• Cisco 861 Router forces one-to-one NAT

  I have a cisco 861 router that only allows one-to-one NATs in order to access the Internet. I would like for computers to get an address via DHCP from this router, and be able to access the Internet without needing to set a static NAT to one of my public IPs. What is wrong with the configuration? I have a basic understanding of the IOS CLI, most of the configuration file (edited for content) was created by my company's long gone Senior Network Engineer.

  Hi, I was wondering the steps I can take to change the localhost name to a test development domain name like "website.dev" on Win7 x64 ? Currently, when my test website builds its assigned to 127.0.0.1:81 but I want this to instead have a name like "website.dev" that is accessible on my local network ? [and sure any Virtual PCs built on this local PC] I think this is done via the hosts file but I am little unsure how to do this ? Would someone be able to assist ? Thx

I don't have access to domain controller and I don't want to write LDAP queries but just some GUI option or some command line stuff. Is there anyway?   I am looking for a smtp proxy to install on our gateway which should monitor outgoing smtp traffic to identify the source of recently occuring spam attacks from our network. It would be enough if this could log all outgoing mails, no actual filtering must be done as I'm going to do this manually. Also, is it possible to monitor smtps ports 465 and 587 or is it necessary to completely block these ports to stop spam?

  I have just installed CENTOS 6 on an internal network with no Internet Access. Not very familiar with LINUX/CENTOS, I managed to get httpd service started and I believe PHP wasn't installed. As the machine is not connected to the Internet, it will not be able to use YUM directly.   I would like to have one of my PCs available to the rest of my home network for file sharing and VNC access, but I want to block any Internet traffic going to and from the PC. In other words, I want all local PCs I have connected to the router functioning as any normal LAN would, but when it comes to the Internet I want one particular PC to be "safe" from the Internet. • VPN connects but no remote lan access

Now I can connect, and I can ping the router however I am unable to reach any of the machines on the remote network. In my case I am talking about printers. I have code to go out on the network and find the IP Address of all of my printers, but would like to be able to update a server based on a printer being swapped out of a location for maintenance or repair.   Some web pages won't download fully under any browser on any computer connected to the network. I have Internet access through a wireless modem/router (2 Mbps DSL connection, wireless reception is excellent). I use Opera and when I turn on Opera turbo the same sites download fully.
