  • Looking for ideas for a simple pattern matching algorithm to run on a microcontroller

    - by pic_audio
    I'm working on a project to recognize simple audio patterns. I have two data sets, each made up of between 4 and 32 note/duration pairs. One set is predefined, the other is from an incoming data stream. The length of the two strongly correlated data sets is often different, but roughly the same "shape". My goal is to come up with some sort of ranking as to how well the two data sets correlate/match. I have converted the incoming frequencies to pitch and shifted the incoming data stream's pitch so that it's average pitch matches that of the predefined data set. I also stretch/compress the incoming data set's durations to match the overall duration of the predefined set. Here are two graphical examples of data that should be ranked as strongly correlated: http://s2.postimage.org/FVeG0-ee3c23ecc094a55b15e538c3a0d83dd5.gif (Sorry, as a new user I couldn't directly post images) I'm doing this on a 8-bit microcontroller so resources are minimal. Speed is less an issue, a second or two of processing isn't a deal breaker. It wouldn't surprise me if there is an obvious solution, I've just been staring at the problem too long. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

  • jQuery / jEditable and jQuery UI Dialog. Re-populating table cell.

    - by solefald
    Hello, this is my first time using JS, so i really have no idea what i am doing. I have a table with data, and using jEditable to allow a user to edit the data and POST it to my php script. When user hits "Save", it opens jQuery UI with the data from php script and it seems to work fine, however, if the user hits Cancel or Esc to close the jQuery UI dialog, they and up back on the page, but the cell they tried to edit is now completely empty. How do i get the cell re-populated? Thank you! $(".editable_textarea").editable("/path/to/my/scrip.php", { indicator : "<img src='/images/indicator.gif'>", type : 'textarea', submitdata: { _method: "post", uri: "<?php echo $this->uri->segment(3); ?>" }, select : false, submit : 'Save', cancel : 'Cancel', tooltip : "Click to edit...", cssclass : "editable", onblur: "cancel", cssclass: "edit_destination", callback: function(value, settings) { $(this).dialog({ autoOpen: true, width: 400, modal: true, position: "center", resizable: false, draggable: false, title: "Pending Changes", buttons: { "Cancel": function() { $(this).dialog("close"); }, "Confirm Changes": function() { document.findSameDestination.submit(); } } }); $('form#findSameDestination').submit(function(){ $(this).dialog('open'); return false; }); $(this).editable("disable"); }, data: function(value, settings) { var retval = value.replace(/<br[\s\/]?>/gi, '\n'); retval = retval.replace(/(<([^>]+)>)/gi, ''); return retval; } });

  • Where exactly should i add crossdomain.xml file?

    - by SpikETidE
    Hi everyone... i am trying to create a internet radio.... I use icecast2 for streaming..... edcast plugin with winamp to send the music to icecast... and the xspf web music player (http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/) to connect the user to the icecast server and play the music.... The setup works great and i can broadcast and receive on the local network i use to test the radio.. using xampp... Now the icecast broadcasts online from a windows server with the ip address say xx.xx.xxx.xxx The webpage in which the flash player is embedded is uploaded to www.xyz.com/images/radio This domain has the same ip address from where the icecast server runs. Now when i run the webpage to connect to the radio with the flash player, i get the error in firebug as "xx.xx.xxx.xxx:8000/crossdomain.xml 404 NOT FOUND" But i have created a crossdomain.xml file in the root of the xx.xx.xxx.xxx server... Still it doesn't recognize the file... Can anyone tell me where exactly i should create the file for my setting...??? Thanks a lot in advance.....

  • jQuery selector issue finding image with usemap attribute

    - by Greg K
    I have an image map in my page: <div id="books"> <img src="images/books.png" width="330" height="298" border="0" \ usemap="#map_books" /> <map name="map_books" id="map_books" alt="books"> <area shape="poly" coords="17,73,81,288,210,248,254,264, ..." \ href="/about" alt="books" /> </map> </div> I have a function that tries to find the image in the document using this map: function(elemId) { // elemId = "#map_books" if ($(elemId).attr("tagName") == "MAP") { // find image using this map var selector = "img [usemap=\\" + elemId + "]"; var img = $(selector); if (img.length == 0) { console.log("Could not find image using " + selector); } } It fails to find the image. Could not find image using img [usemap=\#map_books] I've escaped the elemId because it starts with a hash and tried variations of selectors. $("img [usemap$=" + elemId.substring(1) + "]") $("img").find("[usemap=\\" + elemId + "]") Neither find the image. Any ideas?

