    Every here and there I hear about new LED monitors. I imagined that they were really LED monitors - that their screens were formed of multiple tiny LEDs that lit up in a controlled manner to form an image. Yet turns out they are LED backlit LCD monitors. What's the difference between this and a trusty Belinea 10 17 51 I've been using for the five years already?

  • Why can't I wrap text around grouped images in Word?

    When I paste two images into Microsoft Word and I set Wrap Text To Square: and then group them so they stick nicely together, I can no longer Wrap Text around this newly grouped image. Any explanation why text wrapping is disabled for grouped images? Note: if I don't change the Wrap Text option, I can't group them. This is for Word 2010 on Windows 7, but I've had this problem with every version of Word.

    I've got a Windows 7 install running on my laptop, and will be upgrading to an SSD shortly. If I take a Windows system image backup from my current HD, and restore it to my SSD, will I get the SSD optimizations, or does Windows do those checks during the install? If so, is there some way I can force Windows to recheck and/or act accordingly?

  • Removing open session from dvd-rw

    As you can see from the above image, nero is showing some "session is open" in my DVD rewritable disc. The problem is whenever I erase the session it is not getting erased and I am unable to write the remaining part of the disc. So, the worst part is will I be able to use this dvd-rw again or now it's just a waste scrap? Nero version is 11 OS win7 AV is KIS2012 Dvd-rw is from Sony company Dvd drive from samsung sh-s203b with latest firmware

    I downloaded garageband from mac app store but something happend with my internet connection - probably connection crashed - and downloading (or installing) stopped. When apps instalation didnt start, then I cklicked on install button at Mac AppStore. In Launchpad was created new icon of garageband which was downloaded again and internet connection crashed again.   • Server restarted while rebuilding array, what to do?

    It's a HP ProLiant DL380 Generation 7, that has four hard drives, one is dead, I suppose that another one is dead too, but is there any way to force the array to rebuild again? The server has restarted while it was rebuilding an array. My windows server(2008) that is on it won't boot, it goes directly to system recovery screen. I have an image backup, would restoring it be my only option?If I restore, it will get back to regular automatically or will I have to configure something?

    I mounted a disk image using a few different FUSE modules and then subsequently renamed the parent directory. Windows is listening on TCP port 445: TCP 0.0.0.0:445 WIN7TEST:0 ABHÖREN The corresponding incoming firewall rule isn't activated (4th column): When I choose "workplace network" the SMB incoming port 445 rule is still disabled in the advanced windows firewall configuration. I thought "public network" / "workplace network" and so on is influencing the windows firewall rules!?     This was totally an isolated incident, but I performed this command: ping 192.168.1.134 and got this result [image]: Pinging 192.168.1.134 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 192.168.1.133: Destination host unreachable. Reply from 192.168.1.134: bytes=32 time=75ms TTL=128 Reply from 192.168.1.134: bytes=32 time=83ms TTL=128 Reply from 192.168.1.134: bytes=32 time=96ms TTL=128 note the .133 in the first 'unreachable' reply. I guess I don't understand how this is possible - even given a totally crazy coincidence.

However, the article uses shell32.dll and a icon location to do so. I have found an image map detailing the icons location in shell32.dll in Windows XP but was wondering if anyone knew of something similar for Windows 7.

  • Boot Toshiba Portege M200 with no CD drive

    This has not CD drive and I would like to boot to Acronis to reload from an image that I created. I don't know how else to get the OS and all the drivers loaded. It doesn't seem to have Toshiba hidden boot partion on the HD. It doesn't seem to recognize my USB external CD drive or my USB flash drive. Any ideas? Paul
