  • AjaxControlToolkit.resources.dll files deleted

    I'm using the ASP.NET Ajax toolkit. In addition to the AjaxControlToolkit.dll in my bin directory, I have language directories named es, de, fr, etc... The single file, the AjaxControlToolkit.resources.dll disappears from these directories every once in a while - I can't figure out why. I manually copy them back, but I've purposely done rebuild and clean solutions and they are still there. Somewhere during my normal course of work, when I'm not looking, they're gone. Any clues?

  • Powershell IIS7 Snap in Assign SSL certificate to https binding

Once i have created the AppPool and the website complete with binding information I want to set the SSL certificate for the https binding. I can't find any concrete examples onl;ine anywhere that demonstrate this. Any ideas? Looking for a benevolent powershell god...

  • iPhone speech recognition API?

    The new iPhone 3GS has support for voice commands, stuff like "call Bill" or "play music by the strokes" and whatnot. I was looking through the iPhone SDK, but I cannot find any references to this capability. All of the search keywords I choose seem to only find the new voice chat functionality. Does anyone know whether Apple has added voice command APIs to the SDK, or whether it's yet another forbidden API? If it does exist, could someone point a particular class out to me?

    I need to do calculations (division or multiplication) with very large numbers. Currently I am using Double and getting the value round off problems. I can do the same calculations accurately on C# using Decimal type. I am looking for a method to do accurate calculations in VB6.0 and I couldn't find a Decimal type in VB6.0. What is the data type used for doing arithmetic calculations with large values and without getting floating point round off problems? Thanks

  • To create an inbox like Gmail in jQuery, would something like the Accordion effect work for opening

    I've been looking for a pre-built jQuery component that I could use to build an inbox for a messaging application: http://jqueryui.com/demos/accordion/ I was thinking that if I could close all of the elements in the Accordion, that would be equivalent to showing a list of unopened messages when the user first logs into their Inbox. And then, by clicking on the leaves of the Accordion, they can see each message one by one. Is this a good idea or is there some other jQuery plugin that would work better for this type of functionality?

    Can anyone think of a way to simulate the fade/blur flash effect used in the following website: http://www.frenchlaundry.com/ (image fades and blurs on hover, while text fades in simultaneously) using JQuery? I am looking to have this whole chain of effects happen on load or when the DOM is ready (instead of on hover). And by blur, I mean a gaussian-type of blur - possibly using Pixastic (?)     I am looking at Apple's 'aurioTouch' example for the iPhone and I would like to play an mp3 or wav instead of using the built in mic. I am very new to the audio portion of iPhone programming, but I think I need to modify the SetupRemoteIO(...) function and replace the AudioComponent named 'comp' with a custom AudioComponent that plays a file. Basically I want the app to function exactly the same as the original, but with an audio file as the input instead of the mic.

    I'm looking for an algorithm that rotates an image by some degrees (input). public Image rotateImage(Image image, int degrees) (Image instances could be replaced with int[] containing each pixel RGB values, My problem is that i need to implement it for a JavaME MIDP 2.0 project so i must use code runnable on JVM prior to version 1.5 Can anyone help me out with this ? EDIT: I forgot to mention that i don't have SVG APIs available and that i need a method to rotate by arbitrary degree other than 90 - 180- 270 Also, no java.awt.* packages are available on MIDP 2.0

    Hello all, I recently setup a server using the latest version of XAMPP for Windows. With it came PHP 5.3. I'm now looking for a memcache.dll file that works with PHP 5.3 I've used some of the previous .dll files and recieved an error message: "PHP Startup: memcache: Unable t initialize module. Module compiled with module API=20060613 PHP compiled with module api=20090626 These options need to match" Any links to a PHP 5.3 memcache.dll file would be greatly appreciated.
