  • JavaScript: document properties

    - by deb
Hi, is there a "document" property named ssh? It's a simple question. I've seen this in some code at work, but no one in the office wrote the code, so I'm stucked. The line was document.ssh.firstPing(...) firstPing was a method in the code, that is writen in js+php. But I've searched with eclipse throughout all the code and there is no ssh anywhere.

  • There's @interface in my @implementation — why is that?

    - by Mark McDonald
This is a pretty noobish question – I'm looking at some Cocoa sample code and there's @interface blocks in the .m files as well as the headers. For instance, in the AppDelegate class header, a UIWindow and UI navigation are defined as instance variables, but the @property declarations are actually made in the implementation file. Is there a functional reason for this, is it a stylistic choice, or… ?

  • DataBind DataSource Result to ASP Labels

    - by Steven
I have an AccessDataSource TestSummaryADS. I can easily view the results in a GridView or DropDownList by setting its DataSourceID property. How do I bind a value from the results TestSummaryADS to the text of a label? I'm just trying to populate labels on my page with results from the DB entry. C# or VB.NET answers okay.

    - by Michel
Hi, i have a list with objects. The object has a property 'Sales' which is a string. Now i want to create a list of doubles with the values of all objects' 'Sales' properties. I tried this: var tmp = from n in e.Result select new{ Convert.ToDouble ( n.Sales) }; but this gives me this error: Error 106 Invalid anonymous type member declarator. Anonymous type members must be declared with a member assignment, simple name or member access.

  • ThicknessAnimationUsingKeyFrames doesn't work the first time, but second and all subsequent times wo

    - by 110022530536665626169
I have the following Storyboard: 'LayoutMargin' is a dependency property defined in the ancestor Window. This is the problem I'm having: The first time I run the animation it doesn't work - as if the LayoutMargin.Value isn't set. However, the second time I run the animation, and all subsequent times I run the animation, it work just fine. At first I suspected the LayoutMargin.Value was not set prior to the first animation, but it is set. Does anyone have any ideas about why this is happening?

  • .split("1px") into ["1px",1,"px"] in Javascript

    - by Jay
I'm rubbish at Regular Expressions, really! What I'd like is to split a string containing a CCS property value into an array of [string, value, unit]. For example: if I supplied the .split() method with 1px it'd return ["1px",1,"px"]. If I were to supply, similarly, 10% it'd return ["10%",10,"%"]. Can this be done? I appreciate all your help!

  • Access "currentState" from other classes?

    - by Herter
I'm making a little application in Actionscript 3. In my initApp.as I have created another class which needs to edit the currentState, which is only accessible from the main .as (initApp.as). I found a solution such that I can reach the currentState property from my other class: Application.application.currentState. This is however not a good solution as it couples the classes too much.. is there a better way of editing the currentState from other classes?

  • How do I deploy a word template solution and run it regardless of it's location?

    - by user265316
Hi, I'm trying to deploy a Word Template solution that uses VSTO with VS2010. Everything goes well until I try to move the template file away from the folder that has the assemblies (then I get a "failed to customization error"). What is the best way to make sure that file knows where the assemblies are? Should I update the _AssemplyLocation property programatically or is there another way to do this? Thanks.

  • DBTransaction Rollback throws

    - by pdiddy
Looking into the documentation it says that the Rollback method can throw when the transaction is not in pending state (after begin transaction and before commit transaction). I can't seem to find a way to check whether the transaction can be rollback or not. There isn't a state property either.

  • CSS: How to align differently sized images in a line?

    - by Sushi
I am trying to align differently sized images in a line using the vertical-align property as well as by keeping top:50% Now it does solve the problem partially as all the images are vertically in the middle but due to the different sizes of the images they are not aligned "like pearls on a string" I want to somehow make images go top:50% from the centre of the image not it's border.

  • .NET & Worflow, SqlTrackingQuery.GetWorkflows() on wire correct - presented object not

    - by UKShots
With windows workflow when using the tracking service, the SqlTrackingQuery.GetWorkflows() method returns correctly the workflow type and assembly version on the wire from the DB query - but when one comes to query the returned SqlTrackingWorkflowInstance object it's WorkflowType.AssemblyQualifiedName property is returned as the current assembly version of the workflow type (i.e. it looks to matching on FQ type name only and not version). Anyone know how to get to the actual returned data (other than either a custom query or hook)?

  • When to Use Properties & When to Use Methods?

    - by DaveDev
Hi Guys I was looking at the following line of code foreach (PropertyInfo prop in t.GetProperties()) and I noticed that tprovides a method to return the type's properties instead of a property like t.Properties This makes me wonder why sometimes people use properties to make a type's data avilable and other times there's a method provided? Is there some logic behind the decision? Thanks Dave

  • What is the best way to observe the scroll over an element with overflow set?

    - by Phunky
It's simple to observe the documents scroll event but I can't seem to find anything relating to the scroll of any other element with css property overflow being set? To get around this myself i've been observing mousemove which only fires while you hold down on the scrollbar but this would need to be teamed with a mouse wheel observe also to get the full effect. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a better way of implementing this?

  • php: avoiding __get in certain circumstances?

    - by user151841
I have a class where I'm using __set. Because I don't want it to set just anything, I have an array of approved variables that it checks before it will actually set a class property. However, on construct, I want the __construct method to set several class properties, some of which are not in the approved list. So when construct happens, and I do $this->var = $value, I of course get my exception that I'm not allowed to set that variable. Can I get around this somehow?
