  • Which Database to use for CMS project in ASP.NET - SQLite or SQL server compact?

    Hello there I am working on a CMS project using ASP.Net 3.5/Visual studio 2008.This is the first week of the project and I am working on the design of the system right now. Needless to say that this is my first project of this scale and I have no idea of what I am doing. The requirements of the project ask for a light but functional CMS, one which is easy to deploy.So the question is which database to use in this scenario SQLCE or SQLite? Please Help?

  • MYSQL query to return rows that are NOT in a set

    Hi, I have two tables: Contact (id,name) Link (id, contact_id, source_id) I have the following query which works that returns the contacts with the source_id of 8 in the Link table. SELECT name FROM `Contact` LEFT JOIN Link ON Link.contact_id = Contact.id WHERE Link.source_id=8; However I am a little stumped on how to return a list of all the contacts which are NOT associated with source_id of 8. A simple != will not work as contacts without any links are not returned. Thanks.

  • jquery ajax post callback - manipulation stops after the "third" call

    EDIT: The problem is not related to Boxy, I've run into the same issue when I've used JQuery 's load method. EDIT 2: When I take out link.remove() from inside the ajax callback and place it before ajax load, the problem is no more. Are there restrictions for manipulating elements inside an ajax callback function. I am using JQuery with Boxy plugin. When the 'Flag' link on the page is clicked, a Boxy modal pops-up and loads a form via ajax. When the user submits the form, the link (<a> tag) is removed and a new one is created from the ajax response. This mechanism works for, well, 3 times! After the 3rd, the callback function just does not remove/replace/append (tested several variations of manipulation) the element. The only hint I have is that after the 3rd call, the parent of the link becomes non-selectable. However I can't make anything of this. Sorry if this is a very trivial issue, I have no experience in client-side programming.   • Possible to download entire whois database / list of registered domains?

    I wanted to do some analysis on registered domain names. Looks like I can hit whois.internic.net to get information about each domain, but it also looks like there are rate limits that prevent me from doing large numbers of queries. Is there a way to periodically (say daily) grab the entire whois database? I really only care about whether a domain is registered or not, so I don't need the full whois information.

    I want to use a table-valued database function in the where clause of a query I am building using LLBLGen Pro 2.6 (self-servicing). SELECT * FROM [dbo].[Users] WHERE [dbo].[Users].[UserID] IN ( SELECT UserID FROM [dbo].[GetScopedUsers] (@ScopedUserID) ) I am looking into the FieldCompareSetPredicate class, but can't for the life of me figure out what the exact signature would be.     Hello, I have created an application that records a series of longitude and latitude values in a SQLite database and display them as a coloured track on a MapActivity. I now want to be able to export this data somehow (preferably to a file) so a user can upload the values to a website showing a Google Map API. My question is: what would be the quickest way to export the data (and in what file format: GPX, XML, CSV) to the SD card located on the Android device. Many thanks.
