Is there anyway I can make the process of adding references to C# projects less painfull?
Every time I create a new C# class library project. I have to use the Add Reference dialog for 5 times at least.
I am looking for a easy to use library in java that can convert a video into arrays(corresponding to frames). Arrays will be used for frame processing with standard algos like GMM
Hi, I've downloaded the dll's for ImageMagick and am wondering if anybody knows of some example code to accomplish a simple task:
I have generated an image in C++ and have the buffer in RGB format. I need to convert it to PDF format (without writing to a file) before sending it over a TCP socket.
Is this doable with ImageMagick (or any other library)?
Hi,
I want to create a unique hash (16 chars long) of an arbitrary length String. Is there a good library that implements MD5 or SHA-1 for C++ with which I can achieve this? (and possibly an example of how to use it)
I'm looking for some simple tasks like listing all the running process of a user, or kill a particular process by pid etc. Basic unix process management from Java. Is there a library out there that is relatively mature and documented? I could run a external command from the JVM and then parse the standard output/error but that seems like a lot of work and not robust at all. Any suggestions?
a<- data.frame(sex=c(1,1,2,2,1,1),bq=factor(c(1,2,1,2,2,2)))
library(Hmisc)
label(a$sex)<-"gender"
label(a$bq)<-"xxx"
str(a)
b<-data.frame(lapply(a, as.character), stringsAsFactors=FALSE)
str(b)
When I covert dataframe a columns to character, the columns labels disappeared. My dataframe have many columns. Here as an example only two columns. How to keep columns labels when numeric convert to character? Thank you!
IIS 7 and Visual Studio 2008, every time you attach to w3wp.exe you get an Attach Security Warning,
How do you turn this of?
It would be cool to know also, how to keep it attached for linger, as this seems to time out after a while
Btw: I Added this as a comment to the answer below, the first thing i did was try the msdn article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241736.aspx that doesn't work
Im just wondering how i use xmlencoder to serialize ArrayList where foo is my own made class.
Do i have to do anything in particular, ie define my own xml structure first and then call toString on each value in my list and write it out?
Can anyone point me to a good tutorial? http://java.sun.com/products/jfc/tsc/articles/persistence4/ Thats what i have been looking at but it doesnt seem to mention what to do with non library classes.
Thanks
I'm using the Tapestry5 tapx template library to send an html email, as per this example.
When I run the example I get the following error:
Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: No service implements the interface org.springframework.context.ApplicationContext.
at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.RegistryImpl.getService(RegistryImpl.java:560)
at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.ObjectLocatorImpl.getService(ObjectLocatorImpl.java:44)
All the tapestry-* jars, including tapestry-spring-5.1.05.jar are in my classpath.
Any clues as to what I'm missing?
I wrote my Java application in Eclipse. Now I would like to generate a .jar file which can be run on other systems from the command line. Is there a easy way to do it in Eclipse?
In particular I am wondering what should I do with the jar files of external library that I use (should it be included into my .jar file?).
Moreover, should I generate some manifest files?
How to remove parent element and all the respective nodes using plain javascript. I m not using any Jquery or other library.

The default output of File.toURL() is
file:/c:/foo/bar
These don't appear to work on windows, and need to be changed to
file:///c:/foo/bar
Does the format
file:/c:/foo/bar
work correctly on Unix (I don't have a Unix machine to test on)? Is there a library that can take care of generating a URL from a File that is in the correct format for the current environment?
I know how to reference an existing .dll to IronPython, but is there any way to add my project as a reference like I can between Visual Studio projects?
Or is it best practice to create a separate class library?
What DLLs would have functions for accessing things in the System Tray? Do I even need the winapi, or are there classes already available in the Class Library for this? I'm hoping to find a way to emulate all the functionality of the system tray, i.e. the icons, the mouseover text, and the capability to display the context menu.
I have an ASP.NET MVC site that uses both Microsoft Ajax [Ajax.BeginForm()] and jQuery to make asynchronous requests. I want to configure both frameworks such that a generic error handler is automatically attached if the developer does not explicitly specify a failure callback.
In jQuery I can accomplish this with either .ajaxSetup() or .ajaxError(). What is the equivalent in the Microsoft Ajax client library? I'm fairly sure it's something in the Sys object but I can't find it...
Does anybody know the VB or C# code to programmatically download a video from YouTube?
I have gone through all related questions on this site and the only code I have found (which uses the WebClient Class webclient.DownloadFileAsync) returns the text source of the video, but not the Flash video (.flv) file that needs to be downloaded?
Do you know any SDK or library which can help?
I have also downloaded the GoogleAPI (YouTube DLL) but have not found a way of doing it.
I've read the documentation here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms776420(VS.85).aspx
I'm stuck on this parameter:
lpMultiByteStr
[out] Pointer to a buffer that receives the converted string.
I'm not quite sure how to properly initialize the variable and feed it into the function
Hi,
Does anyone know good and simple to use in production code R-tree (actually, any implementations - R*, R+ or PR-tree would be great)?
It doesn't matter if it is a template or library implementation, but some implementations that google found look very disappointing...
Thanks in advance.
In the example for Zend_Mail on http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.mail.attachments.html they use ENCODING_8BIT but searching for what that might be sends me to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms526992%28EXCHG.10%29.aspx were (and this sounds logical to me) it is explained that 8bit encoding does not make sense for emails.
My main solution is using code from a utiliy class library, that I wrote myself, but is part from an other solution.I want to set a breakpoint in the referenced .dll. How can I do that?
I want to use some features of python like as Tuples and Sets in c#. should I implement them? or there are already implemented? could anybody knows a library of dynamic data structures for .net languages?
I need to test a class library project in VS. This project, itself, does not have a web.config file, but the classes do on the web server to which it's deployed. I access these like this:
ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["stringname"].ConnectionString;
Can I adjust these strings while running unit tests in VS? Should I have considered a different design method to avoid this problem?
I find it very convenient to use storyboards, especially to have (and show) an overview of the application.
However, I also find it very annoying to replicate the same code and views without the possibility to keep at least a reusable library of the most common xibs.
This is especially true with UITableView and its cell.
Did some of you have had any idea or best practice to share for dealing with this issue?
I would like to access a bazaar repository and pull code from it with either a Python or PHP script.
How is this done? Is there a Python module / PEAR library that makes this easy?
If it helps, the repository is on Launchpad.
