  • How to store a scaleable sized extensible event log?

    Hello everyone! I've been contemplating writing a simple "event log" that takes a paramater list and stores event messages in a log file, trouble is, I forsee this file growing to be rather large (assume 1M entries or more) the question is, how can I implement this system without pulling teeth, I know that SQL would be a possible way to go. XML would be ideal but not really practical for scaleability if i'm not going nuts.   • Is it possible to register a user and submit a comment with one form with Wordpress?

    Is it possible to do both registering for an account and submit a comment at the same time? I want the user to be able to do this all on one page to ecourage the registration rather than be discouraged about typing something, not realizing they had to be registered and thus having to leave the page. I think that this could be done by adding register user action to the submit comment action, but not sure how to do it with the prebuilt wordpress add_action or do_action functions. Has anyone tried this, or know of any plug-ins that do this already? I searched but couldn't find anything helpful. Thanks.

    I am trying to map an entity as following @OneToOne(mappedBy = "localizedLabel") @JoinColumn(insertable = false, updatable = false) @WhereJoinTable(clause = "locale='en_US'") public Localization getEn_US() { return en_US; } I can assure that the data will return only one or null if the not found, but hibernate seems to ignore my @Where clause: ERROR com.eventtouch.bc.business.core.log.LoggingInterceptor - org.hibernate.HibernateException: More than one row with the given identifier was found: 4211, for class: com.eventtouch.bc.business.domain.LocalizedLabel Any ideas on ho to map a @OneToOne relationship with @Where clause?   • Catchall Router on Exim does not work

    I have setup a catchall router on exim (used as last router): catchall: driver = redirect domains = +local_domains data = ${lookup{*@$domain}lsearch{/etc/aliases}} retry_use_local_part This works perfectly when sending emails locally. However, if I login to my GMail account and send an email to [email protected], then I get an "Unrouteable Address". Thank you for any hints to solve this issue.

I would like to use facebook register fbml/fbjs in this case Would like to have facebook login used to login into my site. How to use the sessions is what I would like to know? I would like to make posts to the facebook-wall of the users registered in my site. Also if possible sent messages to them through my code whenever a new post is made to my site. To help promote the website we will be have resellers who will be offering their own branded services through us. Each text input field has instructions pre-filled as values in the input box ex: for a text-input box id='Name', the default value will be set to 'Enter Your Name'. In your opinion, what is the best practice to split a Grails app in several modules? Is there an easy way to read the preferences for another user, than the current one, using CFPreferences?
