  • MS SQL and Indentity column

    Hi, I just noticed that if I have an identity column in a table, when I insert new rows MS SQL 2008 is automatically filling up the sequence if there are discontinuity. I mean, if in my identity column I have 1,2,5,6 if I insert other two rows in the table the system puts automatically 3,7 in the identity column. Do you know how to control this behavior? THANKS

    Hi, A portion of my laptop screen broke. Is there any kind of software that will just ignore that part and resize everything accordingly? It's like 1/6 of the screen on the right that makes anything over there impossible to see. If not, what would be the best programming language to go about making my own program? It is a PC but I can also run Ubuntu if that would be easier to make a program for.

    Hi I have image upload form, user attaches aimage file, and selects image size to resize the uploaded image file(200kb, 500kb, 1mb, 5mb, Original). Then my script needs to resize image file size based on user's optional size, but im not sure how to implement this feature, For example, user uploads image with one 1mb size, and if user selects 200KB to resize, then my script should save it with 200kb size.     Hi still stuck with the ugly scheme the problem this time is to get the median of three values (easy) I did all these : (define (med x y z) (car(cdr(x y z))) and it was accepted but when testing it (med 3 4 5) I will get this error Error: attempt to call a non-procedure (2 3 4) and when entering letters inetead of number i got (md x y z) Error: undefined varia y (package user) using somthin else than x y z i got (md d l m) Error: undefined variable d (package user) so what is wronge ?!

    Hi. I'm trying to do the following in a bash script: com=`ssh host "ls -lh" ` echo $com It works, but the echo will break the output (instead of getting all lines in a column, I get them all in a row). If I do: ssh host ls -lh in the CLI it will give me the correct output + layout. Any ideas?

    Hi all, I did developed a custom SharePoint Web Service . It is working fine when using http. But when we configure SSL(https) , it is not working and throwing the below error. Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Security.SharePointPermission, Microsoft.SharePoint.Security, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bcee11233hj' failed.     Hi there. I'm using Qt 4.6.2 and i have problem with QCSS. I have own Q_PROPERTY(QFont myFont READ myFont SET setMyFont). I want to change it with QCSS but it doesn't work. I've tried using normal font syntax but it doesn't work. I've also tried few other combinations like: qproperty-myFont: font(serif 20 1 0) font(serif 20 bold) QFont(serif 20 1 0) QFont(serif 20 bold) QFont(bold 20px serif) etc.

  • Firing MouseLeftButtonDown event programmatically

    Hi, I'm trying to manually fire a MouseLeftButtonDown event on a WPF control programmatically, as I am using the Microsoft Surface SDK, which does not fire MouseLeftButtonDown events, but ContactDown events. Basically I'm trying to push the MouseLeftButtonDown event down to the control, to fire off the correct behavior on the control, while handling a ContactDown event. I'm guessing I have to somehow use the RaiseEvent method on the control to do this with MouseButtonEventArgs, but I'm having some trouble figuring out the parameters.
