  • any simple jquery <table> paginators

    - by Mike
    I'm looking for a jquery plugin so I can paginate my html tables (the content of which is generated by a jsp c:forEach). But so far I haven't found anything that worked. The plugin doesn't need to be fancy, in fact something like the first example on http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4151695/html/pajinate-0.2/examples/example1.html would do fine. I'm still very new to jquery so I don't have the knowledge yet to write one myself. So does anyone have any pointers where I could find one?

  • Rails 3 - raw/html_safe not working in some cases?

    - by Frexuz
    I'm having difficulties with output not being encoded even though I'm using raw or html_safe. This one is writing out the &nbsp in my final HTLM page. def build_tag_cloud(tag_cloud, style_list) tag_cloud.sort!{ |x,y| x.permalink <=> y.permalink } max, min = 0, 0 tag_cloud.each do |tag| max = tag.followers.to_i if tag.followers.to_i > max min = tag.followers.to_i if tag.followers.to_i < min end divisor = ((max - min) / style_list.size) + 1 html = "" tag_cloud.each do |tag| name = raw(tag.name.gsub('&','&amp;').gsub(' ','&nbsp;')) link = raw(link_to "#{name}", {:controller => "/shows", :action => "show", :permalink => tag.permalink}, :class => "#{style_list[(tag.followers.to_i - min) / divisor]}") html += raw("<li>#{link}</li> ") end return raw(html.to_s) end What is allowed in using raw and html_safe? And how should my example above be fixed?

  • Simple nested setTimeout() only runs once (JavaScript)

    For some reason my galleryScroll() function only runs once, even though the function calls itself using setTimeout(). • Actionscript / Flex: a question about handleAllEvents() method.

    - by Patrick
    Hi, in Adobe tutorials, they suggest to create a class to handle the events (see below the copy/pasted code, and link to page). I was wondering if I have to handle all events with the function handleAllEvents, using if statements to check if the target is the one I want, and the event is the one I want. i.e. if (event.type=="click") && (event.currentTarget == "myId") Should I have a list of ifs (for each target and each event type ?) thanks // events/MyStaticEventHandler.as package { // Empty package. import flash.events.Event; import mx.controls.Alert; public class MyStaticEventHandler { public function MyStaticEventHandler() { // Empty constructor. } public static function handleAllEvents(event:Event):void { Alert.show("Some event happened."); } } } Link (at the bottom): http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=events_05.html

  • Drupal 7 - change index.php as a default main page

    - by reycoy
    I'm trying to work on my new website Drupal7 while I'm keeping in the hosting my old static website. So I have: index.html (static website. I want to keep for my users) index.php (drupal new installation) Is there a way to set in drupal this kind of situation? The problem, as you problably can see at this point, is that every time I'm going to a different section I'm being redirected to the .html homepage. I mean for example the admin section is: www.mydomain.com/?q=admin instead of www.mydomain.com/index.php?q=admin What's the easiest way to keep the html static web for my current users while I'm developing my drupal7 website in the "background"?

  • How to integrate a GWT app into another Web-Framework?

    - by tigger
    I need the ability to load and start a GWT App at any time in an Echo2 environment. My first approach was to load and execute the nocache.js in a Client-Server sync using var script = document.createElement("script"); script.setAttribute("src",javascriptURI); script.setAttribute("type","text/javascript"); document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].appendChild(script); This call basically works, but when the script is executed it operates on an EMPTY document instead of the current document of the Echo2 application. Has the script to be somehow initialized first or is there any event required? The GWT application/script works fine if it's included in the start-up HTML of the application, so I assume the GWT App to be correct. The original standalone HTML of the GWT App has the HTML script tag in the body as well.

  • Problem with jQuery animation

    - by Daemon
    I have a problem with an animation in jQuery using ajax. On the click of an button (actually an tag), I call a ajax method, and have the following written inside the success parameter: success: function(msg) { $('.ContentsMainRight').children().fadeOut(500, function() { $('.ContentsMainRight').html(msg.d); $('.ContentsMainRight').children().fadeIn(1000); }); }, This have the following result. The contents of a div fade out over 500ms as it's supposed to. Then the html contents of the div are swapped, but then the last part did not work as I hoped. The html returned by the ajax method include some text inside a tag, and a image inside a tag. The result is that the text is automatically displayed instantly with no fadein, but the img that is put fades in over 1 second. Why is the text and image treated differently? -Daemon