  • Fastest image iteration in Python

    - by Greg
    I am creating a simple green screen app with Python 2.7.4 but am getting quite slow results. I am currently using PIL 1.1.7 to load and iterate the images and saw huge speed-ups changing from the old getpixel() to the newer load() and pixel access object indexing. However the following loop still takes around 2.5 seconds to run for an image of around 720p resolution: def colorclose(Cb_p, Cr_p, Cb_key, Cr_key, tola, tolb): temp = math.sqrt((Cb_key-Cb_p)**2+(Cr_key-Cr_p)**2) if temp < tola: return 0.0 else: if temp < tolb: return (temp-tola)/(tolb-tola) else: return 1.0 .... for x in range(width): for y in range(height): Y, cb, cr = fg_cbcr_list[x, y] mask = colorclose(cb, cr, cb_key, cr_key, tola, tolb) mask = 1 - mask bgr, bgg, bgb = bg_list[x,y] fgr, fgg, fgb = fg_list[x,y] pixels[x,y] = ( (int)(fgr - mask*key_color[0] + mask*bgr), (int)(fgg - mask*key_color[1] + mask*bgg), (int)(fgb - mask*key_color[2] + mask*bgb)) Am I doing anything hugely inefficient here which makes it run so slow? I have seen similar, simpler examples where the loop is replaced by a boolean matrix for instance, but for this case I can't see a way to replace the loop. The pixels[x,y] assignment seems to take the most amount of time but not knowing Python very well I am unsure of a more efficient way to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

  • how to dynamically replace css?

    - by photographer
    I've got an image on the page (class='image') within the div (class='galleria_wrapper') and want to place a caption (class='caption') at the lower right corner under that image. The image could be vertical or horizontal, and making a fixed padding-right value let's say .caption<{float:right;padding-top:5px;padding-right:90px;} is not working for one or another. I need to switch on the fly padding-right value depending on horizontal or vertical image is currently on the page. I can theoretically access image's width through document.getElementByName('image').width although don't understand where to put that code. So, I probably need something like that: document.getElementByClass('caption').padding-right = (document.getElementByName('galleria_wrapper').width - document.getElementByName('image').width)/2 Where do I put this code? I do have that in my css file: .caption{float:right;padding-top:5px;} which places the caption below the image, but to far to the right (div 'galleria_wrapper' is wider than most of the images supposed to be displayed within that area). I have an img tag in the html: <img src=image title='this is caption' /></li> ...and some JavaScript which makes title displayed styled by the "caption" css definition. How do I assign variable value for the padding-right without in-advance knowledge of particular image's width?

  • What is wrong with this layout? Android

    - by kellogs
    Hi, I am trying to accomplish a view like this: left side = live camera preview, right side = a column of 4 images. But all that I managed with the following xml was a fullscreen live camera preview. Android 1.5 emulator. Thanks <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent"> <proto.wiinkme.SurfaceViewEx android:id="@+id/preview" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" android:layout_weight="3"/> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_toRightOf="@+id/preview" android:layout_alignParentRight="true" android:layout_weight="1"> <ImageView android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:id="@+id/mother_earth" android:src="@drawable/mother_earth_show" /> <ImageView android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:id="@+id/meadow" android:src="@drawable/meadow_show" /> <ImageView android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:id="@+id/trap" android:src="@drawable/trap_show" /> <ImageView android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:id="@+id/whistle" android:src="@drawable/whistle_show" /> </LinearLayout> </RelativeLayout>

  • QWebView not loading external resources

    - by Nick
    Hi. I'm working on a kiosk web browser using Qt and PyQt4. QWebView seems to work quite well except for one quirk. If a URL fails to load for any reason, I want to redirect the user to a custom error page. I've done this using the loadFinished() signal to check the result, and change the URL to the custom page if necessary using QWebView.load(). However, any page I attempt to load here fails to pull in external resources like CSS or images. Using QWebView.load() to set the initial page at startup seems to work fine, and clicking any link on the custom error page will result in the destination page loading fine. It's just the error page that doesn't work. I'm really not sure where to go next. I've included the source for an app that will replicate the problem below. It takes a URL as a command line argument - a valid URL will display correctly, a bad URL (eg. DNS resolution fails) will redirect to Google, but with the logo missing. import sys from PyQt4 import QtGui, QtCore, QtWebKit class MyWebView(QtWebKit.QWebView): def __init__(self, parent=None): QtWebKit.QWebView.__init__(self, parent) self.resize(800, 600) self.load(QtCore.QUrl(sys.argv[1])) self.connect(self, QtCore.SIGNAL('loadFinished(bool)'), self.checkLoadResult) def checkLoadResult(self, result): if (result == False): self.load(QtCore.QUrl('http://google.com')) app = QtGui.QApplication(sys.argv) main = MyWebView() main.show() sys.exit(app.exec_()) If anyone could offer some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

