    Hi, my OS is Windows Server 2003. I installed the FTP Service and configure it with the IIS 6.0 Console. When I deactivate my firewall, all its okay, but when not, I can't get a connection. Port 21 tcp + udp, port 22 tcp + udp and the whole FTP-Server Application is set as go trouhgt, but don't work. Of course, the FTP ruins on 21. Any ideas

  • Where are xmodmap settings saved?

    I created my own keyboard layout and loaded it with xmodmap .Xmodmap. Now I want to go back to a default layout, but after a reboot the layout defined with xmodmap are still present. What files is modifying xmodmap? By the way, I'm using Arch Linux, and I just want to have again the layout defined in /etc/vconsole.conf (which is the default place to define your keyboard layout with systemd, according to the Arch Wiki).

    I have proxy server that sits in the DMZ. The default site is running the adfs and has a certificate that is about to expire in 2 weeks. I am not sure what are steps involved in applying a new ssl certificate. I know at the least I will install the new certificate(s) in the local store. Go to IIS and change the certificate using the binding settings. Is there any othern place I have update the certificate?

  • How can I find which drivers are the correct ones for my machine?

    I'm currently installing Windows 7 onto a new laptop before imaging it to deploy. I need to install the Wireless and Graphics drivers, but the HP site is offering me both ATI and Intel graphics drivers (at 102MB and 470(!)MB) a pop, as well as Intel, Broadcomm, RealTek and Atheros wireless drivers. Is there a bit of software that will tell me what devices are in the machine so I don't have to go through, trial-and-error and find which is the right driver for the hardware?

    I come across the same problem over and over. I working on computer that is remote and it is missing graphics card drivers. Just has some default drivers that have limited resolution. I would like to install program that will read the chipset on graphics card and tell me the values so I can go on manufacturer website and download the appropriate drivers. Windows 7 or Windows XP application would do, if you know about any.

    I've managed to configure my test Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 Server VM to accept logins (via ssh) from users who have domain accounts in active directory via Kerberos, nsswitch.conf and PAM configurations. The final thing I'd like to happen is locating their home directory on a Windows server share. Each domain account ($USER) has a windows share ala: \\winsrvr\users\$USER. Can someone push me in the direction I need to go?

    At the company I work at, an employee was let go. His laptop was a company laptop with Photoshop CS3 installed on it. Photoshop was deactivated so it could be installed on another computer. The license was bought online and emailed to someone, however, that computer crashed and the email with the license is lost. Is there a way to recover the license from the laptop?     Apache 2.2 CentOS Plesk 9.x I am using Plesk to manage my domain names on my virtual host.and GoDaddy for DNS I have created a new sub-domain blog. I can see the httpd.include for example has a new virtualhost entry for blog.example.com I can also see folders have been created for the subdomain blog vhost\example.com folder But when I try to go to blog.example.com - I get an error - basically the host is not getting resolved My site - example.com is working fine otherwise Any idea what could I be missing ? I did try restarting the apache web server as well
