  Possible Duplicate: Tools to search for strings inside files without indexing Before I make one, any good tools out there for free/cheap that will recurse through all files in a directory and search for a text string in them? Need to find an instance of a string in any configuration files laying around. Kind of like a Windows Search "find files that contain..." on steroids? • C automatically assign port

  Hi, I just wanted to know how to use C to automatically assign a free port (and see what was used) if a specific port number is not provided. For example, i'm using this: struct sockaddr_in address; address->sin_family = AF_INET; address->sin_addr.s_addr = INADDR_ANY; address->sin_port = htons( port ); But how can I replace the sin_port assignment and let C automatically assign for me? • Any picture Gallery Control for .NET 1.1 in WinForms?

  I need a UserControl to display pictures as a Gallery in Winforms. I have my pictures as a Image Collection but no problem to change to fit Control capabilities. It could be nice if it is for .NET 1.1 but since I'm planning to migrate all our code to 2.0 if the control is in that framework it could be useful in the future If it is free much better :) Does any of you know a control like this?   I have a MainMenu in my app and I would like to have little icons relevant to the Item in each menu. But the MainMenu control does not support this. I would use the MenuStrip control, though that is a pretty ugly option in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any free/open source alt's out there, or would it be easy/possible to implement that feature into the existing MainMenu control?

  PHP is just awful but atm the only cheap server technology available. If you want free hosting you are stuck with php. If you want cheap hosting too. Windows hosting is like 3x the pice. It's amazing how much effort people put into executing a task in php while they could this 10 times faster and better with a real language/server platform (asp.net). Just my 2 cents.

• What is the proper odbc command for calling Oracle stored procedure with parameters from .Net?

  In the case of MSFT SQL Server 08, it is: odbcCommand = new OdbcCommand("{call " + SP_NAME + " (?,?,?,?,?,?,?) }", odbcConn); When I try to do the same thing for Oracle, I get: OdbcException: ERROR [HYC00] [Oracle][ODBC]Optional feature not implemented. Feel free to ask for clarification, and please help. I am using .Net 3.5, SQL Server 08, and Oracle 11g_home1. P.S. The Oracle stored procedure does have some 3 more parameters, but I believe I am handling this in my code.
