  • scaffold does not update view

    Hi there I have a question to the following procedure: script/generate scaffold product title:string description:text db:migrate #then I generate a migration which adds a column description to the table products and migrate the db again. My question is: why is the field description not added to the project-views? Is that normal rails scaffold behaviour? I think I saw in a video tutorial that the scaffold updates as well the views, which would be very convenient. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello, I have a datetime field in mysql table and i am using JPA for persisting data but only date goes in database. Time always shows 00:00:00. What should i do? I am not doing any manipulation with Date. All i do is to assign new Date() to a variable and store it in database. What am i doing wrong?

It's not in a form, and I can't find a way to serialize it to move onto setting up the AJAX update.

What should I change in my code or web.config to make this webapp load OK also in new 2008 server? Now I receive this error when I access the application: This type is in IMPORTS ( Dll ). Compiler Error Message: BC30002: Type 'Facebook.Entity.User' is not defined.

    I'm trying to compile a program called hiQlab on OSX 10.8 g++ -g -O2 -I`echo /Users/.../Documents/hiQlab/hiqlab-2006-07-20/tools/`/lua/include -I`echo /Users/.../Documents/hiQlab/hiqlab-2006-07-20/tools/`/tolua++/include -c cscmatrix.cc cscmatrix.cc:13:12: fatal error: 'umfpack.h' file not found #include "umfpack.h" but I just installed SuiteSparse through macports which includes umfpack and umfpack.h is in fact present in default directory /opt/local/include/ do I need to add the path or something?     const int t=5; char buf[t+5]; When I compile this gives error in C but not in C++!! Can anybody please explain me the reason? Note: I know the const defaults to internal linkage in 'C++', where as in 'C' it defaults to external linkage. Does it has any relation to the above case??

However there are a couple of methods so I loop through an array of method names and call the method like this: my $methodName ="helloWorld"; $myObject->$methodNames; This works quite nice but some objects don't have all methods. How can I tell whether $myObject has a method called helloWorld or not?

    I'm making the call using the following script which is called on click of an anchor tag function GetToken(videoId) { debugger; var json = $.getJSON("/Vod/RequestAccessToken/"+videoId, function(result){ alert("token recieved: " + result.token); }); } In the server application I recieve the call so I know it is a valid URL, but the callback is not being invoked. If i set though the jquery code (f11/f10) the callback is called??!!!?
