    - by timkl
    I have a table in my markup on which I want to add some divs before and efter like this: <div class="widebox"> <div class="widebox-header">Opret/rediger bruger</div> <div class="widebox-middle"> <table id="Table3"></table> </div> <div class="widebox-bottom"></div> </div> I'm trying to do this with jQuery, like this: $('#Table3').before('<div class="widebox"><div class="widebox-header">Opret/rediger bruger</div><div class="widebox-middle">'); $('#Table3').after('</div><div class="widebox-bottom"></div></div>'); However this is what renders out, the method seems to close my opening divs: <div class="widebox"> <div class="widebox-header">Opret/rediger bruger</div> <div class="widebox-middle"></div></div><!-- unexpected close divs --> <table id="Table3"></table> <div class="widebox-bottom"></div> Anyone know what could be causing this?

  • Add HTML Id's to tags in .aspx file

    - by slandau
    So I'm writing an app that lets the user select a folder, it gets all the .aspx files in that folder, and lets the users check off which ones they want to add HTML ID's to. Then they click start, and this runs private void btnStart_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { for (int i = 0; i < listFiles.CheckedItems.Count; i++) { } } It loops through all the selected file names. How do I open each of these .aspx files in the background, and go through them and add the id="thisItemId" attribute to each tag that's like a , , , , , etc....

  • Drupal incorrectly escapes tags in javascript

    - by sergdev
    I installed drupal-6.16. I applied the patch from the post http://drupal.org/node/222926#comment-930745. It works correctly in simple cases. But following code of counter is handled incorrectly and counter is now displayed on the page after drupal. Drupal modifies the string "alt='1Gb.ua counter' /><\/a>")</a></script> to "alt='1Gb.ua counter' />&lt;\/a>")</a></script> The full code of counter follows: <br><br> Text <br><br> <!-- counter.1Gb.ua --> <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> cgb_js="1.0"; cgb_r=""+Math.random()+"&r="+ escape(document.referrer)+"&pg="+ escape(window.location.href); document.cookie="rqbct=1; path=/"; cgb_r+="&c="+ (document.cookie?"Y":"N"); </script><script language="javascript1.1" type="text/javascript"> cgb_js="1.1";cgb_r+="&j="+ (navigator.javaEnabled()?"Y":"N")</script> <script language="javascript1.2" type="text/javascript"> cgb_js="1.2"; cgb_r+="&wh="+screen.width+ 'x'+screen.height+"&px="+ (((navigator.appName.substring(0,3)=="Mic"))? screen.colorDepth:screen.pixelDepth)</script> <script language="javascript1.3" type="text/javascript"> cgb_js="1.3"</script> <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">cgb_r+="&js="+cgb_js; document.write("<a href='http://www.1Gb.ua?cnt=1416'>"+ "<img src='http://counter.1Gb.ua/cnt.aspx?"+ "u=1416&"+cgb_r+ "&' border=0 width=88 height=31 "+ "alt='1Gb.ua counter'><\/a>")</script> <noscript><a href='http://www.1Gb.ua?cnt=1416'> <img src="http://counter.1Gb.ua/cnt.aspx?u=1416" border=0 width="88" height="31" alt="1Gb.ua counter"></a> </noscript> <!-- /counter.1Gb.ua --> Does anybody have this code working? How can it be fixed? Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Reach self hosted server from LAN

    - by Freefri
    I have a self hosted server with Apache2 pointed with the domain example.com. I have also some virtual servers www.example.com, cloud.examle.com, etc. This server is in my LAN, and when I try to acces to my server within the lan throw www.examle.com y get my router's configuration page. From outside the LAN www.example.com and cloud.examle.com works properly. From inside the LAN 192.168.1.33 (server internal IP) shows the default webpage (www.examle.com), but I can not get cloud.examle.com I also have a LAN name server in 192.168.1.33 with bind9. I set up my gateway 192.168.1.1 with my LAN-NS as primary NS I solve this problem creating a new dns zone in the NS. This are my config files: ;ZONE-1 $ORIGIN . $TTL 86400 ; 1 day home.lan. IN SOA server.home.lan. hostmaster.home.lan. ( 2008080901 ; serial 8H ; refresh 4H ; retry 4W ; expire 1D ; minimum ) home.lan. IN NS server.home.lan. $ORIGIN home.lan. ; Set the address for localhost.home.lan localhost IN A 127.0.0.1 router IN A 192.168.1.1 server IN A 192.168.1.33 mypc IN A 192.168.1.132 ;ZONE-2 $ORIGIN . $TTL 86400 ; 1 day example.com. IN SOA www.example.com hostmaster.home.lan. ( 2008080902 ; serial 8H ; refresh 4H ; retry 4W ; expire 1D ; minimum ) example.com. IN NS 192.168.1.33 $ORIGIN examle.com. localhost IN A 127.0.0.1 www IN A 192.168.1.33 cloud IN A 192.168.1.33 My DNS and my names are working properly now My question are: What do you think about my solution? Can I change the A zone with CNAME to server.home.lan (this is the domain in the LAN to the server)? How can I set a default IP for all my whatever.example.com?

