This static html page is continously updated in the background by a program running on that PC and people access this html page by typing the shared file path directly in the browser. A maximum of 10 simultaneous users are expected to access it. Can any one see the disadvantages or advantages in this type of deployment?

    I wonder which option is more stable (leaving performance aside) and is more widely used (I assume the widely used one is the most stable): apache - mod_wsgi apache - mod_fcgid apache - mod_proxy_ajp apache - mod_proxy_http for a project that will serve REST services with small json formatted input and output messages and web pages, up to 100 req/s. Please comment on apache if you think nginx etc. is more suitable. Thanks.

    Hi I need to restric access to my admin folder to certain people. Those with no authentication ticket should be redirectered to a "not allowed page". How do I identify all pages in my admin folder. I have so far but is it OK?     Well, I would like to build a file hosting website just like other already did, but it is going to be something different by adding search engine, allowing download and upload in full speed for any user, and so on. Unfortunately the web hosting plans, which declared to support UNLIMITED SPACE rarely allows me to host files on those space. So what I need is the unlimited file storage service which could host all of my users' files. I found Amazon S3, already provides such service, but could anybody recommends me for other better ?
