { padding: 1em; background: #e3e3e3; width: 260px; margin: 3em auto 0; text-align: left; } </style> <body> <div id="loginForm"> <form method="post" action="confirm_login_credentials.php"> <h2>LOGIN</h2> <p>Username: <input type="text" name="username" /></p> <p>Password: <input type="password" name="password" /></p> <p><input type="submit" value="Login" name="submit" /></p> </form> </div> </body> </html> <?php $username = $_POST['username']; $password = $_POST['password']; require 'database.php'; $q = "SELECT id FROM users_photoadminsite WHERE user_name = '$username' AND password = '$password'"; $result = $mysqli->query($q) or die(mysqli_error()); if (mysqli_num_rows($result) == 1) { setcookie('authorized', 1, 0); header("Location: index.php"); } else { header("Location: login.php"); } ?> i would be really happy about some helpful answers.

  • Design Patterns : Question about "Types"

    - by contactmatt
    Would someone please explain to me what the below paragraph means? This is a snippet from "Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable OO software" Part of an object's interface may be characterized by one type, and other parts by other types. Two objects of the same type need only share parts of their interfaces. Interfaces can contain other interfaces as subsets. - Design Patterns - Elements of Reusable OO software, pg 13

  • Find if there is an element repeating itself n/k times

    - by gleb-pendler
    You have an array size n and a constant k (whatever) You can assume the the array is of int type (although it could be of any type) Describe an algorithm that finds if there is an element(s) that repeats itself at least n/k times... if there is return one. Do so in linear time (O(n)) The catch: do this algorithm (or even pseudo-code) using constant memory and running over the array only twice

    I'm writing a custom module and I'd like to use $form_state of the current form in another non-form api function - custom_facet_view_build(). any help is appreciated :) <?php /** * Implementation of hook_perm(). */ function custom_facet_perm() { return array( 'access foo content', 'access baz content', ); } /** * Implementation of hook_menu(). */ function custom_facet_menu() { $items['faceted-search'] = array( 'title' => 'Faceted Search', 'page callback' => 'drupal_get_form', 'access arguments' => array(), ); $items['facet-search-test'] = array( 'page callback' => 'drupal_get_form', 'page arguments' => array('custom_facet_form'), 'access callback' => TRUE, 'type' => MENU_CALLBACK, ); return $items; } /** * Form definition; ahah_helper_demo form. */ function custom_facet_form($form_state) { $form = array(); ahah_helper_register($form, $form_state); if (isset($form_state['storage']['categories'])) { $categories_default_value = $form_state['storage']['categories']["#value"]; } $form['facet_search_form'] = array( '#type' => 'fieldset', '#title' => t('Faceted Search'), '#prefix' => '<div id="billing-info-wrapper">', // This is our wrapper div. '#suffix' => '</div>', '#tree' => TRUE, // Don't forget to set #tree! ); $form['facet_search_form']['categories'] = array( '#type' => 'select', '#title' => t('Category'), '#options' => _custom_facet_taxonomy_query(1), '#multiple' => TRUE, '#default_value' => $categories_default_value, ); $form['save'] = array( '#type' => 'submit', '#value' => t('Save'), ); return $form; } /** * Validate callback for the form. */ function custom_facet_form_validate($form, &$form_state) { } /** * Submit callback for the form. */ function custom_facet_form_submit($form, &$form_state) { drupal_set_message('nothing done'); $form_state['storage']['categories'] = $form['facet_search_form']['categories']; // dpm($form_state); // There's a value returned in form_state['storage] within this function } /** * Implementation of hook_views_api(). */ function custom_facet_views_api() { return array( 'api' => 2, ); } function custom_facet_view_build(&$view) { dpm($form_state); // form_state['storage] remains NULL even though there's a value on previous submission }

  • Is there a WPF equaivalent to System.Windows.Froms.Screen?

