  • Are there any scripts to synchronize sites?

    I've just set up a fail-over DNS to switch the site to a second host if the first is down. This is great for showing an old / archived version of the site, but I suspect maintenance is going to be a real pain. I moved the files over with rsync in the first place. Is this the kinda thing that could be run as a cron job, automatically moving over newer files?

    I am new to iphone development.I am parsing a XML URL and display the title ,date and summary in a table view.I noticed some of the date were very old like "Wed, 31 Dec 1969 19:00:00 -0500" ,So i don't want to display the dates which are 1 year older than the current year.How to do that?     I want to set my GtkComboBox to have some default value/name, on it as follows: +---------------+---+ | Image Options | X | +---------------+---+ | Image Option 1 | +-------------------+ | Image Option 2 | +-------------------+ | Image Option 3 | +-------------------+ "Image Options" will be just a Title and it will disappear once user selects any option from list. when user click on the list and selects "Image Option 3" then it will display selected value insted of "Image Options". "Image Options" will not be a part of option list.

I would like to use it (instead of strings) as the data type of variables and method arguments (top reasons: type safety, concat-proof, logical comparisons). System.IO.Path provides most of the functionality I want, but it is abstract. System.IO.FileInfo, as I understand, performs IO operations to do its job. I only want a wrapper for the path string. I am creating a simple check list form where my user would tick a check box if he finished that step. What I am planning to do is that, the script would prevent the form submission if there is an "unticked" checkbox and highlight it with a color.
