I'm looking to write a script that connects to an Exchange inbox (as me) and downloads messages. Is there any open source software out there to support me?
Thanks!
Is there any utility to create/convert a image to binary TIFF image. I want to use that binary tiff image as a input to a software ( an open source project which takes only binary tiff images as input).
How do I copy it? I can only see those two folders when I try to see the contents of the dvd.
And inside those folders I see a .vob file. Do I need to have a dvd ripping software to do the job for me?
I hid one of the accounts on my computer from the welcome screen by adding it to the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList
I was hoping I'd be able to log in to this account by hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del on the welcome screen, but Windows 7 completely ignores this. Is there a way to login to the hidden account on a Windows 7 machine?
I deleted a printer that I had junked - a Canon. Now Zoombrowser EX says to install a printer that is supported by the program software. What to do to install a HP Officejet so the EasyPhotoPrint part of Zoombrowser will work??
I'm using a software that outputs its results in a typical windows forms DataGrid. So you have you typical columns and rows. I would like to copy this data row by row or the entire table. Surely there must be a application for this that I haven´t discovered? THANKS GUYS.
Sometimes, users of our software, which connects to SMTP servers, put in a password, but no username. (Or, rather, their browsers' autocomplete specifies a password, but no username.)
Is there any valid SMTP configuration that has a password and no username? Are we safe in ignoring any password when there is no username?
I have recently installed cuteflow (a PHP based document circulation application) on my machine as I need to customize this software. I have XAMPP 1.7.1 running on a windows xp machine on which this application is deployed. While all my other applications that are running on XAMPP are loading fast, only this application is taking exorbitant amount of time.
The same cuteflow application is running very well on my colleagues machines.
I work with four monitors and software that displays a great many windows. Every now and then things go wrong and I'll end up with a window that is partially or completely "off the screen". Is there a trick or utility that will help me rescue the windows and bring them back in to view.
My goal is to allow people to upload and download large files through their web browser with a simple user interface and user password/account management. Yousendit offers a service like what I am looking for, but it does not make sense to use their service if I already have a web server.
Is there an open source version of Yousendit that I can run on my own web server?
What is this type of software or service called? (calling it an FTP Server does not seem to fit)
Is it possible to view only those elements of GPO that are actually modified/specified?
For example, when looking at RSOP for an OU, I have loads of options which are mostly not specified - can I automatically filter it to show only e.g. that it doesn't allow to use control panel or install software, instead of looking through all options?
I am using Win2003 and I have only the default tools.
Thanks in advance!
I am attempting to login from a Linux client to a set top box running Linux via a USB to serial cable. When I power on the device, I can see the init messages scroll past, and I get to the login prompt, like this:
(none) login:
but I cannot login. The cursor stops flashing as if it is receiving input, but there is no response.
My serial port setup is:
Device: /dev/ttyUSB0
Bps: 115200 8N1
Hardware Flow Control: Yes
Software Flow Control: No
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I have some applications like VMWare, SQL Server, which have a lot services started even without me using the software. I have changed the startup of this services to manual and have created a .bat file to start the services up and then I launch the program.
But, its not a efficient solution. I would like to start the services once the application starts and stop once the application closes as well.
Does anyone know of any solution?
Well, for the project I envisioned I have MY software and want to attach 4 webcams to the PC. I dug deep down into development only to find out that...
Windows won't work with more than 2 webcams?!
Is there a way around that problem?
Information about my configuration:
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Relevant applications running in x86 mode
Canyon or Prestigion 2Mpix web cam (running in 640x480 resolution at 30 FPS)
I'm trying to determine if this is a hardware problem or a software issue so I thought I would ask the serverfault community if there are any known issues with ESX-4 not recognizing more than 4 cores per socket?
I have a PC running Opensuse 11.0 Linux. I currently login using ssh with putty. However this is a command line login. How to do a remote xserver login from windows to run a gnome or kde session. what software should I use?
I have the root password for the Linux PC and admin privileges on vista.

We're trying to figure out how many licenses we need of a desktop data analysis package which connects directly to our SSAS instance.
I'd like know if it's possible to query the history of connection or queries by user so we can determine who is actively using the software.
Any ideas?
I got a web-cam and I feels it's a bit underused.
So I'm wondering what free software I could use with it beside of the obvious Widows Messenger (or MSN or whatever it's name now) / Skype.
I have a windows 7 machine that won't boot completely, even in safe mode. I want to re-image the machine using a generic software image, but would like to keep the user data (including settings etc) that are on there ala Windows Easy Transfer. I can mount the hard disk on another machine - can I use Easy Transfer to transfer the user state of an account on the non-booted OS? Or do I need explore USMT?
Does anybody know a good software tool to scan and repair sectors on harddisks (an alternative to the standard that is included with windows e.g. scandisk/chkdsk)?
I know already about all emergency/ultimate boot cd's, I am looking for a tool that is not on one of the boot-cd's.
Thank you,
Kindest regards,
Marcel
I have set up a windows 2008 R2 server to route email from Exchange 2010 using SMTP Server in IIS.
I have 3 seperate domains and would like to route each one through a different internal and external IP for (IP Reputation etc), at the minute it is only using the primary IP on the server to route email externally.
Is this at all possible using SMTP Server in IIS, or is there any other software available to do this?
Hy Everyone,
I want to manage a kind of private App Store.
All users of my company can download apps or software from the Intranet.
Here is a sample of what I want for a private use :

Does anyone know a open source service that can do that ?
Thx.
Trying to copy a few TBs betweek Solaris 10 u9 systems
A single scp only seems to be able to transfer around 120MB/min, over a 1GB network. If I run multiple scp copies, each one will do 120MB/min, so it is not the network as far as I can see.
Any hints on how to tweak the Solaris settings to open a bigger pipe. Have the same problem with another piece of software that unfortunately does not seem to be able to be split into separate processes.
I have a wireless printer HP 8500 officejet pro and the default gateway changed on the mac but not in the xp so I can't install the software for the wireless printer. How can I make my mac and the xp use the same default gateway address?
