  • aother option for modified preorder tree traversal algorithm

    Hi, been searching for a while now and can't seem to find an alternative solution. I need the tree traversal algorithm in such a way that a node can have more than 1 parent, if it's possilbe (found a great article here: Storing Hierarchical Data in a Database). Are there any algorithms so that, starting from a root node, we can determine the sequence and dependencies of nodes (currently reading topological sorting)? thanks in advance!

    This is a followup question to my other question : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2434125/run-bat-file-in-java-and-wait The reason i am posting this as a separate question is that the one i already asked was answered correctly. From some research i did my problem is unique to my case so i decided to create a new question. Please go read that question before continuing with this one as they are closely related. Running the proposed code blocks the program at the waitFor invocation. After some research i found that the waitFor method blocks if your process has output that needs to be proccessed so you should first empty the output stream and the error stream. I did those things but my method still blocks. I then found a suggestion to simply loop while waiting the exitValue method to return the exit value of the process and handle the exception thrown if it is not, pausing for a brief moment as well so as not to consume all the CPU.     OK I'm completely stumped here: I have installed (and reinstalled) ASP.NET MVC2 installed several times and I still can't see the ASP.NET MVC2 project templates shown in Visual Web Developer 2008 Express. I had checked the default project directory templates and had verified that those templates are installed, for example these templates files are found C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\VWDExpress\ProjectTemplates\CSharp\Web\1033: EmptyMvcWebApplicationProjectTemplatev2.0.cs.zip MvcWebApplicationProjectTemplatev2.0.cs.zip Any idea of tracking what's the problem and fix it?

  • Sound/Silence in a wav file.

    Hi, I am searching for a utility/code that could detect and let me know if my 1 minute wav file contains sound or not ? Other way, if it could detect the duration of the silence(if exists) at any position in the wav file, that would also server the purpose. Does SOX support any command for that ?     Hi All, I am getting "endpoint stalled error" in my CDC device. The usb stack is detecting the cable. The state is set as running but the errorcode is set as 0x11 which indicates 'USB_ENDPOINT_STALLED'. I verified and found that the endpoints has been assigned properly. What would be scenarios when "endpoint stalled error" would be reported? How to handle this? Please advise!

    I'm using .NET 3.5. I think I know the answer to this, but am looking for confirmation so should be a quick one! There doesn't appear to be a generic implementation of OrderedDictionary (which is in System.Collections.Specialized namespace). Is there one that I'm missing? I've found implementations out there to provide the functionality, but wondered if/why there isn't a generic implementation out-of-the-box and if anyone knows whether it's something in .NET 4.0?

    Hi, I am getting "ASP.NET Session Expired" error when viewing SQL Server 2008 reports using the Microsoft ReportViewer web control. I found this article http://balanagaraj.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/session-has-expired-in-asp-net/ which suggests to use one worker process in IIS application pool, but that may affect performance, is there any other solution for this? I tried setting "AsyncRendering" to false already and that didn't work.