  • JQuery fadeIn() moving other CSS elements on fadeIn()

    - by Infiniti Fizz
    Hi, I've just been learning some jQUery to get a basic image gallery going on a website I'm creating for a hotel but it's currently not going to plan. I've got it so the arrows will cycle through images (no animation yet) but I decided that the arrows should fade in when the image is hovered over and fade out when not but this is messing up the CSS somehow. The arrows start faded out by calling: $('.arrowRight').fadeOut(0);$('.arrowLeft').fadeOut(0); at the start of the jQuery ready() function. This is fine, but when you hover over the image and the arrows fade in, the image shifts to the right and I don't know why. I suppose it could be because the left arrow now fading in means it is getting pushed over by it but the arrow has the following css: position:relative; top: -90px; left: 25px; Should a relative element be able to alter a normal element's position? If you need to try it out, just hover over the large (placeholder) image and they image will jump across when the arrows fade in and jump back when they fade out. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm a jQuery noob. Here is a link to the page: BeanSheaf Hotel Temporary Space Thanks for your time, InfinitiFizz

  • iPhone User Interface Design

    - by Blaenk
    Hey guys, I've just had a nagging question for a while regarding iPhone app user interfaces. For example, consider WeightBot's User Interface. I am wondering, how are most of these user interfaces created? In general, of course. Is there a way to simply design controls (that is, the images) in a program like Photoshop, then use that 'skin' for controls in UIKit? I realize that there are some controls that are probably created by the programmer (custom controls), but I'm referring to the ready-made ones that come in UIKit. In other words, is the concept similar to 'splicing' web site designs? Where a designer draws out the design of the website in something like Photoshop, and then it is cut up into pieces which can be applied to form the actual website? I know this can be done for UIButtons, can this also be done for other controls, and is this how it is usually done? Or perhaps this is done with Core Animation? I've heard this from time to time, so does this mean that the User Interfaces are 'hard-coded'? Or is Core Animation only use for the 'effects', such as applying the glowing effect to the numbers in WeightBot? If there are any resources you can point me to I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

  • PDFView printWithInfo:autoRotate: fails

    - by Brian Postow
    I'm trying to print a PDFDocument that I am constructing from a series of images. In case it matters, I'm doing all of this from within a Mozilla plugin. I create the PDFDocument, and put it into a PDFView, then I call [printView printWithInfo: [NSPrintInfo sharedPrintInfo] autoRotate: YES]; The print dialog comes up (as a separate window, instead of panel. I assume that that comes from being inside a mozilla window, so I wasn't too worried about it. The dialog shows my document, and I can page through it correctly, and everything looks good. However, when I hit "Print" the dropdown with "Layout" etc becomes empty, and the view under that becomes empty. The window doesn't disappear, and the document doesn't print. Hitting Cancel does exactly the same thing. The only thing I can do then is force-quit Mozillla. I based the program off of PDFKitLinker2 from the apple dev site, and that program works. But I can't see any significant differences between it and my version. Any suggestions on where to look? thanks. EDIT: Yes, I know that this is pretty much an exact duplicate of http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2058501/printing-off-screen-pdfviews but that never got a sufficient answer... (And I didn't notice it until just now...)

  • WSE 3.0 crashes when ClearHeaders is called

    - by Daniel Enetoft
    Hi! I'm developing a client-server application in c# using WSE web-service. One of the things that the user can do is send jpg images to the server for backup via the web-service. Recently strange errors have occurred. This does not happen for all users, just a few. On the client side the exception is a System.Net.WebException Exception message: The operation has timed out and on the server the following warning is found in the event viewer: Exception information: Exception type: HttpException Exception message: Server cannot clear headers after HTTP headers have been sent. • android app working on simulator but not on phone

    - by raqz
    i have this app that i developed and it works great on the simulator with no errors what so ever. but the moment i try to run the same on the phone for testing, the app crashes stating • remove a:hover using javascript (not using jquery... don't ask)