    - by dkackman
    I'm trying to create a WPF window that will encompass the entire Desktop working area. In WinForms I'd do this by getting the Union of all the bounds in System.Windows.Forms.Screen.AllScreens. Is there an equivalent type or other mechanism to get the bounds of the entire desktop in WPF or do I need to use the WinForms type?

  • Google Maps API 3 How to call initialize without putting it in Body onload

    - by Bex
    Hi I am using the google maps API and have copied the examples and have ended up with a function called "initialize" that is called from the body onload. I am using the maps in a few different user controls, which are placed within content place holders, so the body tag is in the master page. Is there a way of calling initialize directly in the usercontrol rather than having to place an onload on the masterpage? Ideally I want my user control to be a stand alone control that I can just slot into pages without trying to access the master page body onload. I have tried calling the Initialize function from my page load of the user control (by adding a start up script), but the map doesn't appear. Any suggestions? My code: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false">/script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> var map; var geocoder; function initialize() { geocoder = new google.maps.Geocoder(); var latlng = new google.maps.LatLng(51.8052184317649, -4.965819906250006); var myOptions = { zoom: 8, center: latlng, mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP }; map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById("map_canvas"), myOptions); $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "/GoogleMapsService.asmx/GetPointers", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", beforeSend: function () { $(".loadingData").html("<p>Loading data..</p>"); }, complete: function () { $(".loadingData").html(""); }, cache: true, success: mapPoints, error: onError }); } function onError(xhr, ajaxOptions, thrownError) { alert(xhr.status); alert(xhr.responseText); } function mapPoints(response) { if (response.d != null) { if (response.d.length > 0) { for (var i = 0; i < response.d.length; i++) { plotOnMap(response.d[i].Id, response.d[i].Name, response.d[i].Lat, response.d[i].Long, response.d[i].ShortDesc) } } } } and on my test master page: <body onload="initialize()"> <form runat="server"> <asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager1" runat="server" EnablePageMethods="true"></asp:ScriptManager> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="MainContent" runat="server"> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </form> </body>

  • .live event doesnt work till second click

    - by ChampionChris
    I have 2 list on a page that are linked. When I drag a li element from list 1 to list 2 the live events on list 1 don't work on the first click only second click. Below is the code that adds the li (obj) to list 2. function AddToDropBox(obj) { $(obj).children(".handle").animate({ width: "20px" }).children("strong").fadeOut(); $(obj).children("span:not(.track,.play,.handle,:has(.btn-edit))").fadeOut('fast'); $(obj).children(".play").css("margin-right", "8px"); $(obj).css({ "opacity": "0.0", "width": "284px" }).animate({ opacity: "1.0" }); if ($(".sidebar-drop-box ul").children(".admin-song").length > 0) { $(".dropTitle").fadeOut("fast"); $(".sidebar-drop-box ul.admin-song-list").css("min-height", "0"); } if (typeof SetLinks == 'function') { SetLinks(); } //CBG Changes adds media ID to hidden field //checks id there is a value in field then adds comma if(document.getElementById("ctl00_cphBody_hfRemoveMedia").value==""||document.getElementById("ctl00_cphBody_hfRemoveMedia").value==null) { document.getElementById("ctl00_cphBody_hfRemoveMedia").value=(obj).attr("mediaid"); } else { var localMediaIDs=document.getElementById("ctl00_cphBody_hfRemoveMedia").value; document.getElementById("ctl00_cphBody_hfRemoveMedia").value=localMediaIDs+", "+(obj).attr("mediaid"); } // alert("hfid: "+document.getElementById("ctl00_cphBody_hfRemoveMedia").value); //END CBG Modifications } this is one of the live() events that dont fire until the second click after the drag. This live() event is in a document.ready function(). // Live for deleting. $(".btn-del").live("click", function(e) { DeleteItem(this); $(this).removeClass("btn-del").addClass("btn-add").parents("li").removeClass("alt").addClass("removed"); var oldTxt = $(this).parents("li").find(".status").text(); $(this).parents("li").find(".status").text("Removed").attr("oldstat", oldTxt); $("#timeHolder input[type=hidden]").val(($("#timeHolder input[type=hidden]").val() * 1) - ($(this).parents("li").find(".time").attr("length") * 1)); CalculateAggregates(); isDirty = false; }); EDIT @dreaton.. Im new to jquery and javascript so thanks for the last tip... Im not sure what you mean about cache the query's. ... the delegete feature is giving me this Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method this is the way I have the code $('#ulPlaylist').delegate('.btn-del', 'click', function (e) { DeleteItem(this); $(this).removeClass("btn-del").addClass("btn-add").parents("li").removeClass("alt").addClass("removed"); var oldTxt = $(this).parents("li").find(".status").text(); $(this).parents("li").find(".status").text("Removed").attr("oldstat", oldTxt); $("#timeHolder input[type=hidden]").val(($("#timeHolder input[type=hidden]").val() * 1) - ($(this).parents("li").find(".time").attr("length") * 1)); CalculateAggregates(); isDirty = false; });

