• How to exclude unit tests from the WAR in with Google App Engine plugin?

  Hi, I am using the Google Application Engine plugin for Eclipse 3.4, and I have added unit tests in my projects. The unit tests are in a source folder named tests, separated from the source folder src. But, in the war/classes that is generated, the tests classes are present. Is there anyway not to put test classes in the generated war/classes directory? Thanks.

Which of the PHP MVC frameworks out there (CakePHP, CodeIgniter?, others?) is most similar to Ruby on Rails in that the most conventions, locations, workflows, etc are preserved? I'm looking for the similarity in the way things are done such as directory structures, conventions, etc, not a pros vs cons in speed, extra features, etc.

  When writing web apps in Python, it brain dead easy to run a development server. Django and Google App Engine both ship with simple servers. The main feature I'm looking for is no configuration. I want something like the GAE dev server where you just pass the directory of the app as a parameter when the server is started. Is there a reason that this is more difficult with PHP?

• Ruby library not found (no such file to load)

  I manually placed a library in the library directory (/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8) and when I try to require it, it says "no such file to load". I used "$:.first" to get the library path, so why wont it work? Is there any good way to debug this? Thanks

I need to be able to drop the framework into any folder on a server, no matter how many folders deep, and need to find that directory to use as a base URL.   I recently reopened a project and on trying to debug the breakpoint only shows as a red circle and gives the following message "The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document" I notice there are no PB files in the bin directory. I presume I need to rebuild the debug files. Does anybody know how to go about this?   Is there a reason as to why $map = directory_map('./', TRUE); works perfectly and, $map = directory_map('../', TRUE); doesn’t work at all? I tried creating a directory with the basic mkdir(); PHP function (http://php.net/mkdir) and it didn’t work either.
