  • What's the best library to do a URL hash/history in JQuery?

    I've been looking around JQuery libraries for the URL hash, but found none that were good. There is the "history plugin", but we all know it's buggy and isn't flexible. I am loading my pages inside a div. I'll need a way to do back/forward along with the url hashing. mydomain.com/#home mydomain.com/#aboutus mydomain.com/#register What's the best library that can handle all of this?

    Hey all... I've been playing around with the iPad SDK looking for ways to improve my current iPhone app. I've got a couple place where I think the new "SplitView" would look pretty good. My question is if it's possible to navigate to a "SplitView" with my current navigation based application? Mainly I'm not sure how to push that SplitViewController onto my current stack of views. Any thoughts?

I basically know what that means, quickly get the very base of your app up and working, see if there are conceptual problems and then add the rest. Am I right with how I understand prototyping?     I am working on a on-screen keyboard for Android, and I need to recognize starting points, turning points and end points of lines drawn by the user on the keyboard. A simple straightening function would be nice, as it is difficult to draw a perfectly straight line even with a stylus, not to mention finger-only touchscreens today.     Hi, Is it possible to extend user's session expiration time in CI. What I want to do is, by default every user's session cookie lasts for example 1 day, but every time user visits the site his session expiration time is extended by one more day. I don't know if it is a good idea to do this, maybe I should just set cookies life time for like a week and that's it? Thanks!

Ethereal/Wireshark Nmap any particular simulators (e.g. ns) any special purpose sniffer any particular frameworks, (e.g. iptables) I am looking at must have, and good/advantage to have tools/framework in ones profile/skill set. I think Wireshark and Nmap are must haves.

  • FIFO semaphore test

    Hello everyone, I have implemented FIFO semaphores but now I need a way to test/prove that they are working properly. A simple test would be to create some threads that try to wait on a semaphore and then print a message with a number and if the numbers are in order it should be FIFO, but this is not good enough to prove it because that order could have occurred by chance. Thus, I need a better way of testing it. If necessary locks or condition variables can be used too. Thanks