  • Complex jquery selction that also involves custom xml tags

    - by thecoshman
    I want to write a select something like... #window_4 > content > p:eq(0) I think I have this correct, but I have a few selectors that are all similar but I can't test them all at once. Am I right in saying this is selecting an element, who is the fist p tag child of a content tag that is a child of a tag with id 'window_4' If I have gotten this wrong, can you give me some pointers. Would love to be able to simplify this code, I have more code selecting the tag I am after then actually doing stuff with them.

  • Bringing TechNet licensed server into production

    - by David Heggie
    I am currently trialling an install of Windows Server 2008R2 + SQL Server 2008 R2 using license keys from my company's TechNet subscription. If the trial is successful, I'd like to bring the server into production as is (there's a lot of config needed for it that I don't want to repeat) so my question really is is it possible to change the Windows and SQL server licenses from TechNet ones to "proper" volume licenses and legally use the server in production? Or do I have to reinstall everything with volume licences?

  • How to back up a Windows Home Server over the network?

    - by Jay Bazuzi
    One of the very few reasons I have to physically interact with my Windows Home Server is to back it up to an external hard drive, with the "Backup Server" feature. It would be more convenient to plug the external drive in to a desktop PC, and then do the backup over the network. Is there a way to do this? I've heard a little about iSCSI, but as far as I can tell it costs money, and I'm hoping for something free.

  • SQL connection is too slow

    - by user66905
    We have a business web application in ASP.NET + SQL Server 2008. In the beginning, SQL Server and IIS were on the same machine. Now we bought another machine. Current configuration is IIS machine plus SQL Server machine, and they are connected by a 1gb LAN connection. With this configuration our web application is slower than before. Max bandwidth is 1-2% of network, about 15mbps. When we use another threads to the same SQL Server from the same IIS machine, network use is higher. So this is no problem with SQL Server. Ho we can make higher bandwidth for this SQL connection? Specs: .Net 3.5 SQL Server 2008 Standard file transfer can use 100% of LAN SQL connection by TCP/IP protocol SQL logins Pool tested with enable and

  • LDAP authentication: Windows Server2k3 vs. 2k8

    - by wolfgangsz
    We have around 70% linux users, all of which are configured to authenticate against Active Directory through LDAP. In order for this to work, we used the "Windows Services for Unix" under Windows Server 2003, and it all works fine. We are now at a point where the server running this contraption is getting a bit tired and will be replaced with a newer machine, running Windows Server 2008 (where the relevant services such as user name mapping and password changes, etc., are integrated with the OS). And here's the rub: If a new user is configured through the Win2k3 server, then it all works fine. If the same thing is done through the Win2k8 server, then : The ADS plugin on the 2k3 server does not recognize it and behaves as if the UNIX attributes were never set. The user cannot authenticate against ADS using LDAP. Has anybody encountered this problem? If so, how did you overcome this? If you need any additional information to provide further help, just ask and I shall provide it.

  • Grabbing all <a> tags in a specific div and displaying them

    - by Taylor Swyter
    So I'v got a small problem with my portfolio site (you can see it at here) When you click on a portfolio piece, a top section opens up to reveal the details (Title, year, role, description) as well as the photos. I'v been able to get each project to replace all the text data, but I can't seem to get the images to load into the thumbnails. I have been able to get the last image i'm looking for in all of the images on the site, but not display each photo for each project. Here's the HTML i'm working with: <section id="details"> <div class="pagewrapper"> <section id="main-img"> <article id="big-img"> <img src="" alt="big-img" /> </article> <article class="small-img-container"> <a href="#"><img src="#" alt="smallimg" class="small-img" /></a> </article> </section> <section id="description"> <h3></h3> <h4></h4> <h5></h5> <p></p> </section> </div> <div class="clear"></div> </section> <section id="portfolio"> <div class="pagewrapper"> <h2 class="sectionTitle">Portfolio</h2> <div class="thumb"> <a class="small" href="#" title="David Lockwood Music" data-year="2010" data-role="Sole Wordpress Developer" data-description="David Lockwood is a musician and an educator based in New Hampshire who came to me needing a website for his musical career. • Dreamweaver not connecting RDC

    - by thomas
    I am trying to use Dreamweaver to Remote Desktop Connect into a computer where a website is hosted. Normal traffic to this server is routed to another domain, but when accessed by IP (it is my understanding) the traffic never hits any sort of nameserver request, and so stays there. This server is set up so that the only way I can access it is RDC. I can connect using an RDC program, but when I attempt to use Dreamweaver, I get a vague error. The desired action could not be completed because an unexpected client/server communication error occurred. I have Web URL as http://my.ip.number/directory And in the settings panel, I have Host name: my.ip.number Port: 3388 Host directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\directory/directory Username: user Password: ••••••• What could be preventing Dreamweaver form connecting? Thanks! SERVER DETAILS It is a virtual server Windows SERVER 2008 R2 Standard Service Pack 1
