    Greetings all, We are developing a QT application (QT 4.6 LGPL version) in Linux platform.All the libraries we use are cross-platform. Now we want to port it into Windows and continue develop in Windows. My questions are: Which compiler should we use ,Can we use MinGW or Visual C++ compiler? 2.If its Visual C++ compiler, which Visual Studio version should be used ,can we use 'Visual C++ Studio 2010 express' ? thanks in advance.

    Trying to apply filter / attribute comparison in the Xmldocument. Obviously , the following code snippet wouldn't work because the expression can't be converted using number() function. (according to the answer of my other question). I'm wondering if there is a way to do the DateTime string comparison in XmlDoc.   • Visual Studio - "{ }" settings

    Seriously, I don't know what to google. Here's the thing, I like this java-like code writting: if (condition == true) { doSomeStuff(); } But VisualStudio "helps" me with his own "style", which I don't like and I am unable to change (after rather big time of desperate checking all settings :/) if (condition == true) { DoStuff(); } I obviously want the "{" char to be in same line where condition is ... I am using MS Visual Studio 2010 professional Any help appreciated!

    What is the best way to remove all merge fields from a word 2010 document using openxml sdk 2.0, and replace them with a simple text? I have some difficulties to remove them cleanly. Have tried to remove all Run objects that includes a FieldCode with a "MERGEFIELD" defined, and appended a new Run with my text. But I am missing something crucial since the field seems to stay defined for this element.

    Hi, I'm trying to get the unix time for date strings that are formatted like so: 'second sunday of march 2010' 'first sunday of november 2010' I was under the impression that strtotime could handle such a string, but apparently not, as this returns false. How can I convert to unix time when given a day of week, which one of those in the month (ie. first, second, etc.), a month and a year.

    I'm creating an email using String Template but when I print out a date, it prints out the full date (eg. Wed Apr 28 10:51:37 BST 2010). I'd like to print it out in the format dd/mm/yyyy but don't know how to format this in the .st file. I can't modify the date individually (using java's simpleDateFormatter) because I iterate over a collection of objects with dates. Is there a way to format the date in the .st email template?

DateTime.Parse("08:15") it works but it outputs todays date. I want to get date of day name. What I mean is, say I have some custom user control, and this control has certain validation that it performs when I set a particular property.
