I would like to use a simple database trigger to write to an audit table but I am unsure of how I would be able to add the user that is logged on instead of the account that is actually doing the work.     I am interested in activating another application's activity. I know from reading the Android SDK that it's probably better to do this with an implicit intent. However, this activity doesn't reside in an application I own, so I don't know the action and category and data flags on the intent-filter. How can I examine an Android applications metadata like the activity classes and the intent-filters for those activities (if declared in the manifest)? Thanks!

    I know that whenever you add/remove/modify any file in the "App_Code", "App_GlobalResources", and "bin" directories that ASP.NET will recompile and essentially restart the application. My question is : "What happens to any threads currently executing durring the change?" Do they finish? Is a Thread.Abort Exception thrown? What happens if the application itself makes a change in any of those directories?

I need to make sure that the web part that I created is not displayed for people who don't have permissions for the site I'm getting the data from. How do I "disable" the web part if a user doesn't have permissions? I've tried this.enabled = false in the onload() event, didn't work though.
