Is there such a thing as an "on load complete" for images in iphone?
I want to be able to destroy a UIActivity indicator once and image is loaded.
What the general best practice for doing this?

I need to add a logo (like 100X15) on the top left corner (like x 10; y 10) of videos. The logo would be a png image. How would I do that with the help of mencoder? Googling didn't help much. Thanks.
I need a UserControl to display pictures as a Gallery in Winforms. I have my pictures as a Image Collection but no problem to change to fit Control capabilities.
It could be nice if it is for .NET 1.1 but since I'm planning to migrate all our code to 2.0 if the control is in that framework it could be useful in the future
If it is free much better :)
Does any of you know a control like this?
Thanks!
I have a searchbox with auto-suggest that pops a div up underneath it with multiple search string suggestions (like google). Is it possible to have drop shadow on the auto-suggest box with CSS or will I need a script of some sort? I tried a background image but the number of suggests can vary from 1 to 10 or 15.
I'd prefer something that works in IE6+ and FF2+ if possible. Thanks!
Hi experts,
Can we add an view to the splash screen in iphone?. I have a default.png file in my resources directory but when the splash screen pops up i want to display an text on the splash screen image is it possible in code.
I'm trying to create an image rotator class that cycles through an arbitrary number of images in an unordered list. Is it possible to define a recursive function within a class declaration? E.g:
var Rotator = Class.create() {
initialize: function() {
do something...
this.rotate();
}
rotate: function() {
do something...
this.rotate()
}
}
I wonder if it is possible to write a lightroom plugin, which applies crop rectangles to a set of images?
Of course I do not just want to duplicate the crop, I'd like to set a different crop to every image, based on some computations.
Can this be achieved with lightroom plugins, or would I need to try a different approach?
I have opened assembly with reflector and saved some .resources files to my hard drive. There is some bitmaps in there, how can I get them from saved .resources file?
I'd like to save them as image (.bmp) file via code or some program.
Why am I getting an "out of scope" error whenever I try to access the "url" variable in this loop?
for(NSString *url in self.winnerImageURLs) {
[mediaItemString appendFormat:@"{\"type\":\"image\",\"src\":\"%@\",\"href\":\"%@\"},", url, url];
}
The class of very item in the "self.winnerImageURLs" NSMutableArray comes back as NSCFString so I'm not sure what the dealio is here.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong???
Thanks
I'm loading pixels from an image which is 32 w by 32 height. The format I'm loading them in is ARGB via java. When I bind this to the video card, I can expect that the video card might use somewhere around 32*32*4 bytes, or 4K.
Similarly, 1024 w, 1024 h would be 1024*1024*4 = 4MB.
Is my understanding correct? Now I understand where all the memory goes!
I've managed to get email attachments onto Amazon S3 from a GAE incoming email, but does anyone know a technique to get an attachment, like an image, into the blobstore.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I've found, via Google, numerous people asking the same question, but no solutions. The Python Image Library (PIL) has tools for stepping through an already existing multi-page TIFF, but nothing about creating them.
Libraries would hopefully be available on Windows, for Python 2.6.
If there's some freeware out there which will do the trick, I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I was hoping I could accomplish this in Python.
Hi,
I'm writing a php application and was wondering if it's a bad idea to store complete files in the database. Files should be around 100-200kb mostly text files (txt, doc, docx and so on) or small image files. Or is it just a plain wrong idea?
On click a image how can another page be previewed in the same page without opening the actual page.And lets say the url /home/home.php?id=3
The preview should be in the preview div
<img src="/home/app/img/toggle.gif" onlclick="show();" />
<div id="preview"></div>
Thanks..
Is there any java libraries that is similar to unix's command file?
ie:
$ file somepicture.png
somepicture.png PNG image, 805 x 292, 8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced
The file command is such a nice tool. I need something that can tell me if the file is really what I want it to be. (ie a picture, document etc)
I know I can run the command file, but I am looking for a java library, not running the actual unix command.
I want to get the currently selected item (text, image, etc) and display in my Cocoa app's window when a keyboard shortcut is hit. Droplr has functionality like this, for example. How do I go about doing this?
For uploading an image, the browse button is not properly aligned and also how can i change the colour of the browse button to red? I have used file field.
