• Is it better to create the db/tables programmatically or through a .db file in assets

  Hi, does Android have a "best practices" guideline on creating & populating the db/tables programmatically vs. deploying a .db file in assets? What are the pros/cons of both approaches? I have a db with big long strings in several columns, and about 50 rows, so writing the insert statements alone would take quite some space. It seems a waste. Thoughts? Thanks! llappall

• Objective-C Interface Builder don't see renamed class

  Hi, I've renamed a UITableViewController class in Xcode, which was used as a parent class in a XIB. The Interface Builder still uses the old name for that class and it compiles and works fine. Interface Builder doesn't see the new name of the class and when I try to type in manually, it compiles and gives me an exception at the runtime: "Unknown class ... in Interface Builder file." Is there a way to update the class name in the Interface Builder? Thanks

  Hey, I've a TimeZoneInfo object and from this one I want to create a TIME_ZONE_INFO struct. Bias, StandardDate and Daylightdate are pretty easy to obtain. However, I'm having problems getting standardbias and daylightbias. So the question is, How can I get the standardbias from a TimeZOneInfo object and how can I get the same thing for daylightbias (there is a AdjustmentRule.DaylightDelta, but as you can see I need the offset not the delta). • My -tpl file won't update!

  Hi, I am running the site at www.euroworker.no, it's a linux server and the site has a backend editor. It's a smarty/php site, and when I try to update a few of the .tpl's (two or three) they don't update. I have tried uploading through FTP and that doesn't work either. It runs on the livecart system. any ideas? Thanks!
