  • Protobuf-net Deserialize Open Street Maps

    - by jonperl
    For the life of me I cannot deserialize the protobuf file from Open Street Maps. I am trying to deserialize the following extract: http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/north-america/us-northeast.osm.pbf to get Nodes and I am using http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-net/ as the library. I have tried to deserialize a bunch of different objects but they all come up null. The proto files can be found here: http://trac.openstreetmap.org/browser/applications/utils/export/osm2pgsql/protobuf Any suggestions?

Is there a way that would allow you to add buttons or forms to the browser UI, since this is not possible with an Input manager or Service menu?

  • Ruby on Rails solution for scrubbing data of WYSIWYG editor user input

    - by Jimmy
    Hey everyone, I am working on a simple blogging type ruby on rails application and I have everything working through tinyMCE for a nice WYSIWYG editor so the user can add some simple things like images/youtube videos and lists. What I am looking for is a nice solution for blacklisting certain elements to be filtered out of the data when it is displayed. So is there a solution for this available as a gem or available to download anywhere? Thanks!

  • Are there any TFS 2010 Dashboards that support multi-project queries?

    - by devlife
    Does anyone know of a TFS 2010 Dashboard that is able to utilize multi-project queries? Our group has several distinct projects that must be managed at the same time. TFS itself supports this. Simply by excluding the Project = @Project (or whatever) we can get back the results we're looking for. Our issue is that we would like to find a nice dashboard (like Telerik Work Item Manager) that also supports this.

  • SelectedItem in ListView binding

    - by Matt
    I'm new in wfp. In my sample application I'm using a ListView to display contents of property. I don't know how to bind SelectedItem in ListView to property and then bind to TextBlock. Window.xaml <Window x:Class="Exec.App" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="Main window" Height="446" Width="475" > <Grid> <ListView Name="ListViewPersonDetails" Margin="15,12,29,196" ItemsSource="{Binding Persons}" SelectedItem="{Binding CurrentSelectedPerson}"> <ListView.View> <GridView> <GridViewColumn Header="FirstName" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding FstNamePerson}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="LastName" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding SndNamePerson}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="Address" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding AdressPerson}"/> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> <TextBlock Height="23" Name="textFirstNameBlock" FontSize="12" Margin="97,240,155,144"> <Run Text="Name: " /> <Run Text="{Binding CurrentSelectedPerson.FstNamePerson}" FontWeight="Bold" /> </TextBlock> <TextBlock Height="23" Name="textLastNameBlock" FontSize="12" Margin="97,263,155,121"> <Run Text="Branch: " /> <Run Text="{Binding CurrentSelectedPerson.SndNamePerson}" FontWeight="Bold" /> </TextBlock> <TextBlock Height="23" Name="textAddressBlock" FontSize="12" Margin="0,281,155,103" HorizontalAlignment="Right" Width="138"> <Run Text="City: " /> <Run Text="{Binding CurrentSelectedPerson.AdressPerson}" FontWeight="Bold" /> </TextBlock> </Grid> </Window> MainWindow.xaml.cs Tman manager = new Tman(); private List<Person> persons; public List<Person> Persons { get { return this.persons; } set { if (value != null) { this.persons = value; this.NotifyPropertyChanged("Data"); } } } private Person currentSelectedPerson; public Person CurrentSelectedPerson { get { return currentSelectedPerson; } set { this.currentSelectedPerson = value; this.NotifyPropertyChanged("CurrentSelectedItem"); } } public event PropertyChangedEventHandler PropertyChanged; private void NotifyPropertyChanged(string propertyName) { var handler = this.PropertyChanged; if (handler != null) { handler(this, new PropertyChangedEventArgs(propertyName)); } } private void Window_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e){ ListViewPersonDetails.ItemsSource= manager.GetPersons(); } Person.cs class Person { public string FirstName { get; set; } public string LastName { get; set; } public string Address { get; set; } } Thanks for any help.

  • Feeding PDF through IInternetSession to WebBrowser control - Error

    - by Codesleuth
    As related to my previous question, I have developed a temporary asynchronous pluggable protocol with the specific aim to be able to serve PDF documents directly to a WebBrowser control via a database. I need to do this because my limitations include not being able to access the disk other than IsolatedStorage; and a MemoryStream would be far better for serving up PDF documents that average around 31kb. Unfortunately the code doesn't work, and I'm getting an error from the WebBrowser control (i.e. IE): Unable to download . Unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later. The line in my code where this occurs is within the following: pOIProtSink.ReportData(BSCF.BSCF_LASTDATANOTIFICATION, (uint)_stream.Length, (uint)_stream.Length); However, if you download the project and run it, you will be able to see the stream is successfully read and passed to the browser, so it seems like there's a problem somewhere to do with the end of reading the data: public uint Read(IntPtr pv, uint cb, out uint pcbRead) { var bytesToRead = Math.Min(cb, _streamBuffer.Length); pcbRead = (uint)_stream.Read(_streamBuffer, 0, (int)bytesToRead); Marshal.Copy(_streamBuffer, 0, pv, (int)pcbRead); return (pcbRead == 0 || pcbRead < cb) ? HRESULT.S_FALSE : HRESULT.S_OK; } Here is the entire sample project: InternetSessionSample.zip (VS2010) I will leave this up for as long as I can to help other people in the future If anyone has any ideas why I might be getting this message and can shed some light on the problem, I would be grateful for the assistance. EDIT: A friend suggested inserting a line that calls the IInternetProtocolSink.ReportProgress with BINDSTATUS_CACHEFILENAMEAVAILABLE pointing at the original file. This prevents it from failing now and shows the PDF in the Adobe Reader control, but means it defeats the purpose of this by having Adobe Reader simply load from the cache file (which I can't provide). See below: pOIProtSink.ReportProgress(BINDSTATUS.BINDSTATUS_CACHEFILENAMEAVAILABLE, @"D:\Visual Studio Solutions\Projects\InternetSessionSample\bin\Debug\sample.pdf"); pOIProtSink.ReportData(BSCF.BSCF_LASTDATANOTIFICATION, (uint)_stream.Length, (uint)_stream.Length); This is progress though, I guess.

  • Flex PopUpManager: How can I detect the existence of a modal popup?

    - by Glenn
    My Flex 3 application has some modal dialogs displayed via the PopUpManager, but there are times when I'd like other view components to know there is popup displayed. The PopUpManager doesn't have any method for actually checking the existence of popups. Is there any other way to detect this in flash/flex without writing my own global manager? (also systemManager.popUpChildren.numChildren == 0 even when there's a modal popup) Cheers.
