    I've got a statusbar item that pops open an NSMenu, and I have a delegate set and it's hooked up correctly (-(void)menuNeedsUpdate:(NSMenu *)menu works fine). That said, that method is setup to be called before the menu is displayed, I need to listen for that and trigger an asynchronous request, later updating the menu while it is open, and I can't figure out how that's supposed to be done.     In SQL Server 2008, is it possible to create a column that can have a value inserted into it, but can never be updated? In other words, the column can have an initial value inserted into it, but once it contains a non-null value, it can never be changed. If possible, I would prefer to do it without using a trigger.     I have the most basic jquery function of them all, but I couldn't find a way in the documentation to trigger the contents of this click function after say 1500 milliseconds: $('.masonryRecall').click(function(){ $('#mainContent').masonry(); }); P.S. just noticed the .delay function jquery 1.4, although, I am using version 1.3. I don't know whether updating this would interfere with any of the other javascript I currently have.

Problem is, when it comes to save them, I'm not sure how to process the validation, since they're not bound directly to any data context, but rather, are mapped to separate data-layer objects. Is there a way to trigger validation on these kinds of objects?

    Hi! What would be an appropriate way to do this, since mySQL obviously doesnt enjoy this. To leave either partitioning or the foreign keys out from the database design would not seem like a good idea to me. I'll guess that there is a workaround for this?   • jQuery - resizable + draggable, the scrolling(left,top) is not added

    I have a problem with a dragging and resizable box. It works fine, drags and rezises fine, but i have a container that holds these elements and as soon as I trigger an overflow and attempt to rezise the div it fails and resets backs to container width. http://jsfiddle.net/JTTYM/26/ It seams as the this.scrollLeft and this.scrollTop are not included on drag. As i import this DB to new one my triggers get imported as well but the trigger_schema are not changed as per new DB.. What could be done to get resolve this problem?

I see a couple of SELECT and even an UPDATE. I swear I am not doing a "save" -- so I have no idea why setting attributes would trigger queries. Is there a before_ of after_ filter I am missing?     There is a mouseUpEvent listener attached to the stage, while dragging the movieClip the mouseUpEvent doesnot trigger the handler somehow the mouseUp gets lost. While the item is being dragged and the mouse is moved away from the movieClip i.e somewhere not on the item but on the stage the mouseUp is detected. Any ideas!!
