How are \r and \n different. I think it has something to do with Unix vs. Windows vs. Mac, but I'm not sure how exactly they're difference, and which to search for/match in regexes.
I'm looking for a "SINGLE INSTALLER" solution for PHP Development.
Is there anything out there which will give me a nice IDE, Web Server, Debugger, Database, etc, on a single install image (*.msi or *.exe)?
This of course would be completely opposite of Eclipse PDT, which requires you to search and locate a bunch of additional components which never quite work together.
Each logfile is titled based on the date it was created in the format YYYY-MM-DD.txt. I need to search each file for five different keywords and output five files prepended with the specific keyword and then the original logfile name. Example: Test-YYYY-MM-DD.txt
grep -i -w 'keyword1' YYYY-MM-DD.txt Keyword1-YYYY-MM-DD.txt
If it's also possible to email each new file to a different person, that would be helpful as well.

Want to check that my site map contains a page.
Could just iterate through SiteMap.RootNode.GetAllNodes() but is there a way to search for a page without iterating manually?
Taking into consideration that NHibernate has been available for some time I thought that there would be a book available already. A search on amazon turned out just one that apparently has been delayed (Manning). Meanwhile, it looks that there seems to be coming many books on Microsoft Entity Framework. Is there any significance in that?
I have this to add a class to the main table that the report is in if there is no data returned.
$('#report-area table td:contains("Sorry, your search did not return any data")').parents('#reportArea').addClass('no-report-data')
However, I have another div area "#report-footer" but it's not inside #report-area. I'd like to also add the .no-report-data class to "#report-footer" as well but in this case I don't think the .parents selector will work. Is there another selector I can use to do this?
I have a merging conflict, using Mercurial 1.0.2:
merging test.h
warning: conflicts during merge.
merging test.h failed!
6 files updated, 0 files merged, 0 files removed, 1 files unresolved
There are unresolved merges, you can redo the full merge using:
hg update -C 19
hg merge 18
I can't figure out how to resolve this. Google search results instruct to use:
hg resolve
but for some reason my Mercurial (v1.0.2) doesn't have a resolve command:
hg: unknown command 'resolve'
How can I resolve this conflict?
System.DllNotFoundException was unhandled Message=Unable to load DLL 'sqlite3': The specified module could not be found.
I already reference the DLL. I check it on Debug folder and it was there. I also search how to "include" it in the project but they don't specifically explain how to do it.
I'm following this example: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/22165/Using-SQLite-in-your-C-Application

My fonts of choice usually default to text figures which is one reason I like them. However, for tables or headings I'd like to specify that lining figures should be used. Is there a way to do so in CSS?
(To appease the search:
old-style numerals, text figures, non-lining figures, medieval numerals
lining numerals, titling figures)
I have two header files named string.h in different libraries, they are conflicted with each other and even conflicted with standard C include file of the same name.
There is no need to use any string.h except standard one, but I need to include libraries headers paths in GCC search path. Currently I use something like -I /usr/local/include/lib1 -I /usr/local/include/lib2, but that way I can not include standard C string.h.
What is the right way to resolve such conflicts?
Hi
Working with iPhone simulator 3.1.3 - Trying to add a framework to my project - MediaPlayer.framework.
I tried the "Add existing framework" method - but cannot find the file in folder "Frameworks". Am I looking in the wrong place? Wrong filename? Wrong space/time continuum?
I also did a search for the file - to no avail. Not in /System/Library/Frameworks/
Do I have to download it?
Hey Everyone,
I need to search a bunch of files for anything that contains either "tblPayment" or "tblInvoice"
I also want to match any tables named "tblPaymentMethod", "tblInvoiceItem", "tblInvoicePayment"
Anybody care to help me out with how to write a regular expression for this?
Thanks again!
I'm working on an events website so dates are very important search terms, ie: 'whats on on fri 14th september'
I've seen it done in various methods for example:
domain/whats-on/city-hall/14-09-2010/event-name.html
domain/whats-on/city-hall/2010/09/14/event-name.html
the first is 'shallower'.
the second could be clearer for google to synonym-ize as a date,
has anyone else got any experience or input?
I am working on a public-facing web site which serves up articles for people to read. After some time, articles become stale and we remove them from the site. My question is this: what is the best way to handle the situation when a search engine visits a URL corresponding to a removed article? Should the app respond with a permanent redirect (301 Moved Permanently) to a "article not found" page, or is there a better way to handle this?
I have a column which is integer and I want to search all numbers starting with 1500. I know I could use something like left(accountid,4)= 1500. But is that an optimum solution or is there a better approach? I am using Sql Server 2005.

I have a script that I'm running from the home directory to search for all files called "script.sh" that contain the string "watermelon". It's not finding anything but I can clearly see these scripts in the subdirectories. Could someone please suggest a change to the command I'm using:
find . -name script.sh | grep watermelon
So I want to make a program that allows you to store and search for user names/passwords for online sites there signed up to.
I know C# has some database options but I don't know much about it. I also heard that it can read/write excel files.
Whats do you think is best for storing the data?
ALSO do databases need to be stored online on a sever, or can they reside in the program
files?

I did a little search on this but couldn't find anything useful.
The point being that if String value is either "true" or "false" the return value should be true. In every other value it should be false.
I tried these:
String value = "false";
System.out.println("test1: " + Boolean.parseBoolean(value));
System.out.println("test2: " + Boolean.valueOf(value));
System.out.println("test3: " + Boolean.getBoolean(value));
All functions returned false :(
I try to search for it but I just cant. I am running Windows 7 on Lenovo G460 laptop. I tried to install Ubuntu on it but I cannot use Wireless to connect to the internet for some reason.