    - by Cyprus106
    I thought this would be pretty simple.... Basically, it's a 5-star rating system. When a user clicks, for example, three stars... I want to freeze those three stars right where they're at. I've been trying to simply remove the hover for the a href so it stays what it was at... maybe that's not the right method. I've exhausted absolutely everything I can think of... By the way this is straight javascript, not jquery or anything. It's crazy, I know but all of the JS was written straight.... I've got this class: .star-rating li a{ display:block; width:25px; height: 25px; text-decoration: none; text-indent: -9000px; z-index: 20; position: absolute; padding: 0px; } .star-rating li a:hover{ background: url(images/alt_star.png) left bottom; z-index: 2; left: 0px; } .star-rating a:focus, .star-rating a:active{ border:0; -moz-outline-style: none; outline: none; } .star-rating a.one-star{ left: 0px; } .star-rating a.one-star:hover{ width:25px; } and this code: <ul class='star-rating'> <li><a href="#" onclick="javascript: vote(<?=$id;?>, 1); disableStars(); return false;" title='1 star out of 5' id="1s" class='one-star'>1</a></li>

  • CSS Div Width Problem - Lining divs... widths seem to be off in IE7

    - by jlrolin
    So far, I'm doing this programmatically using VB.net/ASP.net: 'Create Container Div Dim ContainerDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") ContainerDiv.Style("width") = "100%" ContainerDiv.Style("clear") = "both" ContainerDiv.Style("text-align") = "left" ContainerDiv.Style("margin") = "0" 'Create Expand/Collapse Image Dim img As New Image img.ImageUrl = Page.ResolveUrl("~/images/minus99.jpg") img.Attributes.Add("onclick", "change(this.parent);") 'Create Company Display Dim lbl As New Label lbl.Text = Parsetext(pc.NAME) lbl.Font.Bold = True lbl.Style("font-size") = "16px" Dim NameDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") 'NameDiv.Style("background-color") = "#F0D3D3" NameDiv.Style("width") = "375px" NameDiv.Style("float") = "left" NameDiv.Style("margin") = "0" NameDiv.Style("display") = "block" NameDiv.Controls.Add(img) NameDiv.Controls.Add(lbl) ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(NameDiv) Dim SetupDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") SetupDiv.Style("background-color") = "#F0D3D3" SetupDiv.Style("width") = "210px" SetupDiv.Style("float") = "left" SetupDiv.Style("margin") = "0" SetupDiv.Style("display") = "block" 'SetupDiv.Style("position") = "fixed" ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(SetupDiv) Dim UsedDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") UsedDiv.Style("background-color") = "#CFF5CE" UsedDiv.Style("width") = "140px" UsedDiv.Style("float") = "left" UsedDiv.Style("margin") = "0" UsedDiv.Style("display") = "block" 'UsedDiv.Style("position") = "fixed" ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(UsedDiv) Dim RemDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") RemDiv.Style("background-color") = "#BEE0F7" 'RemDiv.Style("position") = "absolute" RemDiv.Style("width") = "210px" RemDiv.Style("float") = "right" RemDiv.Style("padding") = "0" RemDiv.Style("margin") = "0" RemDiv.Style("display") = "block" 'RemDiv.Style("position") = "fixed" ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(RemDiv) This should give me four DIVS inside a container DIV. Here's what it's coming out as: The correct blocks above the non-inline blocks are from a table with the same exact widths as the ones I'm using on the Divs. There isn't any CSS adding pixels to them, I don't think. I need to line these up, and I can't figure out where my problem is here. Any help would be appreciated.

  • How to resize image to fit UITableView cell?

    - by stefanB
    How to fit UIImage into the cell of UITableView, UITableViewCell (?). Do you addSubview to cell or is there a way to resize cell.image or the UIImage before it is assigned to cell.image ? I want to keep the cell size default (whatever it is when you init with zero rectangle) and would like to add icon like pictures to each entry. Images are slightly bigger than the cell size (table row size). I think the code looks like this (from top of my head): UIImage * image = [[UIImage alloc] imageWithName:@"bart.jpg"]; cell = ... dequeue cell in UITableView data source (UITableViewController ...) cell.text = @"bart"; cell.image = image; What do I need to do to resize the image to fit the cell size? I've seen something like: UIImageView * iview = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:image]; iview.frame = CGRectMake(...); // or something similar [cell.contentView addSubview:iview] The above will add image to cell and I can calculate the size to fit it, however: I'm not sure if there is a better way, isn't it too much overhead to add UIImageView just to resize the cell.image ? Now my label (cell.text) needs to be moved as it is obscured by image, I've seen a solution where you just add the text as a label: Example: UILabel * text = [[UILable alloc] init]; text.text = @"bart"; [cell.contentView addSubview:iview]; [cell.contentView addSubview:label]; // not sure if this will position the text next to the label // edited original example had [cell addSubview:label], maybe that's the problem Could someone point me in correct direction? EDIT: Doh [cell.contentview addSubview:view] not [cell addSubview:view] maybe I'm supposed to look at this: - (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { UITableViewCell *cell = ...; CGRect frame = cell.contentView.bounds; UILabel *myLabel = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:frame]; myLabel.text = ...; [cell.contentView addSubview:myLabel]; [myLabel release]; }

