  • Set focus on a component with Apache Wicket?

    - by vagabond
How do you set focus on a component with Apache Wicket? Searching leads to very little information, mostly on setting the default field. I do not want to set a default field, rather I am looking to set focus when, for example, a specific radio button is selected.

    - by user367752
What is the best Django syncdb crash debugging technique ? I've previously asked a question about a problem with manage.py syncdb returning an exception and the answer was that the app has a wrong import. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2734721/django-manage-py-syncdb-not-working I'd like to know the technique used to find the place where there is a wrong import. I tried ./manage.py syncdb --verbosity=2 but I didn't get any more information that way.

  • Elf: Dump symbol value in BSS, DATA or RODATA?

    - by noloader
I have a ELF shared object with a symbol initialized to a value. I want to know what the value of a symbol is. I know objdump -T will give me the symbol's address and length but I need the value: $ arm-linux-androideabi-objdump -T libcrypto.so.1.0.0 | grep -i FIPS_signature 001a9668 g DO .bss 00000014 FIPS_signature However, hexdump knows nothing about ELF sections, offsets and virtual addresses, so I can't use the information: $ hexdump -v -x -n 0x14 -s 0x001a9668 libcrypto.so.1.0.0 $ How do I dump the value of the symbol? • getting the "this" that a function's caller was called with in JavaScript

    - by David Morrissey
Is it possible to get the this that a function's caller was called with in JavaScript without passing this to the arguments in a way which supports IE as well as Firefox/Chrome et al? For example: var ob = { callme: function() { doSomething() } } function doSomething() { alert(doSomething.caller.this === ob) // how can I make this work? } ob.callme() I'm starting to suspect it's not, but I thought I may as well ask as it'd make my code much shorter and easier to read. Thanks for any information!

  • Using Windows 7 taskbar features in PyQt

    - by Matze
Hi all. I am looking for information on the integration of some of the new Windows 7 taskbar features into my PyQt applications. Specifically if there already exists the possibility to use the new progress indicator (see here) and the quick links (www.petri.co.il/wp-content/uploads/new_win7_taskbar_features_8.gif). If anyone could provide a few links or just a "not implemented yet", I'd be very grateful. Thanks a lot.

  • Generic data input form in asp.net mvc application

    - by Diego
Hello, I have an application that have EF 16 classes that share this information: They all are classes only with a key field and a description. I think it should be a waste if I make a controller with just 1 method just to present a form to fill these classes info, then I was thinking in to make a generic form(with key, description) and dynamically fill the right class through a sort of selection the selected info in any way, any good suggestion or pattern to do that? Where the generic methods should be located.

  • Finding leaks under GeneralBlock-16?

    - by erastusnjuki
If ObjectAlloc cannot deduce type information for the block, it uses 'GeneralBlock'. Any strategies to get leaks from this block that may eliminate the need of my 'trial and error' methods that I use? The Extended Detail thing doesn't really do it for me as I just keep guessing.

  • Is there any sence in performing binary AND with a number where all bits are set to 1

    - by n535
Greetings everybody. I have seen examples of such operations for so many times that i began to think that i am getting something wrong with binary arithmetics. Is there any sense to perform the following: byte value = someAnotherByteValue & 0xFF; I don't really understand this, because it does not change anything anyway. Thanks for help. P.S. I was trying to search for information both elsewhere and here, but unsuccessfully.

I am using xVal and castle validation on my view models, is there some sort of standard to get jquery validate to display errors coming from ajax responses?

  • Migrate clearcase to perforce

    - by stimms
I have a large quantity of clearcase data which needs to be migrated into perforce. The revisions span the better part of a decade and I need to preserve as much branch and tag information as possible. Additionally we make extensive use of symbolic links, supported in clearcase but not in perforce. What advice or tools can you suggest which might make this easier?

  • Array.sort Sorting Stability in Different Browsers

    - by Boushley
What is the stability of Array.sort in different browsers. I know that the ECMA Script specification does not specify which algorithm to use, nor does it specify whether the sort should be stable. I've found this information on for Firefox https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Core_JavaScript_1.5_Reference/Global_Objects/Array/sort which specifies that firefox uses a stable sort. Does anyone know about IE 6/7/8, Chrome, Safari?