  • Passing password value through URL

    - by Steven Wright
    OK I see a lot of people asking about passing other values, URLS, random stuff through a URL, but don't find anything about sending a password to a password field. Here is my situation: I have a ton of sites I use on a daily basis with my work and oh about 90% require logins. Obviously remembering 80 bajillion logins for each site is dumb, especially when there are more than one user name I use for each site. So to make life easier, I drew up a nifty JSP app that stores all of my logins in a DB table and creates a user interface for the specific page I want to visit. Each page has a button that sends a username, password into the id parameters of the html inputs. Problem: I can get the usernames and other info to show up just dandy, but when I try and send a password to a password field, it seems that nothing gets received by the page I'm trying to hit. Is there some ninja stuff I need to be doing here or is it just not easily possible? Basically this is what I do now: http://addresshere/support?loginname=steveoooo&loginpass=passwordhere and some of my html looks like this: <form name="userform" method="post" action="index.jsp" > <input type="hidden" name="submit_login" value="y"> <table width="100%"> <tr class="main"> <td width="100" nowrap>Username:</td> <td><input type="text" name="loginname" value="" size="30" maxlength="64"></td> </tr> <tr class="main"> <td>Password: </font></td> <td><input type="password" name="loginpass" value="" size="30" maxlength="64"></td> </tr> <tr class="main"> <td><center><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Login"></center></td> </tr> </table> </form> Any suggestions?

  • Problem with svn copy command

    - by Gabriel Parenza
    Hi, Has anyone encountered something like this? I was expecting file.txt to be inside "testbranch/src/" folder after executing the command written command. But I get entry at "testbranch/src" to be a file type rather than directory type! In Web browser if I look under src folder of testbranch, it shows file contents of file.text. svn copy "https://repos/svn/myrepo/trunk/src/file.txt" "https://repos/svn/myrepo/branches/testbranch/src/" -m "Testing"

  • IE7 textbox onfocus problem

    - by Craig
    Because IE won't do document.getElementById(ID).setAttribute('type','password') I've re-engineered the way the password field woirks on this site: http://devdae.dialanexchange.com/Default.aspx so it works in accordance with this idea: http://www.folksonomy.org/2009/01/12/changing-input-type-from-text-to-password-in-internet-explorer-hack/ It works fine in IE8 and FF3. It breaks in IE7 just as you click into the password field. I'm now tearing my hair out. Can anyone give me a clue what's wrong as IE7's diagnosis is just "Object expected, code 0"?

  • PostgreSQL + Rails citext

    - by glebm
    I am trying to move to heroku which uses PostgreSQL 8.4 which has a citext column type which is nice since the app was written for MySQL. Is there any way to use :citext with rails (so that if the migrations are run on MySQL the citext would just use string/text? I found this ticket, but it seems like it isn't going to be a part of rails for a while: https://rails.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8994/tickets/3174-add-support-for-postgresql-citext-column-type
