  Is there a way using jQuery or Javascript to force a page to open in Firefox? For example, if the user has their default browser set to internet explorer, but they have firefox on their computer - open a new firefox window with the intended page. If so, I would need to check to see if they have firefox on their machine; otherwise, redirect to the mozilla firefox download site... any suggestions?

  has anyone find out why FriendFeed advanced search result url doesn't have not search field parameter? some example: contains the words field, when you inputs a text "ok" and push search, then response url is http://friendfeed.com/search?q=ok if you also inputs a text into words in the title field, like texts "I'm", response url is http://friendfeed.com/search?q=ok+intitle%3Ai%27m well, pretty beautiful. not like other site response all field even you don't push a text into. anyone know how to make this effect?

  hi does anyone know any sort of app that lets users visit a page on their mobile phone, enter information and have it update the website i believe the term is "mobile-blogging" but there isn't all that much on google or, is there any good resources for coding pages specifically for a mobile phone?   I have a .Net web application that for performance issues gets all the static data (CSS, Images, JS) from an external server that is on different location and different hosting company. I want to enable SSL on my site without the users getting a message: "Page contains both secure and insecure elements" Does this means I’ll have to get two SSL Certificates one for each server? If I want the users to continue getting the static content from the external server what other options do I have? Thanks.

• Joomap (on joomla) causes 404 error if it is menulink case

  Hi, I'm using Joomla 1.5 and installed Joomap to create site map. I found that if the item in the Joomap tree is a menulink (menu alias), then it cannot work as deserved. It will cause a 404 error which said the component cannot be found when the menulink is clicked. thanks

I've seen a site that as soon as you have http://http:// it removes one via Ajax. I am not familiar with Ajax, so can anyone help me? I don't want to clear the field on focus only.

• Getting error using ContactManager Sample

  I have created some contacts data in the emulator. When I run the ContactManager sample app downloaded from the Android site, I get an error. Specifically, when trying to add a Contact through the app, I get a NullPointerException. I think it is because the "Target Accounts" spinner on the scree is not getting populated, and hence I cannot select a Target Account before adding a contact. Has anyone run across this problem or has any clues on how to fix this?