  • HTMLAgilitypack getting <P> and <STRONG> text

    - by StealthRT
    Hey all i am looking for a way to get this HTML code: <DIV class=channel_row><SPAN class=channel> <DIV class=logo><IMG src='/images/channel_logos/WGNAMER.png'></DIV> <P><STRONG>2</STRONG><BR>WGNAMER </P></SPAN> using the HtmlAgilityPack. I have been trying this: With channel info!Logo = .SelectSingleNode(".//img").Attributes("src").Value info!Channel = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0).InnerText info!Station = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(2).InnerText End With I can get the Logo but it comes up with a blank string for the Channel and for the Station it says Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. I've tried all types of combinations: info!Station = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(1).InnerText info!Station = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(3).InnerText info!Station = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(0).ChildNodes(1).InnerText info!Station = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(0).ChildNodes(2).InnerText info!Station = .SelectSingleNode(".//span[@class='channel']").ChildNodes(0).ChildNodes(3).InnerText What do i need to do in order to correct this?

  • Why does Facebook iOS dialog for feed publish disappear after login?

    - by Mason G. Zhwiti
    I'm trying to use the Facebook iOS "feed" dialog call to allow my app's user to share something on their Facebook wall. When the facebook app is not installed, it attempts to let them authenticate within the app (presumably using a web view). The issue is that this dialog just disappears once they authenticate. I was expecting the web view to return to the "feed" sharing view. How do I detect that they authenticated so that I can re-open the feed dialog? I've added fbDidLogin to my app delegate, but it's not being called. (I wasn't sure if this would normally be called or not, but I read several people recommending this.) SBJSON *jsonWriter = [SBJSON new]; // The action links to be shown with the post in the feed NSArray* actionLinks = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:[NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys: @"More Videos",@"name",@"http://www.example.com/",@"link", nil], nil]; NSString *actionLinksStr = [jsonWriter stringWithObject:actionLinks]; NSMutableDictionary* params = [NSMutableDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys: @"Test Caption", @"caption", @"Test Description", @"description", @"https://s3.amazonaws.com/example/images/test.png", @"source", self.video.blogLink, @"link", @"01234567890123", @"app_id", actionLinksStr, @"actions", nil]; [delegate facebook].sessionDelegate = delegate; [[delegate facebook] dialog:@"feed" andParams:params andDelegate:self];

  • ez components and AWS PHP SDK makes ez components freak out

    - by David
    Hi, I try to work with ez Components and AWS PHP SDK at the same time. I have a file called resize.php which is just handling resizing images using the ez Components ImageTransition tools. I queue the image for resize in Amazon AWS SQS. If I load the AWS PHP SDK and ez Components in the same file, PHP always complains about not finding the ez Components classes. Code looks something like this: amazonSQS.php: require 'modules/resize.php'; require 'modules/aws/sdk.class.php'; $sqs = new AmazonSQS(); $response = $sqs->send_message($queue_url, $message); resize.php: function resize_image($filename) { $settings = new ezcImageConverterSettings( array( //new ezcImageHandlerSettings( 'GD', 'ezcImageGdHandler' ), new ezcImageHandlerSettings( 'ImageMagick', 'ezcImageImagemagickHandler' ), ) ); Error message: Fatal error: Class 'ezcImageConverterSettings' not found in /home/www.com/public_html/modules/resize.php on line 10 If I call resize.php from another PHP file which has AWS not included, it works fine. I load ezComponents like this: require 'ezc/Base/ezc_bootstrap.php'; It is installed as a PEAR package. Any idea someone?

