    I am trying to create my own class of dictionary in python 3 which has a field of dict variable and setitem and getitem methods. Though, it doesnt work for some reason. Tried to look around but couldn't find the answer. class myDictionary: def __init(self): self.myDic={} def __setitem__(self, key, value): self.myDic[key]=value I'm getting: 'myDictionary' object has no attribute 'myDic' Any ideas? :)

    Hi all Say I got 3 entities: Business, Employee and Payment. A payment has a foreign key to an Employee, while the Employee has an foreign key to a business. Now, I want to create a query which gives me all payments for a given business. I really don't have a clue about how to do this - I guess I want something like: mySession.CreateCriteria<Payment>() .Add(Criterion.Expression.Eq(/* Employee_FK => Employee.Business_FK == BusinessID */); Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    I ran this using MySql and it appears to not like TEXT. With SQL server i use nvarchar(max) What should i use in MySQL? It periodically takes screenshots to the specified area. When you start recording, it hides (decativates) the window. On a Mac, when you give an application focus, any hidden windows will activate. In my class WListener (which I have confirmed to work), I have: public void windowActivated(WindowEvent e) { if(ScreenRecorder.recordingThread != null) { ScreenRecorder.recordingThread.endThread(); } } So what SHOULD happen is, the screenshot-taking thread stops when he clicks on the application. However, I must be brutally screwing something up, because when the thread is running, it won't even let the window reappear. This is my first thread, so I expected a weird problem like this. Do you know what's wrong?

    Possible Duplicate: Delete duplicate records from a SQL table without a primary key I have a table with the columns person_ID firstname lastname and I somehow ended up with a bunch of duplicates. Is there any way to look at all columns where firstname and lastname are the same and delete all except one of them (it doesn't matter which one is left as they are all the same.)   • Need help with map (c++, STL)

    Hi folks! Actually I'm new to C++. I tried something out (actually the map container) but it doesn't work the way I assumed it will... Before posting my code, I will explain it shortly. I created 3 classes: ClassA ClassDerivedA ClassAnotherDerivedA The two last ones are derived from "ClassA". Further I created a map: map<string,ClassA> test_map; I put some objects (from Type ClassDerivedA and ClassAnotherDerivedA) into the map. Keep in mind: the mapped value is from type "ClassA". This will only work because of Polymorphism. Finally I created an iterator which runs over my map and compares the user input with my keys in the map. If they match, it will call a specific method called "printOutput".
