  • Visual Studio Stop Debugging on IE Close - WebSite?

    Hi all, Would like to know if there is a setting anywhere which causes debugging to automatically stop when IE closes, and also if there is a way for this to work the other way around and IE to close if debugging stops. I know that this works when the project type I'm working on is a 'Web Application', I'd like to know if the same functionality exists when working on a 'Web Site' Thanks all.

    So, I'm grabbing data from a sharepoint 2007 announcements list, and displaying it on another site. I need to make sure that the web part that I created is not displayed for people who don't have permissions for the site I'm getting the data from. How do I "disable" the web part if a user doesn't have permissions? I've tried this.enabled = false in the onload() event, didn't work though.

    I want to a Java ME application that transfers any SMS received to a PC using bluetooth. The PC can then direct the Java ME application via bluetooth to send a response SMS. Is there library available for this architecture or I have to design it myself? Is this approach correct or a better one exists? I want to use bluetooth as then I will not have dependency on the cable.

Interpreted languages like PHP or Ruby have the advantage that the configuration is just code that is executed. In .net, doing stuff in code requires a redeployment, which defeats the purpose. Now, before I build my own web.config replacement based on Boo or PowerShell I wanted to know if there is an existing one?
