  I'm currently on the fence about using or not using jquery. I've spent hours researching the pros and cons of using jquery (or any library for that matter). One of the big selling points of jquery is that it frees a developer from worrying about browser incompatibilities. I've tried to find any documentation on exactly which incompatibilities it overcomes. So far I haven't found any. Can anyone help me out with this.

  Weird question: I have an iPod Touch and plan to get an iPhone once the next generation comes out. Now, my main machine is a Windows PC which is where the iPod is connected to. As I need a Mac to do development, I wonder if it is possible to connect the iPod to the Mac for Xcode/Development but keep it synced to Windows for Syncing? For example, when compared to normal development of a task taking 1 day to complete, how much more should a TDD driven task take? 50% more time or 70% more time?   The TouchUtils class in the android documentation has functions like drag() [http://developer.android.com/intl/de/reference/android/test/TouchUtils.html#drag(android.test.InstrumentationTestCase,%20float,%20float,%20float,%20float,%20int)], but they do not support multi touch gestures, like a two finger swipe. Looking at the MotionEvent.obtain() methods, there does not seem to be any way of invoking a "virtual" multi touch event from a testcase. Anyone has got it working?

• Unknown margin being added to a footer in IE6 + 7. I've tried every fix I can think of =S

  So yeah, like I said, I've spent a few hours trying to fix this bug in the footer that add's an extra 20-30px on to the bottom of the page in IE6 and 7. I've currently set all bottom margins to 0 so as to find what's causing it, I then scoured ie developer tools but came up empty.