  • lscape and supertabular in Latex

    - by Tim
    Hi, I would like to put pictures into a supertabular table within lscape enviroment. The code is: \newcounter{themenumber} \newcounter{classnumber} \newcounter{imagenumber} \tablefirsthead{ \hline \backslashbox{Concept}{Class} &\multicolumn{3}{|c|}{Class 0} & \multicolumn{3}{|c|}{Class 1} \\ %\textbf{A} & \textbf{B}\\ \hline} \tablehead{ \hline \multicolumn{7}{|l|}{\small\sl continued from previous page}\\ \hline \backslashbox{Concept}{Class} &\multicolumn{3}{|c|}{Class 0} & \multicolumn{3}{|c|}{Class 1} \\ %\textbf{A} & \textbf{B}\\ \hline} \tabletail{ %\hline \multicolumn{7}{|l|}{\small\sl continued on next page}\\ \hline} \tablelasttail{} %\tablelasttail{\hline} \begin{landscape} \begin{supertabular}{| c || c | c | c || c | c | c |} \topcaption{Examples of All the Concepts. \label{tab:conceptsimgs}} \forloop{themenumber}{1}{\value{themenumber} < 24}{ \arabic{themenumber} \forloop{classnumber}{0}{\value{classnumber} < 2}{ \forloop{imagenumber}{1}{\value{imagenumber} < 4}{ & \includegraphics[scale=0.5]{../\arabic{themenumber}/\arabic{classnumber}_\arabic{imagenumber}.eps} } } \\ \hline } \end{supertabular} \end{landscape} However there is something wrong with the result: no caption is shown, the height of the part of table in each page exceeds the page height and there is something extra unwanted at the last page. See images below: page1 page2 page3 page4 How to fix the problems? Thanks and regards!

  • onmouseover with django / imagekit

    - by Michael Moreno
    I'm using Imagekit. View.py includes: def pics(request): p = Photo.objects.all() return render_to_response('Shots.html', {'p': p}) The following simple code in the template will generate associated images: {% for p in p %} <img src = "{{ p.display.url }}"> <img src = "{{ p.thumbnail_image.url }}"> {% endfor %} I'm attempting to generate a series of thumbnails {{ p.thumbnail_image.url }} which, when mouseover'd, will generate the slightly larger version of the image, {{ p.display.url }} via Javascript. The following code in the template attempts to do so: <html> <head> <HEAD> <script language="Javascript"> { image1 = new Image image2 = new Image image1.src = {{ p.thumbnail_image.url }} image2.src = {{ p.display.url }} </script> </head> <body> {% for p in p %} <a href="" onMouseOver="document.rollover.src= image2.src onMouseOut="document.rollover.src= image1.src"> <img src="{{ p.thumbnail_image.url }}" border=0 name="rollover"></a> {% endfor %} </body> </html> This will display the series of thumbnails, but the larger image will not display when mouseover'd. I believe it has to do with how I'm specifying the variable {{ p.display.url }}.

  • How do I place widgets above and below a listview with Relative Layout

    - by Jay Askren
    I have a list view and want to put stuff both above(on the y axis) and below(y axis) it including images, text views, and a row of buttons. Below is a simplified version of what I am creating. Unfortunately the list covers(i.e. above on the z axis) the header so the header text is not visible instead of being underneath (on the y axis) <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content"> <TextView android:id="@+id/footer" android:text="footer" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_alignParentBottom="true" /> <ListView android:id="@+id/list_view" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_above="@id/footer" android:background="#ff9999ff"/> <TextView android:id="@+id/header" android:text="header" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_alignParentTop="true" android:layout_above="@id/list_view" android:baselineAlignBottom="false" /> </RelativeLayout> Here is the corresponding Activity class: public class SampleListActivity extends Activity { @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.list_activity); } }

  • Getting started with SVG graphics objects in JSF 2.0 pages.

    - by AlanObject
    What I want to do is create web pages with interactive SVG content. I had this working as a Java desktop application using Batik to render my SVG and collect UI events like mouseclick. Now I want to use those SVG graphics files in my JSF (Primefaces) web application in the same way. Trying to get started, I found this didn't work: <h:graphicImage id="gloob" value="images/sprinkverks.svg" alt="Graphic Goes Here"/> I don't mind doing some reading to get up the learning curve. It was just a bit surprising that some google searches didn't turn up anything useful. What I did find suggested that I would have to do this with the f:verbatim tag as if I were hand-coding the HTML. I would then have to add some script to capture the SVG events and feed them back into the AJAX code. If I have to do all that I will, but I was hoping there would be an easier and automated way. So the questions are: How to get the image to render in the first place? How to get the DOM events from the SVG portion of the page back to the backing beans? Much thanks for any pointers.
