  • Getting $_POST variable from table

    I'm trying to build a sort of resource allocation form. I'd like to be able to print a table from a database, and then allow users to click on each cell that they would like to reserve. Also, being able to drag and select multiple cells. Then send all of this via $_POST to another php script. Problem is, I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions?

  • How to bold text With Compact Framework

    I have an app written in C# for the compact framework (3.5). I am trying to display some text on the form in bold. The Label class does not give me the option to bold my text (I can make it bigger, which eventually gives a bold look, but I want my text 12pt and bold. Is this possible?   • DropdownList reset to to index 0 on load

    Hi, How would I reset my asp:DropDownList element (which has a runat="server") to index 0 every time the page is "reloaded" in firefox (F5 is pressed). If you suggest using javascript...please note that A: I am not using a form and B: I don't know how to access elements that have a runat="server" with javascript If this can be done using script on the .aspx page....please explain things you think an ASP newb would not know (ie. me, lol) thanks, Andrew :)

  • 404 header - HTTP 1.0 or 1.1?

    So why does almost every example I can find (including this question form about a year ago) say that a 404 header should be HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found when we've really been using HTTP 1.1 for over a decade? Is there any reason not to send HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found instead? (Not that it matters all that much... I'm mostly just curious.)

As far as I understand native xml databases might form a proper solution for my case. They obviously store xml documents in highly efficient way. It would be great to learn your experience.   • How do I create a simple seach box with a submit button to bring back a result set in MVC?

    I am very new to MVC and just learning the basics. I have been following along in Nerd Dinner and used the demo as a way to create my own app. I have created a page that lists out some food items with calories, fat, protein,etc... (http://rjsfitness.net/CalorieList) This is one of my own personal sites that I set up to test out MVC. I got a lot of it working but I am stuck on the textbox with a search button.     Below is my code trying to retrieve table name form Resultset ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery("select * from product"); ResultSetMetaData meta = rs.getMetaData(); int count = meta.getColumnCount(); for (int i=0; i<count; i++) { System.out.println(meta.getTableName(i)); } But it returns empty, no mention it is a join select resultset. Is there any other approaches to retrieve table name from reusltset metadata?
