  Hi, I am using Visual C++, and I am trying to include a file that uses BYTE (as well as DOUBLE, LPCONTEXT...) , which by default is not a defined type. If I include windows.h, it works fine, but windows.h also defines GetClassName wich I don't need. I am looking for an alternative to windows.h include, that would work with VC++ and would define most of the types like BYTE, DOUBLE ... Thanks

So if column values are 1,3,5 - average had to be 3 if values are 0,3,5 - average had to be 4

  Hi, I'm working on a database program and I noticed that when I'm doing queries with tables that have TEXT/BLOB columns, MySQL will use temp tables and use filesort. I'm not entirely sure when and how this happens, but are there cases where MySQL does not use filesort when there are BLOB/TEXT columns? Like if the sort column is type of VARCHAR() with an index?

  I have a microarray data of 38 row and 7130 columns. i am teying to read the data but keeping having the above error. I debugged and found when i read the data, i have a 1x7129 instead of a 38x7130. I don't know why. my 7130th column contains letters while the rest of the data are numbers.
